Your words is kind of confusing, because there's no such thing as 100% winning probability when it comes to gambling. No matter how good a team against the worst team is in sports betting. The possibility of upset are just around the corner. I don't think you're new to gambling, and I think you're completely aware of it. I think you're just a bit upset and frustrated about the result as you overestimated your bet.

We need the be very realistic in this regards, we gamblers comes into gambling with the aim to make money from our winnings, but then we have to abide by the reall realities which is that as much as you win, you also lose also so gambling is a two way thing, as we gamble to make money so also are the casino in the business to make money also.
The casino makes more money and win more frequently than the gamblers though lol. When we gamble, the chances for us to lose is greater than winning. That explains why casinos and any other gambling business are sustainable. The more gamblers playing, the more profit the casino gets. Gamblers who makes profit in constantly gambling is rare to find.

- How do you know you are addicted to gambling
- How easy it is to be addicted to gambling?
- Can an addicted gambler work himself out of that addiction without help from anyone, if yes, is it still addiction?
- In most cases, a gambling addict doesn't know that he already is addicted as he think he's still capable of controlling his financials. - It is easy, like you didn't noticed. You only do, when it's too late. - Definitely! Nobody can help us out of the misery but ourselves. No matter how many people shared an advice with you, they won't matter when you're not ready to make changes for yourself. So, yeah, it's only ourselves who can make things right, including gambling addiction.

Question is : Do you feel that you aged fast because of gambling, or do you feel young and vigorous because you are a responsible gambler?
IMO, gambling doesn't have direct effect on your physical appearance or how you aged. First, it's genetic and second factor is lifetyle. If you gamble, drink, and do drugs, you'll probably get look older faster. If you're overworked and financially stress, that too could be factor. They say gray hair is a result of being overworked and over stressed.

Just as the title already said it, does your instincts influence your gambling decision?
Yeah, most of the time. Instincts are somehow part of the things when we place our bets. Even in sports betting. No matter how you analyzed the match-up, there are always thoughts about possibilities. Especially when the odds are too attractive, it is inevitable not to think about the possibilities, considering how the bookies end up with such odds. So, in this situation, your instinct will be at play, and it could be a game-changer or bad luck for you. After all, gambling is not guaranteed.

People often say that gambling is full of men. But I have seen women be addicted to gambling as well. Older women spend their remaining time in bingo places. You will often see grandmothers playing cards or mahjongs. Some daughters will even say they learned from their mothers. So I am surprised to see when people say they are only recently seeing women around gambling. Is it a cultural thing? Are women from specific cultures more prone to gambling?
Not a cultural thing, definitely not. Gambling is for everyone. It is not gender-limited, so that's not gonna be the case. I think the main reason why you will only see a few women in a casino is that, like you said, it is full of men. Some women may have been easily intimidated around men in places like casinos. Some women even think it is unethical for a woman to gamble, and they think it's a normal trait of a man to gamble. These are just some of the misconceptions about women who gamble.

does the comfort of a casino add to how much you want to gamble? i have been thinking that the services of a casino to make you feel as comfortable as possible are they only tactics to keep you in longer inside the casino and spend more?
but what about those not so expensive casino or betting sites? there’s usually no air conditioning unit, it’s small and cramped but there are still people who go there to bet maybe because the desire to bet is higher than their desire for comfort
is comfort a big deal to you when gambling?
Depends on the primary goal of a gambler. Those who seek to have fun with gambling will always choose to go to a casino where they are comfortable. Majority of the rich people go there because the ambiance matches the comfort they are looking for in the casino. While those desperate gamblers who are trying to make a living out of it can be found in a crappy casino or a gambling place where you can find a lot of shady people.

For real, I’ve been there too. In my years of playing, earlier this year was the worst experience for me, and that came after a long break from gambling. I started again maybe in the 3rd or 4th quarter of last year, and things got out of control earlier this year. Thankfully, I’ve managed to get out of that situation, and I definitely don’t want to go through it again. Taking a break is the best thing to do if you’re losing control or if you feel like you might. Although we play for profit, we should always remember that gambling isn’t a substitute for a real source of income.
I'm so sorry about what happened to you It's something that can happen when there's no strict control , and it's because things in gambling can happen that way, since it's a casino, It's the adrenaline and many emotions that make us make mistakes Money is what we must control the most because it's the most important factor, It would be good for you to take another break, but next time you play, do so with more peace of mind. We are quick to always say that our losses are promoted by emotional instability resulting in the release of adrenaline and dopamine. Those are factors that makes you more hooked to gambling but this doesn't mean that you cannot be in control over your actions. If you are disciplined then we don't have to worry about being controlled by it. Its about having limits and gambling responsibly I think it's all about self discipline. Without it, things like being addicted or frequent gambling resulting to losses is bound to happen. It doesn't matter where you stand in your financial capabilities, once you're hooked up you will gonna face consequences emotionally and mentally. I've seen middle class people went broke, and poor people went worse.

I am curious what is the one thing that you will never bet with? I am not talking about life because I think almost everyone will say that already but instead I am talking about other things. Like your house, your car or maybe some weird thing like your favorite shirt or the mug your father gave you. Those kinds of things. It would be interesting to see how people value different things within the metrics of gambling.
Well, I will not put a bet on something that doesn't make me have fun while on the process. Like the things you have mentioned, or some other random stuff that comes out from a bored man's brain lol. I'd also don't bet on something that are offensive to someone or the group of people, like religion and other beliefs. I mean like placing a bet on who's going to be the next Pope.

Anyone who watched NBA for the last 5 years would think Kawhi could win anyone a ring. Sure he went from winning a title to Clippers, and at that point you may think that was possible. But, it's only acceptable to think it was possible back then, ever since then, he has been injured and not playing many games, and specially in important ones.
So when you have a super star, that can make you go to playoffs barely, and he doesn't even play enough to make that happen? It's clear that Clippers are not going to benefit from him. I am going to make it public and say that Kawhi will not get a max contract ever again after this one is done. He is officially a veteran minimum player, no longer going to make a dime more than that.
Leonard five years ago and now are two different players, so to speak. Although he also missed a lot of games five years ago, he was in his prime. But in recent seasons, his statistics have declined significantly, and objectively speaking, he is now overrated. I mean that his current contract, worth $50 million per season, is unreasonably high. Yes, I do agree that he is overrated now, he haven't had any full blown season since his championship run with the Raptors if I'm not mistaken. But then again, the Clippers might still think that Kawhi can be their franchise player, hence they keep on extending him with huge contract while letting go of Paul George. After the Raptors, Leonard's career have just went straight to being a mediocre player. I guess, everyone will agree that he's now overrated. He have done nothing after winning with the Raptors. Missing a lot of games which is very vital to their team as a preparation for the playoffs, but they fail miserably over and over again. The Clippers should look for a legitimate franchise player. Leonard is not that person obviously, and he's near retirement.

This game is basically Russian roulette. 1 bullet to end your life and the other 5 in the chambers are empty. But, this one have 7 options, and that makes the risks of getting killed is lesser. However, I wouldn't even risks my life for some extra cash. I probably still have plenty of years left. I may not be able to earn those figures, but my life is just priceless lol.

Basically this is a small list of rules, that will help you especially if you are just starting your way in gambling. You can add rules from your experience to this list, it will be welcomed.
Speaking from a wider range people will always neglect the basic rules in gambling due to one things or the other either they are after a win or they are chasing losses but what I think is more important and should be the number one priority or basic necessity in gambling is having self discipline. When you have that you can set a bankroll and follow it up and also stick to the appropriate do's and don't of gambling. I don't see any problem with gamblers who are after a win. In fact, that's what we're all after when gambling. As long as you have full control over your bankroll and spending, then you'll be fine throughout your gambling habit. While chasing losses is most of the time the worst way of losing more. It has already been proven many times that this kind of strategy does not work 9 out of 10 times. Some people did worse by increasing the bet amount.

when we talk about politicians who were exposed for their crazy gambling habits we tend to talk about corruption but let us talk about hypocrisy in the philippines, the government is trying to lower the rates of where the filipinos gamble especially in online spaces but what does it say if the very politicians trying to push for fighting against gambling are also the ones exposed for playing? is it not ironic? ? I think the recent discovery about the gambling habits of those involved in the current corruption issues in the Philippines is not limited to politicians. Because those who got exposed are government employees, but in higher ranks. They too are not allowed to gamble, so they fake their identities. I'm unsure whether it will impact the ongoing regulations in the Philippines' gambling industry. I guess casinos should also conduct a background check on the people who deal with significant amount through gambling. Those government employees spend around $100k every time they go to the casino, and those are some fraud money.

I just saw this one and I am really amaze on what he did. A casino guest just won over $1.3 million… and the first thing he did? Call his mom. At FireKeepers Casino in Michigan, the guest hit the venue’s largest jackpot ever. But instead of celebrating alone, he grabbed his phone and told his mom: “Momma, we are out of the hood. We’re leaving tomorrow.” That emotional call went viral because it wasn’t about luxury, it was about finally giving his family a safer, better life. Sometimes the biggest wins aren’t about money, they’re about the people you love most. 1.3 MILLION Casino WinI saw that story too, and I'm kinda happy that the first person he decides to celebrate with is his mother. I don't know how much he has lost before that big win, but I wish he wouldn't gonna come back gambling with a huge bag. The casino will most likely take it back slowly before he realizes it. The best thing to do is to settle down and build a sustainable business and avoid spending too much in gambling.

Yes, he was like doing exhibition fights and have a schedule fight this December. And for sure he could have been starting his training and prepping his body for that. So this news was really surprising to hear. He admitted that he has mental issues and deal with drugs because of his lost to Manny. But that was years ago and was able to face it already. I do agree that he should be honor in is town of Manchester as he brings proud to that city. I remember his fight with Floyd and Manny, wherein there was thousands of fans reportedly flying from Manchester to the US and you can see during the weigh-in as they all sang. I didn't know he have upcoming exhibition match. The last time I saw him he is not in a good shape to have one. Well, if that exhibition fight takes place, that could definitely trigger something about what ever is the cause of his death. His loss to Pacquiao was devastating, but he shouldn't have ruined himself by abusing drugs. I'm not sure if he's aware, but a boxer:s body can decline faster than a normal person. I mean their body have taken a lot of beating. Their heads received a lot of hard blows.

Noticed how the big teams always seem to get the soft whistles or no-calls when it matters? Like Lakers for instance in the NBA (where Lebron is playing) or, even in local leagues. Sometimes it looks too obvious, like the refs just lean their way cause the league can’t afford for the stars to be out early.
LOL! are you serious? Since you mentioned the name LeBron. Let's go back to his rookie years and the years he was unstoppable with the Cleveland Cavaliers. I challenge you to watch every game he played and count how many uncalled fouls was there. I think you're one of the old school peps who think LeBron can't play in the 90's. Well, let me tell you this. The reason why LeBron flopped so hard in the 2010's because he's so strong that the refs can't even determine whether he is fouled or not. So, LeBron thought, he'd sell every contact that the refs should notice when he attacked the rim.

A friend of my who has being a gambler and has being known for winning reasonable amount at least twice a year, I don't know how he does it.
Just be consistent and spend more and you'll see it happening to you lol. Anyway, the story sounds like a scene to a movie to me. Can't imagine how bothering it is for he neighbourhood. Anyways, there are people who can't contain their joy win they achieve something. May it be financially or any other form of success. The only thing time it goes wrong is when you posted it online and announce it to the world. Not all of your success is meant to be shared. Other wise, you'll put yourself or even your love ones at risks. Especially the money from gambling.

If I am being honest, the main reason I gamble is because of the excitement it brings. There is this kind of rush you feel when you place a bet, not knowing if it is going to swing your way or not, that moment of suspense alone is addictive in its own way. Sometimes it is not even about the money, it is more about the feeling you get when a prediction actually lands, like you outsmarted the odds. That little taste of victory keep me coming back, even though i know losses are also part of the game..
I partly agree to this. Sometimes, it isn't just about the money that you tend to forget about it because of the excitement about the odds your betting on. However, it will still about money somehow at the end of the day. You momentarily forget about it while on the process, but you'll soon realize it no matter your winning or losing. To make things short, we're all excited about the money we may win or lose lol.

Imagine having Luka,LBJ and Kawhi on Lakers this would be much interesting to see. But I guess the chances is so slim since maybe Kawhi would rather choose to sign on other team rather than being join on this two stars.
Young talented teams of todays NBA can still beat them, no doubt. I mean the OKC can beat then in a 7 game series. I guess the big 3 era is now over. Superstars are getting old, and young bloods are getting better. Everyone can score from anywhere on the floor. This isn't the 2000's or 2010's where super teams would surely dominate. Those days are over. It's just only good to see superstars teaming up together, but they don't guarantee a finals trip anymore.
