1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Palm Beach Confidential - December 2017 on: December 05, 2017, 03:11:03 PM
I still can't make my mind about about PBC, been following and looking into these guys quite a bit

Teeka the guy is a sweet talker, his use of language is very persuasive and entertaining reminds me of those websites where someone is really really trying to sell you things with the gift of the gab

Funniest thing was that once they held some sort of supposedly "Live Webinar" where they were going to reveal some Pick of the month coin

10mins into this webinar someone leaked the entire transcript word by word so the coin was revealed to be Ripple even the so called QnA where members was suppose to submit questions was scripted

Some of their testimonial videos too is bit strange too where some semi retired  couple somehow made 10000 $$$$ by subscribing to his products and following his calls and looking at the type of people in the video - one would question would these guys even know what an "Altcoin" is (But hey lets not be judgemental)

I follow them however i don't really buy into their calls as price just pumps once it leaks,

However though credit is they "Pick" good coins (Well known establish ones) and not just unknown coins no one has ever heard of

They are very sales oriented typical saleman type of people

I just follow them and watch with interest...

Although i passed on the ICO - did not bother investing i must say Electroneum have been excellent and proactive at providing updates which is really good and positive!

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bits to Freedom course anyone? on: November 06, 2017, 01:22:37 PM
Lifetime member here

My Views:

Signals ain't that great unfortunately he does provide a few signals per week but to be honest the percentage rate of success is quite low

However though i think the best thing about BTF is his videos where he does a market review as well as other topics related to trading - its very educational his stuff so i find him more of a "Good Teacher" than a "Good Signal Provider", his videos are very educational and informative and i have LEARNT a lot about it and how he conducts his trades

This is the Positive I have taken from it

I think the Monthly fee currently is around 0.068BTC or something.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Palm Beach Confidential October 2017 on: November 03, 2017, 09:13:39 AM
Well i had the fortunate or unfortunate pleasure of staying up till 2am last night seeing what this webinar was all about..

Basically the entire webinar was scripted, someone had leaked the entire transcript of the webinar 4mins into the start and the entire webinar was scripted word to word even the supposedly Public Q&A this was scripted too, doubt it was live seemed pre-recorded was just too perfect for it to be live.

So obviously the name of the coin was mentioned in the transcript and this is when Ripple started to pump a bit and people jumped into it to try and make a quick buck or so

it was only after 1 hour 7 mins that they got the to part where they mentioned this "Special Coin" so people were expecting it to pump even more..it didn't and fell back down again which begs the question did they really have many people tuning in as they claimed to say?

My Personal thoughts

- The entire webinar was very "Sales oriented" Typical Trying to sell you something - typical video testimonials with some semi retired couple supposedly making a killing in crypto (and looking at the type of people one would wonder whether they would even know what a "Blockchain is" LOL..

- the 1 million BTC giveaway by him was by my course for 2500 bucks and i will give you 200 bucks worth of bitcoin
- There was quite a bit of theory and discussion about crypto which was good and beneficial so learnt quite a bit here

Was it a waste of time? No I dont think so it was for me interesting in seem how they orchestrated this entire thing and of course those that wanted to make a quick buck or two in taking part of pumps probably did benefit it..

Mixed thoughts about this..still i am not convinced!

Pick a Coin - Write a massive article on its history, fundamentals, etc.etc... (with a really convincing sales pitch) which the report really does look like looking at the language used (Reminds me of those websites you see trying to sell you some E-book of some sort)

Somehow the "Report Gets leaked before it has been published" to the public or someone in their membership group who has paid 3k to access this report has leaked it
Repost on Reddit/4chan/Telegram etc

The Huge pumps begins...Everyone Jumps...Early adopters including the subscribers are the winners and rest get burnt!

Business at its finest!

I bought too got excess of over 1million + SC and my average break even is 566 Sats :| bought it around July time

Looking at the chart it hurts bad!

I am tempted to either

a) Buy more to bring my average down so i can try and either minimise my losses and exit quicker (Once price increases which no doubt i am confident it will)
b) Just wait and hope

I am probably going to do both, I see SC doing what DGB did last January completely flopped and went to a really all time low  for a few months- remember DGB at 20 sats last january 2017 before rallying to 2000+ few months later

I am in a position where i can afford to hold long term ( I am a long term holder for all my coins ) Held DGB for 15 Months and paid off really well in the end.

Tough i know and at times i have been tempted over the past few weeks to dump it all and try and recoup the losses by flipping on other coins, however though I have a lot to lose and not in a position for this to be a really bad trade

So I will just Hold Hold Hold till the price increases which i believe it will When is another question but i am prepared to wait another 6-10months with this coin lol

So for now i will accumulate more to try and bring my average down and hopefully once i hit breakeven and my average or bit above then i will exit

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HALAL] HALAL Coin for 1.5 Billion Muslims.... [ICO just started ] on: August 03, 2017, 11:54:20 AM
Interesting project

Aside from the stupid comments like Bigotted racists ignorants like BitPotus why idiots like these people should comment on this is beyond me..really comments like that are uncalled for especially since this forum is Crypto and we are all in it together..I dont see the need of insulting religions..anyway kids will be kids...let them bark like crazy Kalb dogs Smiley

Project is interesting however the fact that you mentioned that people who write anti-isis type posts you will reward them?

A good suggestion is that extend this to like a community based rewards system so any nice articles of Dawah, or anything whatsoever allow the community to upvote for it and if it reaches a certain threshold reward them with the coins..this concept could further encourage good material in the community

Infact this model can apply to any audience not necessarily Muslims

Limiting it to the creators to assign the rewards is not a good idea because generally its one sided opinions

If you can create a community and allow people to upvote certain articles posts then it will work well so the concept and idea is good and could work if done well..

Once done login to bittrex generate a Particl address and send to there

I'm over getting "Too excited when its all green" and "too depressed when its all red" I have become heartless due to crypto  Grin

'Too excited when its all green and too depressed when its all red' < well, understandable but this...

'i have become heartles due to crypto' < i thought you're 'excited when it's green and too depressed when it's all red',doesn't that mean you're trading with your emotion instead of emotionless ?  Huh Huh

don't tell me it's impact due to Segwit and Hardfork ?
Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

PS: guys, everybody have their opinion and we should respect them.why bothering yourself for unnecessary action such as arguing and barking ? peace is beautiful my friend (i don't want to quote anybody, but if you see this please consider it)

lol i mean been in crypto now for around 16 months and so used to up and downs that i have become numbed to any changes be it red or green  Grin

Before in the early days when its all green really excited and when it was all red felt sad this was during my early days of crypto trading..once you been doing it for a while you desensitized !

If their website was indeed using wordpress and it got modified via a wordpress exploit - then perhaps the dev team may consider using "Wordpress Revision History" Function to see "Which wordpress user modified it" along with the "Timestamp" (assuming it was done via wordpress admin) and post the result here as a result of their findings, and for the "Page to Change" immediately after it was launched again this seems very strange as it would seem if they claimed it was an outsider that did it, they must have been fully aware of the exploit and no doubt they must have Tested it beforehand knowing what to change, again this can all be found in the Revision history through wordpress....

Changing text on a wordpress page (in this case the ETH address), one would simply do it via Wordpress admin panel, doing it via scripts or exploits or modifying the database would take 10x longer!

next question that will fuck you...
if you are collecting just 80000 ether what u make with the rest of the token that dont sell? oh im sure u will dump them after the ico at any exchange

if most tokens bought without bonus u will have at end over 100.000.000 tokens over

Oh..you keep getting better.....the sale is not over until all coins are sold or 28 days will pass.

Why don't you contact me in PM and we will settle a bet about which one of the above will come sooner .....

I knew I shouldn't have invested when i saw the above using a representative account for a personal pissing contest.  Fuck you.

Personally any "Representatives" involved with any coins with response such as above or acting Immature and Childish i'd stay well clear away from it.

A decent project, one would expect before parting your money, you would expect some sort of professionalism from them, if the reps themselves make stupid comments and / or act childish or immature this is a warning sign for me to stay clear. Can you really trust Immature people.

Very interesting project  Grin
As someone in the Media Industry there is just a few things I hope you don't mind clarifiying

- How will you protect copyright material and infringment?
Anyone can just pass themselves off to be an artist and upload tracks belonging to other artists..and claim it is for them

How will you protect these artists and what measures you have in place to verify those making the copyright claims are actually genunine..

Also in the event of this happening and say the real artist discovers that their material is being used by someone else several months later and revenue has been generated..would there be anyway of
a) Claiming the revenue back
b) Finding out the identities of those that have "Stolen" material and passed it on as theirs

Just this little bit if you can clarify would be great

apart from that excellent project

Loss from Top of Profit - Yes

but loss from overall investment - no not yet I am still in profit (So i can't really complain too much at this stage because i have still made profit and its money that i've never seen in my life before)

Not panicking though im hopeful Smiley
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SC coin keep dumping - :( on: July 10, 2017, 08:55:47 PM
I'd chill with SC..i got quite a bit of investment in SC and yeh in major loss at the moment lol

HOWEVER though...I rode through the DGB being dumped down from 150 to 18 sats earlier this year then shooting back up to high

I am confident that SC will bounce back, when is another question and who knows but willing to hold it out!

19  Economy / Exchanges / UK Users - Anyone used "Circle" to withdraw BTC to GBP? on: April 13, 2016, 09:21:04 PM
Hi

I am from UK and currently i am purchasing BTC via Coinbase at the moment, seems easy for me for the time being

The issue with coinbase at the moment is that if i wanted to transfer my BTC to a UK Bank account at present it seems coinbase doesnt support this so instead need to go through SEPA bank account which i believe you need to convert your BTC in coinbase to a EUR Wallet then withdraw it from there and I am not entirely sure what the fees are taking into considerations exchange rates and everything else (There maybe other services out there but i just thought id stick to coinbase for now as i'm a newbie to all this)

I came across Circle recently in the news
www.circle.com

Thought i would sign up and give them a try

has anyone had experience with them  yet?

So i planned the following:

Send BTC from coinbase to my Circles account which seems to work
Then From Circles account withdraw directly to my UK Bank account

So i decided to test it out

So from my Coinbase account i sent about £0.50 Worth of Bitcoin (0.00167 BTC) to my Circle Account (Took around 45mins to arrive)
So at this point my Circles balance was showing exactly "£0.50"
I then went to do Cash out which was withdrawing that money to my bank account which i signed up using a debit card and the fees was FREE

Obviously this is a very little amount but has anyone tried it with larger amounts and if so is there any fees?
