1  Economy / Reputation / Re: MISTAKE: I got a negative trust for doing NOTHING! on: November 12, 2016, 06:11:18 PM

I think the OP tried to make it look like this, but does know very well whats wrong.

I do not quite understand what you mean by that sentence.
What exactly is wrong in chatting with people when nobody ever complained that I asked for anything?

Your "Daist14" posts (that led to this discussion) are consistently moments apart.
You are not (previously) "chatting" as claimed, you are flying from thread to thread, 1 post and gone.
"chatting" implies continued response/debate. (please do not start "chatting" with your other accounts)

I had to move from thread to thread because when you are in a signature campaign, you try to cover as many sections as you possibly can and you can't tell me it's wrong to do so.

I got this quote from Meta.
Topic: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.

I have not broken the rule on this forum by having multiple accounts. MPREP who is ALSO A STAFF has made this absolutely clear in Meta.

I did not buy the account since any mod can verify the password has never changed.

So why is Lauda picking this up?

Attacking someone for multiple accounts is AGAINST the official rules of this forum as stated by MPREP himself, please remove the negative trusts. I did not try to scam anyone.

Anyway, do have a nice day.

I have some things I will like to attend to at the moment.
3  Economy / Reputation / Re: MISTAKE: I got a negative trust for doing NOTHING! on: November 12, 2016, 09:53:41 AM

Just because you do not agree with what I wrote does not mean it's not in line with the topic.

....
2) Attacking me.

I am not attacking you, whatever happened to freedom of speech?
4  Economy / Reputation / Re: MISTAKE: I got a negative trust for doing NOTHING! on: November 12, 2016, 09:39:42 AM
Please elaborate more on when a post is considered "SPAM"
Is it when it is in fast successions or when it is off-topic?

Because if you read the threads where I posted, I did not discuss anything that is not in line with the topic...
So why are you discussing a ban?

Not that anything will happen if I stop visiting bitcointalk.org
I will simply move on with my life... life goes on.

And since I have done no harm to anyone, my conscience is clear.
5  Other / Meta / Re: Wings Spammers on: November 12, 2016, 09:24:42 AM
What exactly is "Shit posting"?
Just because I did not write an essay does not mean what I wrote is off-topic - if you read the threads, you will observe my posts are not off-topic.
If they were off-topic, they would have been deleted.

You don't have to write an essay to make sensible contributions.

Are all posts supposed to be long in order not to fall into the "Shit post" category?

Kindly define "Shit Posting".
6  Economy / Reputation / Re: MISTAKE: I got a negative trust for doing NOTHING! on: November 12, 2016, 07:24:25 AM
When the quality degrades.

I mostly post in the Altcoin section where people talk about their favorite coins. How can you say my post is low-quality just because I am give my opinion in a sentence?

Interestingly it took you longer to post here, probably because you actually want to discuss something now.
No, I was waiting to read people's responses.

So you log in every few days and read the backlog of the threads you posted in within a minute? Its a discussion(!) board. You do not engage in discussions, you post in threads where you can get away with posting your opinion in a sentence or two without giving it any weight.

I open more than three windows on my browser, go to my favorite sections (which is altcoins) and chat with people.
What is wrong with that? Huh

You are not labelled as a scammer - you are labelled as untrustworthy by Lauda.  You don't need to interact with someone to not trust them.

What did I do to be labelled as "Untrustworthy"?
Do people become "Untrustworthy" for posting fast??? Huh Huh

Lauda believes that its a way to clean up the forum.

I don't think it's right to give negative trusts to people who did not do anything wrong to anybody.

Spamming is when you write posts that are off-topic.

Can you identify which post of mine is off-topic?

Just because I post fast does not mean I am spamming...

When did fast posting = Spam?

I only make 10 posts/day about thrice a week, making about 30 posts/week - is it spam just because I type fast?

I HAVE NEVER AT ANY TIME ASKED FOR ANYTHING FROM ANYBODY ON THIS FORUM, why should I be labeled a scammer?
8  Other / Meta / Re: Wings Spammers on: November 12, 2016, 05:54:30 AM
What's up with the hard feelings? It's just two people conversing, not two people pointing knives at each other Huh

Besides, I do other things during the day so I have to take some time out to post here on the forum.

I do not spam because if you check, I do not post on a daily basis and 10 posts/day cannot be called spamming.

You can't blame people for making fast posts, you have no idea what their daily schedule is like, provided they are not posting off-topic.
9  Economy / Reputation / Re: MISTAKE: I got a negative trust for doing NOTHING! on: November 12, 2016, 05:24:51 AM
Are you a mod?
Because having a farmed account is not illegal on the forum.
Writing one-liners that make sense is not illegal either.
And what is your definition of "Recycled Post"? Because I did not recycle my post or anyone else's

It is not wrong to insert a quote either.

And whoever said you will get a negative trust for "Spamming"?

If I were actually spamming then my posts will get deleted - which is not the case here.
10  Economy / Reputation / MISTAKE: I got a negative trust for doing NOTHING! on: November 12, 2016, 05:00:49 AM
This topic is for the mods. I woke up this morning to find a negative trust on my account that shows up in the Altcoin section when I have NEVER

1. Done any trade on this forum
2. Borrowed money from anyone
3. Asked anybody to do anything for me
4. Asked anything from anybody

I mean what did I do to deserve a negative trust?

Who did I try to scam? Check my posts. This is amazing!

And I am enrolled in a signature campaign. I could get banned for something that is not my fault.

I mean what exactly did I do?Huh Huh
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Trump presidency may turn out beneficial for Bitcoin long term on: November 10, 2016, 05:16:11 PM
Trump is definitely aware of bitcoin, he received some campaign donations in bitcoins.

There is even an altcoin named Trumpcoin - don't know if he is actually affiliated to the coin. Undecided
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Poloniex a safe heaven for your digital currencies? on: November 10, 2016, 05:14:53 PM
Should Poloniex close down - which is highly unlikely - they would find a way to repay all their customer's funds.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to get started on learning how to trade? on: November 10, 2016, 05:12:41 PM
OP should just hang around this forum for like a month or two especially in the Trading and Altcoin sections. He will learn a lot.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does trump or hillary winning affect the Bitcoin industry? on: November 10, 2016, 05:11:42 PM
If Trump is able to create more jobs in the US hence devaluing YEN, then that is more good news for bitcoin. More demand from China drives up the price.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: In need of TBC. the billion coin on: November 10, 2016, 05:10:51 PM
OP should just go to coinmarketcap.com, it contains all the altcoins. Type TBC in the search bar and it will show up, click on "Markets" and you will get a list of all the exchanges trading the coin.
It's safer buying TBC from an exchange.
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to...do these for Bitcoins? on: November 10, 2016, 05:10:04 PM
Seeing that OP is a newbie, how much does he know about bitcoins because most of the writing gigs on this forum are bitcoin-related.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Trump or Clinton >>Your Vote Counts<< on: November 10, 2016, 05:05:41 PM
I also believed Clinton will win, at first I thought the election must have somehow been rigged for Trump to win. Undecided
18  Other / Meta / Re: Wings Spammers on: November 10, 2016, 05:05:16 PM
Not necessarily scam - mods might be unable to keep up with the rapid way people post on the forum.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Alternative energy on: November 10, 2016, 05:02:11 PM
We use green energy in my country - hydroelectricity and it is cheap enough, though it could be cheaper than it currently is given the right circumstances.
20  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why PayPal does not like BitCoin sellers? on: November 10, 2016, 05:01:04 PM
With the tight control PayPal has, lots of people would migrate from PayPal to bitcoins. They had better learn to work with bitcoins if they do not want to go out of business eventually.
