Don’t chase another huge win immediately

Yep, because if you do, the chances of you getting it again is less than 0.01 lol.
I have feeling that if someone has hit that big multiplier, all of the people who play the same time as the person who hit it will not gonna win anything in the next couple or more hours, or it might take another 24-48hrs after another look lucky person who will hit huge multiplier.
Casinos were not built to let the people take their money, it is the other way around. So, it's like they are pooling all the money they get from the gamblers and then allocate like 10% to the lucky jackpot winner for the day lol. Just think of it that way so you won't think about getting another huge multiplier.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling videos and streams are so unrealistic on: October 20, 2024, 11:37:45 PM
So I wonder what could possibly be going on here. Is it normal to see so may wins as the streamers get? And if you see this, doesn't it make you less likely to trust a casino hosting something seemingly so suspicious?

Well, most of us don't know how they do it, but we all know that these streamers are just promoting the casino (not unless, if they don't mention or show which casino they're playing), so most likely the casino have altered the flow of the streamer's game showing us more wins, which can be very different when we're the ones whos playing.
Therefore, your conclusion is correct. These streamers promoting casinos are just their to get paid, regardless if it's just pure deception.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] John Riel Casimero vs. Saul Sanchez - October 13 on: October 19, 2024, 10:06:25 AM
https://www.google.com/amp/s/tribune.net.ph/amp/story/2024/10/15/casimero-not-on-top-ranks-radar

Too bad for us who wants to see Casimero and Inoue fight. Looks like, Casimero didn't impress the top rank peeps. He's not under Inoue's radar even after the dominating 1st round knock out win.
Well, I guess this what happens when you don't carry any title to leverage the fight you wanted.
There has been a lot of debate in the social media whether or not Inoue has been ducking again or is it just because Casimero has made several violations against boxing regulations.
4  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: October 19, 2024, 07:32:29 AM
This is also connected with the moral qualities of those people who build their careers in politics. And now, in my opinion, nobility and the highest degree of dignity and honor are completely absent from modern politicians. They simply cannot be compared even remotely with the politicians who governed countries 100-150 years ago. Now, in the upper echelons of power, there are some completely random, worthless people. And unfortunately, they are the ones who decide issues that affect the lives of millions of people. And they decide them not at all based on the interests of these very people. And their moral ugliness allows them to do good for narrow groups of the population, to which they themselves belong, and they do not care at all about the rest of the population. And this morality of theirs is crossed out by some concept of "common sense". However, this sense is not common, it is simply filthy.
Those modern politicians is busy to make them rich by doing many illegal things and don't care with their responsibility when they are in the government position. They also not responsibilities with their citizens and only release laws without working and make sure everything runs as their plan. They made a law that gives them a way to make more and more money but public doesn't know for sure so can still operate their business without anyone knows. They don't have morality about their position in the government. If they care with their citizens, they will working for their citizens and always reminds their citizens not to playing slot game excessively or stop playing gambling forever. They will trying to build employment for its people so they will have a chance to earn money and slowly can leaves gambling.

It is no longer a secret that politicians enrich themselves, they look selfish in my opinion, not in accordance with their promises when they will serve as people's representatives, moreover, many politicians are currently addicted to slot gambling, where they openly play during state meetings, so how can they forbid people to stop gambling if they themselves set a bad example

I don't know how you guys connected this topic in a political point of view, but yeah, ALL politicians are selfish. They ran and secure themselves in the office for their own gain. Though, some may not be too obvious because they are doing their job well.
Gambling is one of the few vices that could potentially destroy one's life, career, and even family, but government had a hard time controlling it because it generates huge revenues. That means, huge pocket for the politicians too. So, educating gamblers like these kind of parades won't have any significant results in my opinion.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: October 18, 2024, 09:32:48 AM

There is no discussion yet for a superstar in the making, Dalton Knecht. He's made 35 points and turned the game aganst the Phoenix Suns and got that win. It's lovely to hear it from the commentators: "Knecht, connects!".

The kid has a lot of potential. He'd be a good go-to-guy for the Lakers in terms of 3pt shooters. However, it's a bit difficult for him to shine and become a superstar with LeBron and AD being in the same team.
Well,I hope the Lakers would keep these young talents they have as preparation for rebuilding when LeBron retires and when AD decides to leave.
I personally think, if the Lakers stays healthy and be more consistent this season, they'd be once again a playoff contender, not a team who's going to struggle to get a guaranteed playoff spot again.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If your son who is over 18 asks you how to bet on soccer, would you help him? on: October 16, 2024, 03:19:33 PM
My question is: Do you take this opportunity to teach him about responsible betting, or do you try to steer him away from it? Also, if you are still supporting him financially, would you allow him to use the money you provide for betting? the money you work so hard for... Smiley

I wouldn't encourage him to place a bet as of the moment, not until he can stand on his own two feet where he already land a good paying and stable job. But, what I do as of the moment? I would teach him how to analyze the match; who will potentially win or who lose.  I wouldn't teach him how to analyze the odds either as it might somehow give him the idea that could entice him in placing bets. Though, everything could be learned over the internet, but at least I did what I can do as a parent who does not want my child to get involve in gambling at an early age.

Gambling is short cut to poverty

Not for everyone. Though it's a common narrative that those who started to get hooked up with gambling are eventually going to be broke. Yeah, that's actually true, but that depends on each person. There are those who know how to control their expenses despite of being so frequent in gambling.
Those who don't value their hard earned money are most likely going to be broke in no time lol.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting and AI predictions on: October 15, 2024, 09:17:28 PM
Well, I think what's the best AI can do is to provide us with current game/match analysis. Like the detailed analysis that includes everything, from players, coach, injuries (major & minor for those players who have fatigues and will still play), and any other significant changes and additions. AI suggestions might most likely very tempting too. So, I gotta say, it won't still gonna be accurate because the game still be decided by players(humans), but this will be a very big help for the bettors to save time from reading all different sources about the news around the league in the internet.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is harder to predict, randomness or regularity? on: October 15, 2024, 07:38:13 AM
i wouldn't say the sports bets are random, there is luck involved, but each time a player kicks a ball he does it with intention and with a propose, he isn't kicking the ball just to random places. We have as a good example the world cup, i don't think Argentina won on a random way, some players and some teams are better than others, and those are the ones who have a better chance to win.

So, for me the sports aren't random at all. There is skill and intention involved.

Exactly!
I think people may have misunderstood what "random" really means. In gambling, random means the absence of intentions or specific target or goal to achieve just like the slot games, wherein the only thing to achieve is to win no matter how and no matter how much, with no skills, analysis, and any kind of mental and physical matter that would influence the result.
When we analyse a match in sports, we don't only rely on statistics and averages of the teams and their individual players, but we also consider a lot of different things like injuries, player emotions, news around the league (drama), rotations, player/coach/staff relations, and a lot of different things that makes as think analysing who's gonna win or lose in match is random, but it's actually not.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teenage exposure to gambling on: October 15, 2024, 04:35:37 AM
These days Teenage kids are getting exposed to gambling sites without any efforts taken by government. Although, it's not good for their own mental health and they might gamble when they're actually below 18, and no body might know about that as it's quite easy to gamble on online casinos these days.

I believe one should educate their kids that it's not a good habit to gamble when you're below 18 as it can cause serious addiction that might destroy someone's life. Even by guiding them properly one still might not be able to distance their kids from the online casinos that allow anyone to gamble without caring much about their actual age.

I think, in this current generation, educating your child into not doing something like gambling will have a very little chance of working. I mean, gambling ads are everywhere. In social media, in streaming websites, and even in the streets. In here? they put a huge slot billboard along the busy street. See image below.

This is how greedy the online gambling companies in PH are today. They don't care about who sees this ads, they don't care about our children, and they don't care anything at all generally as long as they get tons of money out of it.
Well, despite the fact that these will corrupt the young minds of our children, I still don't stop reminding them to keep away from this kind of activities as much as possible while they are still young.

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Projected how to spend gambling profits while the game has not played yet? on: October 14, 2024, 06:25:41 PM
The worst ridiculous and ugliest moment I have ever encountered pertaining gambling is when a friend told me and few other friends that he was going to take responsibility of the bills for our weekend hangout.
He had us that confidence to be unfailingly.
Guess what???
It was actually from a game he booked against the weekend that had him that morale to had projected this weekend hangout amongst us and it was not that he had secured the money to be assured.

As a matter of fact, he was nowhere to be found all through the weekend and could not even take his calls because he felt messed up of himself for the false promises.
While time passes by, you can imagine how he narrated the stories and felt remorseful of being a d!ck head as the game failed him as predicted.

That is clearly a case of over confidence. Not only he assumed that he is going to win but also announced it to their friends.
He must really be foolish at that time but I hope he learnt from this situation and took it as a lesson to not depend on gambling completely.

Not only just over confidence, I think the guy wanted to prove something, and that's something like "hey, I'm good at this and you my friends should follow me next time". Or maybe the guy was struggling financially and so envious about his friend's achievements, so he counted his eggs before it hatched, then promised his friends over the weekend and then lost everything eventually. OR maybe most likely, he was promised that he was betting on a fixed match and the probability of winning is 100%.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: October 14, 2024, 06:07:09 AM
So after luka got injured during the practice, we now have Klay Thompson injured in the preseason.

Klay Thompson suffers injury after just one game with Mavericks

Quote
Klay Thompson said his back “tightened up” on him tonight, but he said he’ll be “ready to go on Monday.”

I hope it's not serious, better bet as the regular season will be starting soon.

This seriously looks concerning in my opinion. I mean Thompson becomes injury prone after that major injury he had. Now, both Thompson and Irving are injury prone. Both of them might not be able to play as much games in the regular season like they used to. They can't win anything if they can't be healthy most of the time. Luka, can't do it alone though. Looking forward for Lively or Gafford step up big time for the Mavs this season. These 2 big men looks promising to me.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] John Riel Casimero vs. Saul Sanchez - October 13 on: October 14, 2024, 02:43:21 AM
For sure fans of Casimero and the Philippines are very happy to see their very own John Riel winning this fight very easy. I mean he had been in controversial fight when he moves up to 122 lbs. But now it seems that he is back with vengeance, a knockout win, or a referee stoppage win.

This is enough for now for Casimero to be still in the hunt for world title. For me he should be keeping the name of Naoya Inoue from his mouth. Fans wanted to see them inside the ring, but I do not think that Bob Arum is going to risk his cash cow. As I check, he is rank almost in all division, so if Naoya move up, then the all the belts will be open and then that will be his chance again to regain a belt.
I wonder what Inoue is saying or feeling right now.
Will he again dodge him, and instead fight weaker opponents? Or he will give an opportunity to fight him instead.

I will not be surprised if these 2 fighters will fight against each other next year as long as there will be no hindrance on the side of Casimero. It's been a while since he fought inside the ring, so this is a good "Welcome Back" fight for him. That fight is I think a one-sided match from the start. The problem that I see though is Casimero being overweight during the weigh-ins. I mean that could ruin his opportunity for a title fight if he will not take care of himself including his weight. A well-deserved win, and I expect more fights from him next year as he comes back.

That was a very impressive win indeed for Casimero, he was really looking forward to meet Inoue at the ring soon as he delivers a great result for this fight and this will give him a ticket for the Inoue fight.
Now, I think the hype will be once again be revived as Casimero fought like a champion once again.
I think, they might get Casimero another match a tougher opponent this time before they will get him to fight with Inoue to sell the fight even more.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Good Reason why you would quit gambling forever? on: October 13, 2024, 10:10:07 AM
So, here putting out the same question, what will make you quit gambling forever? A win or a loss, or both?

Well, I didn't really totally quit gambling, I just decreased the number of hours and days I engaged into gambling. What made me do it is because of responsibilities in life, like having family and children.
Especially when you're tight in budget, it is our core responsibilities to control or totally get rid of it totally.
Another thing that could make someone quit gambling is when health is declining. This has been one of the main reason before in a physical casinos, but with the online gambling now, even those ill can be able to gamble, so I'm not really sure what makes another man quit gambling, especially if that person doesn't have any sense of responsibility.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I want something new. Which games are also enjoyable? on: October 13, 2024, 01:51:44 AM
I presume you are looking to play online gambling, so I think there are mostly no other online gambling games that are more interesting than those what you have mentioned. But, I can recommend you one that you never mentioned. I'm not sure if you have tried crash? It's also good and interesting and it also has good activities.
If you don't find that interests you, I suggest you should visit a physical casino. It's sure more enjoyable in any games you play than just sitting around your room while playing on an online casino.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A good gambler should learn to visit replays, highlights and histories on: October 12, 2024, 08:24:03 AM

How important is it for a good gambler mostly on sports betting, to learn to always watch replays and highlights of the general matches played previously, inorder to best know how to make a proper guess/prediction on the best team to win?

Highlights could be misleading most of the time. I suggest to watch the whole replay. But, that wouldn't be necessary anymore if you're a fan of the sport you're placing your bets into as most likely you have already watched every game of all teams in the league. So, the main focus now is to watch for updates inside the league. Like injuries, current rotations, and other reports that could potentially affect the betting odds.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Media and Gambling, How does it work? on: October 09, 2024, 02:31:33 PM
How often do public perceptions and media narratives influence betting odds in ongoing leagues, and how can bettors exploit these discrepancies to find value bets?
So far, public perception and media narratives have a significant influence on the betting planning that gamblers will make, because the limited information possessed by gamblers forces them to swallow raw information in the media for them to use as a reference, but I think the media also has an important role that may be able to make our chances of winning in betting greater as long as we are selective in choosing information that is indeed a factor that is a good factor influences our bets, so that with the right approach, bettors can take advantage of the difference between media-influenced public perception and reality to find valuable but still critical bets and always do in-depth research before placing a bet.

Well, that's usually the only option the bettors have in terms of getting information around the league to decide what odds to make when betting. However, bookmakers has their own man who's also knowledgeable about what's going on around the league that doesn't only rely on media or any other sports analyst, and that is how the bookmakers come up with the odds they offer to the bettors. Therefore, media narratives and public perceptions doesn't influence much on the bookmakers' end, because they know bettors are also relying to these sources. They tend to make odds always in their favor.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Few observations about luck-based games in comparison to skill-based games (2). on: October 09, 2024, 03:51:49 AM
There is a chance that the nature of the game has something to do with the gender that plays in that game most. There is no official study for this yet, but I am thinking that we will find more females playing and drawn to luck-based games than skill-based games because of how difficult the process of learning skill-based games may be.

I think it's for both genders, and generally there are more people who plays in a pure-luck based gambling games. Since, it does not require complex strategies, most people find it more convenient to just place a bet a wait for the luck to come.
But, I've seen women who plays skill based games like poker, chinese poker, and Mahjong and they are equally as good as men.

Another observation about luck-based games that a new gambler with an interest in them has to know is that they have the potential to make you, as a gambler, spend more money gambling than skill-based games.

What do you think?

Well, I think both type of gambling games can make a gambler potentially spend more money some time.
But we find more gambling addicts in a pure-luck based games, simply because there are a lot of people who played that kind of game compared to skill based games.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illusion of control on: October 08, 2024, 09:54:12 AM
It's just another phenomenon that gamblers often assumes that they have some control over the outcome of their bets especially if they have been doing it for a while even though every time is just purely random there's no skill involved. Take dice for an example we might assume that we can control and influence the result of it by throwing softer or harder or in anyway that our brain recognize a pattern and keep tells us it's a way to win the game. So let's discuss about it.

I think that is just one way of keeping your composure while gambling. It is important that you won't lose your cool and be in control with your emotion all the time, to avoid getting frustrated and place bets recklessly. We might call it an illusion, but it somehow helps us manage the risks in gambling. We tend to get good results when we are in a good mood for gambling. Even if you're not winning, being in a good mood will definitely keep you away from any emotional and mental stress related in gambling. But hey, a lot of people believes in it though. Every single person in a casino has a way of how they throw the dice in. Well, except for those multi millionaires who's only there for pure fun, they could always carelessly throw the dice in lol.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An analogy in gambling. on: October 08, 2024, 07:03:56 AM
I've known a certain group of gamblers that would sing their praises to games with lower potential winnings. At some point, I'm stuck in-between the fact that they're either lucky with games of little potential winnings and it happens on almost every winning tickets? Again, if you're also in doubt to their belief, is their winning tickets on the low outcome always a coincidence? Also, if the casinos are always cautious as to not incuring too much to pay, how about tickets with $800k winnings?

Definitely not a coincidence, but there is something behind it. Not a sorcery either or any superstitious belief, because such thing as magic does not exist. That only lives in fairytales lol.
They could either be super lucky or someone is behind these winning tickets. I only have one thing for sure when someone hits a consistent huge winnings, they are either extremely lucky or someone is rigging it for them. Of course someone should make it look like they've got some antics that mostly works, but nah that's just for the show.
