This is what I would like answered  I believe Vinny describes Civic as a user verification system whereby NO user data is stored anywhere other than your phone/device. And in the case of apple Iphone in the Secure Enclave? I see that https://app.civic.com stores user data including your social security number. All with no complex password restrictions nor a required multifactor authentication. What gives? Thank You |

Hi folks. I'm looking at mining ETC on my Mac OSX desktop but I know nothing. If anyone can link me a dummies guide to installing a miner on my Mac that'll start mining ETC, I would be greatly appreciative  I gather this is what I'm looking for? ETC tap for OSX homebrew |

It's quite a shame though. The Maxcoin team doesn't respond to anything, expects absolute novices to know how to work around their wallet syncing problems and it's founder forgets it like an ADHD sufferer.
What founder? If you are referring to Keiser, he has nothing to do with this abomination. I am. He has something to do with it. Much like PirateMyFilm and Startjoin, he is the public face. |

I gave up and fired up the PC, backed up the .dats onto USB, DVD.

Remember Piratemyfilm? That's ditched. I wouldn't be surprised if Maxcoin will be or isn't already.

I've got the OSX Macoin wallet and it is still stuck on 'No block source available'. How long should I leave it until it gets a successful connection?
And if i do have to change anything, that would be my main gripe. For those who aren't savvy about the technicals, it should already be working without any changes.
That's what the problem is. The MAX wallet for OSX has issues. It was supposed to be updated but it's almost a month now. Anyone? Ah, right-right-right Bloody hell. This was the issue before the update as well, which you might be well aware too. What's the go, MaxcoinProject? |

Geezus christ  There's just no point in investing in anything but Bitcoin and Litecoin. Every other promising coin turns to shit. The best tip is to get in as an early adopter and dump during the first pump wave. Then it'll turn to shit. But there's no point in selling $80 worth now  |

Pretty obvious you target customer who only do small volume.
Hard to see any merchant/trader who do big volume want to pay 2% fee on a supposedly mark up/down price.
If I were coinjar, I would be extremely careful on customers who deposit in large amount of money. These group of people are usually fraudster who can't find a way to cash out on account they manage to steal or buy on darknet.
What I would suggest is to contact Coinjar themselves to ascertain what can be done for high volume clients. |

It's pretty obvious Zhou Tong wants to steal more BTC because his site got "hacked". I've been here since early 2012.

And yet no evidence anything of that nature has occurred at Coinjar.io Or that he "stole" to begin with. Rather a very miscalculated move into Bitcoin beforehand. Your choice dude, I'm getting direct deposits in... |

i have been thinking bout using this site any scam alerts here?  have messaged support and all seems on the up and up  Erm, it has SSL & Two factor authentication. No, not from what I and others have experienced. It's a startup with Angel Investor funds. |

Coin jar is good for me. Have used several times with no problems. Quick turn around. My limit is now up to $900/day. Depends how much you after I guess. Just my thoughts.
Yeah $200-300 *per day* is usually for the average Joe. I haven't used their merchants services but I'm kinda itching to incorporate bitcoin into a vending machine business I wish to establish. But I doubt I could do this. I have to raise $5,000AUD to buy coffee & popcorn machine from the vending company and they source, place & give a 1/3 cut to the property owners. And they're certainly not the machines to have bitcoin payment capability So I'm hoping my investment in LTC rises enough to get to $5K. |

Mid july now and still no further word? I think July is looking unlikely, or they would have given a release date by now surely? Mind you they never said definitely July in the first place, just they were "looking at July". Non the less it IS coming, so hold onto your hats! They better. This wait is killing me  |
