1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) on: April 17, 2013, 12:02:03 PM
It is strange to seek cryonic, and stranger still the opposition to cryonic.

This is so inspirational. Even if bitcoin doesn't make it, this story will live on forever! Satoshi changed the world! Everyone is talking about money now!
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox withdrawal delay - processed but no BTC yet on: April 12, 2013, 02:01:07 PM
There's been some discussion on this in the #mtgox IRC channel.

Things are moving but there's a backlog.

Apparently you can get the data from this URL if it hasn't been sent within 2 hours : https://data.mtgox.com/api/0/bitcoin_tx.php

And then rebroadcast/push the transaction using this URL : http://blockchain.info/pushtx

Mine hasn't showed up in the API link yet so I can't test it.

Some users said it's working ok after a multiple hour delay.

You guys are so screwed.

Am I the only person who thinks these attacks are fantastic? It's free publicity. And it Highlights the need for MORE LIQUIDITY.

6  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockBet.net - BTC Sportsbook - No account needed, bets up to 10 BTC accepted on: March 24, 2013, 09:01:43 PM
all square thanks buddy... ya i derped thought i bet .2 and i had made a transaction at .2 but it was something different thanks alot. sry for wasting ur time lol

Don't worry about it, it happens, and I'm glad we got it resolved. All winning bets paid, right now I'm gonna have a small break and then get to work on today's NCAA games.

I think I put a decent scare into you with Temple. Oh well, still got the points.

8  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockBet.net - BTC Sportsbook - No account needed, bets up to 10 BTC accepted on: March 22, 2013, 10:04:13 PM
Yo, is there a way you can add a feature so someone could check their bets after you take the lines off?

Well, not easily anyway. Plus I don't want to keep a database on our customers even if all the bets can be found on the blockchain. But I'll keep that request in mind.

I guess that I'm the only one losing.  Angry

Sorry to hear that, but I guess the wins don't distribute evenly. Yesterday there were a lot of bets on the longshot underdogs, but not much luck with them... Except the 76ers probably should have won that game with 13.13 (+1213) odds. Not gonna lie, there was a lot of money on that game. I had some trouble getting sleep after it. Never seen anything like that before, Denver made 3 free throws with 2 seconds remaining to come from behind to win the game after Philly had missed two.

some lines on the world cup qualifiers today would be nice. At least the "big" teams any how.

Pretty busy with March Madness and all, but I did put a couple of the more interesting games up on our Bundesliga page. Hope you'll find your game there. Sorry that today's games won't be more extensively covered.

Yeah I have been just a huge loser with you guys. I was all over the underdogs so, you're very welcome. I got suckered in again tonight. Unfortunately your line for Northwestern State was 20. Y'all have been shading the favorites it seems.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockBet.net - BTC Sportsbook - No account needed, bets up to 10 BTC accepted on: March 18, 2013, 10:57:21 AM
First of all, congrats to the winners. One of those days when almost every bet was a winner... Clippers, Timberwolves and Lakers were pretty good for the players yesterday.

I think it's normal to be a bit worried about every new Bitcoin business, so that's why it's good to look around for any customer comments and maybe start with a smaller amount. We get a lof of bets each day and especially on the weekends there are games being played pretty much around the clock, so that's why there are sometimes delays in payouts. Typically all NBA and NHL games will be graded a few hours after the last games have finished, so it can all be done in one sitting. Some games will be graded earlier if possible, always within 12 hours of the end of each game.

March Madness should be live tomorrow when the games start Smiley

Btw, BB, I have some comments about your site's code? What would be the best way to contact you about that? PM?

I'll send you a PM. Interested to hear what it is. Probably the quickest way to reach me is through PM for any questions or comments.

Get those CBB lines up quick! Other shops are ahead of you! Should've been up last night!

Does say beta for a reason!

Yes I was disappointed with this game. I have played twice and both bets I didn't get to see anything. The free money click did work though! lol

14  Economy / Gambling / Re: Virtualminer.eu - Virtual Mining game and Exchange on: March 12, 2013, 10:36:44 PM
This sounds like a super cool concept. Too bad it looks like such a BORING game. Virtual mining? Why not have virtual dish washing?
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITLOTTO] Mar 1 draw over $1500 or 50BTC! Tickets now 0.1 BTC for Apr 5 on: March 07, 2013, 12:53:56 PM
Calm down.  It takes a while Smiley but it always pays.

It's March 7th for crying out loud. Frankly, I think it's scummy that he's already taking action on next month's lottery when he can't even be bothered for over a week to pay out last month's draw. There is no way I'm playing this lottery again.
16  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Soft block size limit reached, action required by YOU on: March 07, 2013, 12:49:10 PM
I lost a lot of money today because of this shit. And I don't care for satoshi dice. Let them move to litecoin or ban them from spamming the network and my harddrives.

If bitcoin miners can't handle one high frequency gambling game, bitcoin is totally fucked.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITLOTTO] Feb draw over! Next draw Mar 1! on: March 07, 2013, 04:37:10 AM
Please stand by for results.

Next draw is April 5. Note that tickets are now **0.1** BTC each!!!!

Probably should be 0.05 each instead so that those that habitually bet 0.25 without checking will get a full 5 tickets instead of "2.5 tickets".  You are going to keep the extra 0.05 (?) or you will have to manually refund it to people who do that.
I'll just refund. I hope not too many people make that mistake.

I'm inclined to think you have stolen the jackpot. What kind of respectable lottery takes this long to pay out? This is a joke right?
18  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: March 06, 2013, 04:39:11 PM
Congratulations, 90% of people who invested in S.DICE barely broke even or made a loss.

How do you work that out! The Mpex dividend was 0.00013242 per share, passthroughs 95% of that.
The current bid on MPEx is 0.00350001. IPO was 0.0032 to 0.0037. I wasn't factoring in dividends, but many people brought it at 0.004s, 0.005s or even 0.008s.

Regardless, looking at USD terms it's not that bad of an investment.

People would have been much better off sticking with bitcoin. You eliminate all BTC appreciation with S.Dice.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITLOTTO] Mar 1 draw over $1500 or 50BTC! Tickets now 0.1 BTC for Apr 5 on: March 06, 2013, 08:13:15 AM
Frankly, it is unacceptable to have to wait this long. Especially with no updates from you. Having to ask is not ideal; you should have updated on bitlotto.com

I am never playing your lottery again as of now.
