why on claymore ethereum sometimes epoch is #4 #7 with 1GB DAG and sometimes is #150 with 2GB DAG ? This happen after ethereum hard fork. Sometimes gpu crash on dag epoch change.

my gigabyte rx 580 crash on claymore 10 and blockchain driver without msi ab. I use cvddc and mvddc for voltage settings which work fine without blockchain driver.
any idea when amd driver will release new version of blockchain ?

hello, can i change TDP on gpu with claymore or AB ?

i have modded my MSI rx 570 4gb GAMINING X Hynix and Elpida VRAM. This bios is for power safe mod with good hashrates and temperature.
Power draw in gpu-z is average 70-75, temp is 50-55 Celsius, and average hashrate is 28.3 - 28-5. You can overclock it to 29 with core clock - 1150, memclock 2020 and powerlimit to 80.

after updated with amd official blockchain driver i can't set clock and vddc with miner.  i had best settings for powerdraw and hashrate for my RX 580 Gigabyte gamining gpus with your miner with stable clocks and voltages before amd update. Now we have to use AB and then my power increase very high and clocks are unstable. when we will have update miner with fixed issued above ? Thanks in advance.

robin, i have rig with 8 gpus rx 580 gigabyte and test the driver. i use claymore v9.8 with clock and vddc settings without AB. after i update with fixed driver my hashrate drop down to  15 - 20 hash per cards. what would be the reason for this problem?

claymore ethereum v.8 and v.9 for some of my cards shows fan 0% or -1%. what is the problem. i uninstall MSI AB and the problem is the same.

use msi afterburner and see what is the clock of gpu and memory when mining of bad gpu. some reason to slow down is overheat and powerlimit control of gpu.
with afterburner software you can set fan settings to control the temperature and set powerlimit control. also to reduce the power consume undervolt to -70 -80 mV of GPU core and downclock the gpu core clock to 1100 Mhz.
i have the same problem with three new xfx rx480 gpus, but after slowdown the speed when mining crashed with grey or black screen. That was warranty issues and company change all of three cards.

hello guys,
this week i bought 6 gpus XFX 480 8GB 1288 Mhz. i flashed all to 2080Mhz VRAM and change timing setting from 1775 to 2000Mhz .
2 of this 6 cards freeze on grey or black screen after 2-5 minutes, sometimes shows up artefacts. i change windows, amd drivers and claymore versions and  the problem still exists.
after that i take one of this card to test on another computer, i put it on pci-e x16 slot to test. on benchmark there isnt a problem. only when i start mining.
after that i change bios switch to default, without deleting drivers, the memory clock change to 2000 Mhz and performance change to 22-23 Mhz in claymore. and again freeze on grey or black screen after a couple of minutes. all pc crash until restart. i found that two of this cards are version 1.5. another cards are 2.3.
any idea what is the problem and where i make a mistake.
the benchmark on gaming there isnt a problem. are these cards has defective memory.

witch intensity do you use for RX 480 8GB mod-ed with 1500 Hz timing for 2080 Hz VRAM ?

i wrote a time ago about my hashrate with claymore v6 of my rig of 6 xfx 480 8gb.  Now i start claymore v5 and i dont understand why miner reduce gpu core clock without set any gpu clock parameters or powerlimit.  this happen today and dont understand what is going on. claymore reduce core clock to 600-700 Mhz i have about 70H per gpu. I have another rig with two xfx rx 480 1300Mhz and there is not a problem. Core clock is permanent of 1300 Mhz and hashrate is 170H per gpu.

i have rig with 6 XFX 460 8GB and when i used claymore v6 hashrate was 150-160 per GPU and slowly after minutes the hashrate down to 120 per gpu. i tried to change intensity with no results. Any reason for this ?
In gpu-z i found that with claymore v6 my gpu core clock is used at 800-900 Hz. With claymore v5 gpu clock was at 1266 Hz .

what is the best CPU for mining with claymore v4 with 6 GPU RX480? I am not mining with cpu and it is load on 98% and all of my cards reduced hashpower to 55. When i mine only 2 the hashpower is 79 per GPU. CPU is Intel 1150s G1820 2.7Ghz only 2 logical cores. I mod my all RX 480 with only change memory timing.
