We aren't at that point yet, sorry. There are a lot of people with free electricity that are profitable with old miners. I realize someone is paying for the electricity but it's included in their rent or someone else is paying for it so they don't care.
This may be the best time to jump into mining because people are quitting and the hardware is dirt cheap.
I agree. For the ETH mining, if you use the nVidia 1080Ti and $0.1/kWh mining, it is not profitable. But the hash rate is still there (200Th/s). It means people have much less electricity price. |

Hello, can any one say, why XMR price goes up? Any reason for it like some update, meting, release or smth.. or it is juts ALT coin rebound?
Most altcoins have rebounded. But they are led by Monero. |

I wonder if Monero will launch a Masternode? Look at the limited amount of coins being supported by SetupMasternodes.com and they're looking to support Quality Masternode based coins. XMR team is solid, and hopes it can get it going with a MN Why would XMR really need Masternodes? XMR certainly doesn't need to attempt to make this coin more anonymous by mixing them like Dash does. yeah, good point on that part. I guess it wouldn't only be the purpose of mixing but an option for people to use the mixing feature? just curious Adding Masternodes would compromise Monero's anonymity not increase it so you are extolling the virtues of a poor idea thats only reason for being is to increase holders coins and facilitate P&D's. I think the current mixing process is very good. NO need for the master nodes. |

Zcash coin is one of my favorite altcoin but I dont think this coin will reach 0.1 bitcoin in this year 2017 maybe possible price of bitcoin before end of this year 2017 is 0.1 . Zcash its look ethereum coin. Zcash for sure gives you a bigh profit in the future so itsbetter if you have zcash to make sure you did not missed any potential coin. Buy more zcash and hold it and make a lot of profit.
I think zec has already reached 0.1 bitcoin in the past few months. But it is lower now, along with many other coins. The price in terms of bitcoin, has not dropped much. It dropped a lot actually. A few months ago, it was 0.15, now it is 0.05. Compared to the continuous hype about it, this kind of drop should once give advice for all investors and make their minds that something is not like it was supposed to be. The price could rise again. The ZCash dropped a lot today, any news? |

I accumulte BTC, so the price doesn't really matter to me.
But I imagine it'll drop lower than what it is now. If it breaks the $1800 area, then $1200 beckons.
I think the price now is better than a few weeks ago. So it is better to buy more. |

This is very very old 'news' and been mentioned lord how many times in the past.
As mentioned earlier it was for the Minerlink service. The early s7's used to have a page on the Bitmain GUI to set it, was removed after maybe batch-10 or so.
Like ANY remote monitor program/service (Awesome Miner comes to mind) the miners must periodically be polled to see how they are doing. Only difference here is it was a cloud service and ran by Bitmain.
As posted earlier: If ya don't like it just re-direct the query to localhost. 'Problem' solved.
Yes for whatever reason, the code still remains and YES Bitmain should remove it since it serves no purpose and is a needless 'possible feature'.
One purpose of the feature is that it can remotely turn off the miner if it is stolen. Is that a good feature? |

Almost 0.04 btc now, the price now is quite overvalued, all the altcoins pump alongside with Dash,XMR and ETH, also ZEC pumps too.
If the price rises further, it is not overvalued now. The market cap is quite large now, may be in top 10 coins very soon, Zcash will donate 20% of mined coins to the team, don't forget the sudden dumps. It will be top 10 in a few month even if the price does not rise. The new zcash are increasing a lot It is already number 9 in the currency list. |

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Ethereum I say its good because the value is at ease and nothing change only the projects is slowing move but it is still moving in progress. and criticizer of ethereum is just a part of ethereum success in the near future. I think a lot of projects are gone quiet. More testing and security. Early launch with a code oversight could be a disaster. The security is more important. The only thing about ETH that gives me hope for future pumps is that it's somehow backed by big pockets, big brands are behind, for some reason they want it to succeed. But I don't trust it long term because it's going to screw up again in a hard fork or another DAO fiasco. There are some big owners of Ethereum. They will want it to succeed. they will help developing the coin. |

Zcash was just a coin without any application in the real world as of now but the hype behind it was huge that people thought it would be the next big thing and started investing in mining and stuff and now the coin is being dumped hard and so is the reason you see the current levels and i do think it will again reduce further as this is over priced in my opinion.
It has some big investors. They will try their best to promote it. So the price might rise a lot in the future. |

i think it will be a great pump of zcash in december, after a slow start and low price near 0.05-0.07btc. wait and then make money)
That will only happen after the big whales have accumulated enough. It might not be ready in December. it will be more and more coins every day. I told about december because the date of slow start ending is the nearest date of something could happen. Then i will not see really big causes for pump. except whales accumulating, of cours. But for more strong pump they nedd some information activity and news, i think. There would be no news hence whales do appear on random ways and the price increase will surely be visible for all and that means the whales have just bought zcash but i think it wont happen on this upcoming december but well who knows on what will happen on zcash, price drops drastically since on the beggining. I think the pumper will wait until the Z address is implemented properly, then they will pump the coins a lot. you can never predict the pumps and surely after some new feature is realeased to an altcoin there is automatically a hype going on with that particular altcoin which can help the price rise. if the pumpers were ready (had accumulated enough and are not pumping other coins at that moment) they will use this to pump it otherwise not gonna happen! I do not think they are ready yet. They do not have many coins now as the issue of coin is half as normal. |

Nice to see the minimum fan speed setting in the newer version of your GPU miner, was looking forward for it.
He said he will not work on the ZCash miners before it is lanuched. He might work on it later in the time. |

Ethereum is a good altcoin because is the most popular after bitcoin. I think is a perspective coin.
Uhmmmm, Considering most popular=high volume, Certainly ETH has been most popular only after BTC, But nothing is forever, as you probably know LTC took his place as the most popular for a long time ago and it is now top 4, We see how long remains ETH as the second most popular. The Etheruem still has quite active developr team. It also has good community support. It might stay there for some time. |

Ethereum is not exactly an altcoin in the common sense. It has a totally new code. So yes, I'd say that it is a good altcoin since it is the most inventive one.
Most people think the bitcoin is the main coin, and all other coins are the altcoin. So the Ethereum is treated as altcoin. |

We really wont know the value of ETH until they implement Proof of stake prove it works. Smart contracts are usefull but i think they will just be implemented into a more secure and organised community like DASH.
PS ETH is spiking now, so buy up before its 2 late
Its not good to buy right now because the price of eth right now is high even we are seeing that the price is increase better to go timing when you should buy ethereum so that you can be lose a lot or you can make more profit. I do not think the Etheruem price is high. It is consolidating at the moment. It will rise a lot after the conference. |

After hard fork fraud ETH could blow up anytime
You can the ETH could fail at any time, but did not give a specific time scale. Do you think it will fail in 10 years? I think the ETH has good developments at the moment and it has enough funding to support further development. So it will not fail soon. |

Going to set a buy order for ETC, anticipating a pump soon.
To make it look like it has got some traction, if a pumper like Max Keiser gets involved, you know something will happen (and it's not good long-term for ETC).
I still believe in ETH and will keep 50% btc 48% eth and 2% etc just for fun
That could be a right proportion. I think I will mine some ETC and sell the ETC when there is a big price pump. |

ETC could survive as a mineable coin, like many small altcoins. But not many big business will support it. If it is not supported by business, it will be like many other scam coins. It will be dead very soon. So it is a pump and dump coin now. The price of the ETC has not risen in the last few days. And the volume is also decreasing. Does it mean people are losing interest? |
