1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / What does a low number of nodes mean? on: March 06, 2013, 08:12:00 PM
Just tried to transfer 6 BTC to my other wallet with the quick send via the blockchain wallet.

However, it did not include a fee so now the confirmation time says unknown and the Network Propagation says "0% - 2 Nodes - (Very Poor)".

What does this mean? Will my transaction ever be confirmed? Is there any way that I can "cancel" the transaction and include the proper fee to make sure there are no problems?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Double-spends, Double-spends everywhere! on: March 06, 2013, 07:18:26 PM
For example, I just gambled 1.6 on 50% but it got double spended.

And thus it has become an invalid bet.  SatoshiDICE only guarantees the payouts it makes will confirm if your wager confirms as well.   So your bet to them ended up being invalid.

I won and got 3.2 btc back, but that transactions is also double spended.

Yup, that will never confirm if it ended up being a double spend.
The bet and the winnings was confirmed yesterday, and now says no double spend detected, yaay  Grin
Congratulations! Better to stop while you're ahead. I know it's hard, but really stop.
I will. Right now I'm up about 7-8 bitcoins. Moving some funds away from my "gambling wallet" to make sure I don't spend it all. Smiley

Okay so the transaction got confirmed and everything's all right, except the fact that most of my satoshidice bets gets double spent. Which means I get double spent money back. For example, I just gambled 1.6 on 50% but it got double spended. I won and got 3.2 btc back, but that transactions is also double spended. Why is this? And what does it mean? Will it recieve confirms and the double spend will go away or what?  Huh

Have i just lost 20 btc or is there any way to solve this?

Wait for one of the transactions to confirm and depending on what client you are using the problem will resolve itself. Nothing is lost just a bit of time is needed to resolve the conflict.
Thanks!

Aight so I had some bets on satoshidice that got double spended which I tried to solve in another thread. I tried to move my funds to my backup wallet and but couldn't send 15 btc at once so I sent 3x5 transactions. I checked the backup wallet and all of a sudden I had 4 transactions so I had 20 BTC. I was confused and tried to send back 20 to the same place the 15 came from, and expected an error message or something. But instead a transaction of 19.99 btc went away to my old adress but now THAT transactions says double spend.

Have i just lost 20 btc or is there any way to solve this?

The transaction hasch for the 20 btc: https://blockchain.info/sv/tx/d1509597829860a9a1f59dcf9408697a6baefcc53fafd1bc288ad8f6539f4848
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / SatoshiDice built-in the Blockchain Double Spends my bets?! on: March 05, 2013, 01:19:47 PM
Hello there!

I've been using SatoshiDice for awhile and have earned some and lost some. However, yesterday I discovered something wierd. I was going to place some bets but when I check my transactions I had two of the bets I had placed, I pressed update and one of the dissapeared but the one which was still there said double-spend. I got my response transaction with win however and this has happend quite a few times. However I now have one bet of 2 BTC and one of 0.5 BTC which are unconfirmed, double-spend and no responses to my bets what so ever. What's wrong?? I was also trying to send 15 btc to my other wallet but I get "No Free Outputs To Spend" when I try to do it, even though I have over 15 BTC in my wallet. Can someone please help me fix this issue?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Blockchain.info shows wrong price?! on: February 23, 2013, 01:33:02 PM
Wassup?

Okay so when I'm in my blockchain wallet and update my wallet the value on my btc (right next to the ammount of btc you have) go up and down like crazy. If you update and then update one minute later it can decrease in value with 100$ and then go up 1 minute later when you update again, why is it like this? I'm getting scared that bitcoins are crashing when the value goes down like that.
9  Economy / Service Discussion / What's going on over at Bitmit.net? on: February 23, 2013, 10:27:44 AM
I've been selling some stuff at bitmit.net (http://bitly.com/VIrA2o(ref link, otherwise just go to bitmit.net)) but awhile ago there was some stuff going on and that they had sold the site etc. Now they're having alot of downtime and I've got like 0.5 btc stuck on the site. What's your theory? Are they going to turn to scam or will they try to keep up bitmits reputation?  Huh

Although this is very good to prevent spamming and scams, I think the support forum still should be open..

Lol. And have you make another account again? No thanks.

I've never been on this forum but I'm aware of that people scam people with this method, and that's why I fully respect if nobody want to loan me the BTC

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Can someone provide me with a loan? on: February 10, 2013, 10:23:33 AM
What is up guys? Aight so here's the deal, I need a loan of 5 BTC pretty urgently, however I've sold stuff on BitMit http://bitly.com/VIrA2o and I've got about 10 coins that will be released from escrow within a couple of days, so if you lend me 5BTC you will get 7.5BTC back when I get my money from BitMit. That's a 50% increase right away Smiley Also if you want to loan a lesser ammount since I don't have rep here you can loan me any ammount and I will give you a 50% increase on it, for example, you send me 1 BTC, and I send 1.5BTC back when I get the money.
