What's up with the odd number of coins?
Total amount of coloredchain tokens is 64,570,081,fixed.
• 52,947,466 (82%) for open ICO.
• 8,394,110 (13%) reserved for supporting third party DApps development and long term marketing of Foundation(Hold
by community).
• 2,582,803(4%) reserved for partners.
- Cloud service deployment
- Exchanges
- PR company
• 645,700(1%) for ICO bounty.
- 193710 for Bitcointalk signature campaign participants.
- 129140 for Coloredchain twitter followers.
- 129140 for joining Coloredchain facebook group/like.
- 193710 for local language translation and management.
We have to admit that the initial supply is defined randomly. It's just for defining the total amount,either 100M or 1Billion is okay.  The initial total supply will be changed from current 100 million to 64,570,081 to conform with Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER. With this change,there will be no more conversions needed from machine side of IOT area,decrease the burden,and will interactive well with machine built in JavaScript and framework,such as node.js . 1. Will you publish sources of core, wallet, tools on github before ICO ending? I also want to know what are you using for developing, I mean what language or languages you are using for core, wallets, tools, etc. 2. What do you plan to do with the BTC from ICO? 3. I want to see a detailed map (how much has already been done, what's planned: as example - developing tools - 95%, ready to use; trimming - 100%, mixing - 0%, etc). 4. What is the minimum required amount of investments to continue the work (as example 100 btc is minimum, including 2 years developening and some simple marketing)? 5. Why do you want to store hash of a sidechain (after trimming) in the main blockchain? Where I can read about what problems it solves? 6. Sorry for my poor English  Thanks,this is the first meaningful post after ICO starting. 1.Will release testnet most likely before ICO. Source will not be published within 3 months after mainnet alive to avoid fork. Java. 2.To mainly support third-party apps development with the original plan. Third-party apps can launch fund raise respectively. Several BTC raised until now,not enough to support other apps,so will be used as bounty for necessary tools,like faucet,explorer,and so on. 3.All listed features are almost completed except trimming, as trim will not be urgent at the beginning. All planned features have not started coding yet. 4.No a specific amount.The more raised,the more apps can be supported. 5.For validating the history tx of sidechains. (All tx on sidechains will be submitted to masterchain nodes for confirm,and will be trimmed periodically.) 6.This is a planned feature.All nodes are not archive activated by default. The archived data download will be with a torrent similar manner. 7.Yes.Colored Token Platform will be the only app supported "officially". |

Even though you list edoncoin on ICOcountdown.com for a long time,and delist it 1 day before it proved to be a scam. I still respect your works,please stick to yours so-called research. Another,I also read what you have discussed with elastic dev,this believed me that your works really are not RESEARCH. I see you follow me on Medium too? All explaination from Dev is so weakness, he isn't dare to open his identity or show his team detail information , but is dare to accpet 5000BTC.
Don't worry,there will be a trusted member standing as 'face' of CC soon. 5000BTC is just a maximum limitation,not goal. the only reason which can explain the colouredchain 's differrence, it is a scam just like edoncoin. deoncoin is a scam with Bittrex as escrow,isn't it? So,scam is scam,nothing with escrow or identity,but with project itself. And in fact if investors look into the whitepaper/details of edoncoin carefully,they can fully avoid such a 'disaster'. |

CC have nothing business with it. Can you at least show the profiles of the dev members on bitcointalk? As ttookk suggested,we most likely will consider this way soon. If what you are doing is illegal in your contry, maybe you could somehow find atrusted member of the bitcointalk-community and convince him_her to be the "face" of the whole thing? I know, it is much to ask, but maybe you already know someone?

Without any trusted escrow it would be really hard to get succeed, put escrow like Lisk and Waves it will make this project more attractive for big investors otherwise it smell fishy and looking like a scam project.
Yes. Share some points from our side, ICO is a way to distribute tokens rather than just for funding raise,especially for a PoS project. ICO with escrow can assure more fund raise like LISK or WAVES did,and certainly will be over speculative,speculation is inevitable,but over speculation is really not helpful to the development of CC,even harmful. Many PoS projects try to distribute tokens with different ways ,like NXT,IOTA,Ripple,Stellar,and so on,and all of them are successful. We set a max funding raise amounts to filter out over speculations,and without escrow to include real supporters and DApps enthusiasts as more as possible,build a real great community. We hope all of you can read the whitepaper carefully before investing,it's important. |
