**Update on missing coins through Shared send**

Well after 2 weeks I have still not heard back from Blockchain.info support or Piuk. I saw Piuk logged in today but either ignored my message or chose not to take care of it.

~2 weeks ago I sent 75+ BTC through the shared send and only received half back....still have not heard from support at all or got my bitcoins. Both verified that 75BTC made it through to the shared address and only half went through, the remainder was moved out to other accounts after.

Pretty dissapointed with customer support at this point and I'm out $3500.

Glad to see things are being worked out

Still waiting to hear back from Piuk and/or support in relation to my missing BTC :/

I feel like a fool too!

My btc did make it through send shared within 2 minutes however it didn't show up in my wallet.  I had closed and reopened my walled app (multibit) and even "reset the blockchain and transactions" twice without the btc showing up in my wallet.

Today when I closed and reopened it the transaction was magically there.

Unfortunately that did not solve mine, but Piuk has responded and I have provided my information to hopefully sort out my missing BTC from the shared feature. I will keep this thread updated.

Chalk me up as another person who has had money stolen via the shared send feature. I lost 35BTC to shared send and it has been 3 days with no response from piuk or blockchain support...

This is not a case of a mistyped address or anything it has all been verified and half of my funds came through...Clearly there is something seriously wrong with the blockchain.info shared send/receive feature if 4 of us alone in this thread have had money stolen, one of them being over 200BTC.

Would be nice to get an answer.
6  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info (piuk) not responsive to anyone? send shared stealing money? on: July 26, 2013, 05:06:54 AM
10 days since I put in my zendesk support ticket and still "awaiting assignment to a support agent".

Wow this is ludicrous, Ive seen the remaining BTC move out of the shared address and the shared address is now gone from my account but nothing has shown up...

Currently out over 3k due to this "bug" or whatever it is....wish Piuk would have better customer service.

I am glad you got yours!  I keep seeing if it went in, it will come out eventually.  Unfortunately I'm still waiting.

I'm having the exact same issue missing almost 35BTC...only half came through the other side even though I can see that the full amount was sent with 80+ confirmations to the shared address. It's going on 48 hours now for me.Any update necomon?

I also have a ticket open with blockchain.info and have heard nothing.....
8  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info shared send problems! Solved! RECEIVED MY COINS AFTER 48 HOURS! on: July 25, 2013, 08:52:34 PM
I am having the same issue as well, it's been 48 hours and half of my coins have not made it through the mixer, starting to get very concerned....I can see that the full amount was sent to the shared address with multiple confrimations but after that nothing..
9  Economy / Web Wallets / blockchain.info shared receive question (missing coins) 0.25BTC bounty on: July 24, 2013, 09:34:32 PM
Recently had a transaction sent to my wallet via the shared receive address you can generate. Unknowingly to me the payment was sent in chunks, and the shared receive feature is only good for one transaction. I can see that the entire sum (60btc) was sent to the shared address, but I was only delivered approximately half.

Im curious how this plays out? Does blockchain.info just keep the rest, is it sent back to the issuing wallet? Is it eventually sent through to my destination wallet?

0.25BTC bounty for well informed answer.

Thanks for the feedback!

Should have posted earlier, EpisKing is the epitome of professionalism. Have done multiple 4 digit transactions with absolutely no issues at all.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Received transaction not confirming - 0.25btc bounty for help on: April 02, 2013, 02:20:21 AM
OP removed original transaction info:

tx: 4dd6dd583c9cb82c1f03ccfbd7b7982fbc593af82d3ee1c6243348d97678421c
35BTC
1Hv9Q3Vw6UP6DJNjKBk1DyxLrtr9YQ5jLV

I found this transaction in my logs:
CTxMemPool::accept() : accepted 4dd6dd583c (poolsz 698)

This transaction is not in my memory pool any longer. If you saw the payment immediately pop up in your Bitcoin client while it was running, and it still remains, you may be able to get some details from the tx data in the wallet with the console command:

gettransaction 4dd6dd583c9cb82c1f03ccfbd7b7982fbc593af82d3ee1c6243348d97678421c

You may be able to dump it also, which can be decoded to show the source of the funding:

getrawtransaction 4dd6dd583c9cb82c1f03ccfbd7b7982fbc593af82d3ee1c6243348d97678421c

If it is even wiped from your client upon restart, likely the sender has double-spent the funding inputs, causing it to be wiped from everyone's memory pools as invalid.

hey Deepceleron thanks for the info,

I've done a couple full restarts and it still shows in my Bitcoin-Qt client as Unconfirmed and existing. But does not show anywhere else.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Received transaction not confirming - 0.25btc bounty for help on: April 02, 2013, 02:00:23 AM
Is your client directly connected to the sender?
That may explain why you see it whereas it doesn't broadcast.

I'm wondering if that is starting happen for person-to-person transactions on -OTC.  For example, through IRC without cloaking someone would see your IP address, connect to you and send you a bogus valid transaction (but them make it bogus by broadcasting at the same a double spend to the rest of the network).   You see the transaction, send your money (e.g., Dwolla or whatever) and then that transaction never confirms.

If it definitely doesn't get included in a block you (and the sender) might want to delete the transaction from your wallet with pywallet

If it is an incoming transaction, then simply shutting down and restarting the app will cause it to disappear from the memory pool.

Yeah client has been shut down and restarted a few times, pretty scary that it doesn't show in unconfirmed.

May have been sent without enough fee

is it just a waiting game if theres lack of fee?

If it's just uncomfirmed should be here:
http://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

But it looks that isn't here...  Undecided

Well that's not good, is it just lost to the ether? or does it eventually return to the owner.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Received transaction not confirming - 0.25btc bounty for help on: April 02, 2013, 01:18:15 AM
First time this has happened,

received a payment of BTC over 4 hours ago and it is not showing up on blockchain.info and has 0/confirmations with no broadcasts:

client is up to date on all blocks with 8 active connections.

any ideas what the issue could be? 0.25btc bounty for any insight that helps.

keep in mind this is a receive not a send. using bitcoin-qt 0.8.0beta

Thanks

Update yet?

Seriously Piuk it's not hard to let us know what's going on with the anon sending/receiving? Why is it gone ? Will it be back?
