Firstly, if your only concern about Core is that it is using too much disk space, you can enable pruning. Go to the Bitcoin Core datadir and find or create the bitcoin.conf file (it's just a text file with a .conf extension). Then add the following line to it:
Code:
prune=550

That will reduce the size of the blockchain to ~1-2 GB. What it does is it will just delete the blockchain except for the most recent 288 or so blocks. As you get more blocks, the oldest blocks will be deleted to make space for the new ones.

If you really want to go ahead with transferring the Bitcoin to a new wallet, you will need to do a few things to get abandontransaction to work. First, stop Bitcoin Core. Then go to the Bitcoin Core datadir and delete the file called mempool.dat if it exists. Then start Bitcoin Core with the -walletbroadcast=0 option. Then you should be able to do Abandon Transaction.

I got it all fixed, coins appeared in my wallet.
Thanks

Hello,

Since you're using bitcoin core you can do a full rbf on it where you can cancel an unconfirmed transaction and send it again with a recommended fee
Quote
Bitcoin Core

Bitcoin Core makes making Full RBF transactions very easy. Simply go to the transactions list, right click the transaction that is stuck, and choose the "Abandon Transaction" option.

If that option is greyed out, then you must restart Bitcoin Core with the -walletbroadcast=0 option and then you should be able to use "Abandon Transaction".

If the above two options fail for some reason, then you can start Bitcoin Core with the -zapwallettxes option to clear all unconfirmed transactions from your wallet.

Once the transaction is either Abandoned or cleared from the wallet, you can simply go to the Send tab and send the Bitcoin again but make sure that you include a sufficient transaction fee.

Or you can here the whole thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802212.0
A good guide to know the recommended fee of a transaction: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

None of the commands work sadly.
I'm getting
"Transaction not eligible for abandonment (code -5)"
What is going on? :/

Best regards

Hello there!
I'm new to this and I'm sorry if this topic was discussed before, but at this point I just do not know what to do.
I eared 0.05 BTC and I wanted to transfer the coins from my Bitcoin core wallet to Electrum wallet (BC wallet uses 200GB I'm running out of storage).
Its been 5 days and the coins have not appeared in my new wallet.
After reading a few forums I figured out that my transaction fee is way too low.
Tried transaction accelerators but they dont work (transaction does not exist).
What can I do at this point?
I have no more bitcoins in my wallet, cant double spent... Cry

any link to the old wallet? need to send to swap some of my coins from the wallet

Our website has yet to be updated and has the old installer. >>Website<<
Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see links.

See page 1

I really really hate these answers! I went to page one ALREADY and nothing there says its the new ESP2 wallet posted.

This is why I need a clear answer, and perhaps OP can make it more obvious that its the ESP2 wallet posted in the OP.

It was posted a couple pages back that the OP of this ANN was already updated with the latest links.
Windows & Mac are now the latest links.

Guess we'll have to add pretty colorful text saying it's been updated.

Why are the POS rewards of different size btw? I have learned from other coins that the reward size is constant ... Huh

PoS selects different coins to stake at a time. Therefore the rewards will be different size and in different intervals since this is off of %.

For some reason, my wallet is stuck @ 25 hours behind and it won't sync. I'm trying to send my ESP to Supernova.
What could be the problem?
Best regards.

I'm sorry to ask this stupid question but how do I exchange my ESP1 for ESP2?
I have like 2.000.000 ESP and no idea what to do with it.
Thanks in advance!

Windows + R keys

type %appdata% and enter

Search Espers folder

Paste your wallet.dat with funds into that folder.

If it prompts for overwrite click on yes.

Thank you! I finally got my coins back Cheesy

A bit too dark imho.
Also a bit of approximate timing should be added.

You know, a couple people have said the same thing (about the darkness), we'll do something about that.

Yes, you are correct it should display rough times, that's why right now we are working out scheduling on a proper roadmap, like we stated earlier this is just a rough outline so the community can see where we're headed.

Also a bit of approximate timing should be added.
I would also like to have that. Makes bit more satisfactory.

Got it! Smiley We'll work on finishing up the detailed roadmap. This is just a rough outline as reference for you.

A good roadmap should have a timeline even at a monthly target for each milestone or objective.

Please read above two responses Wink

is there a fixed date for the SWAP?

We might be able to announce a date for the swap to start later on this evening.
Have to work on a couple things first.

Sorry to ask again, but how do I restore my wallet on a new computer?
I have a backup of the wallet.dat file but what do I have to do with it?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: August 29, 2016, 10:19:47 PM
When is swapping start ?

We will announce the start a few days before we start the swap don't worry.

When will the swap?
How long it will last? That will be with those coins that are not swapped?

1. Swap announcement will come soon, give it time and be sure to check the OP!
Smiley

2. Swap will last for 2 months

3. All coin not swapped will be considered burned (all coins swapped will be officially burned) and then the official main nodes will go offline.

supposedly
When will the swap?

Those coins will be lost because won't be supported by network or miners (supposedly)

Yes the coins will be lost at the end of swap.

Does anybody know how to restore a Wallet.dat backup?

When I switched computers I grabbed my wallet.dat file that had my coins on it and simply replaced the new wallet.dat that had no coins on it. restarted my wallet and it worked.
So close your wallet, find your saved backup wallet.dat maybe under "documents" file then go to
the current Wallet.dat location. It is most likely in the C drive  under, users/then select your user name/appData/Roaming/Espers.

AppData is a hidden file so you may need to make that visible first if you don't see it(google, make hidden folders visible). Make sure you save whatever wallet.dat file you are replacing in the event you actually need it later!
Restart wallet, sync and spend! Smiley

Thank you so much!

Mined a few when CPU mining was profitable.
it is still profitable  Smiley

Can you say on that CPU's you are mining and how much espers you get?
My cpu does 140kH/s
i think it is about 500 espers per 10 minutes

May be you mistake? It is more than 4 million ESP per day
If it so - mining of ESP is profitable. I try it again  Grin

I don't think so. I've been mining on maxminers for quite some time now with 70kh and I am getting about 700K to 750K ESP daily.
So he should be getting about 1.5m

Maybe he is solo mining. I currently am on 6 of my 8 cores at +- 90 kh/s and hauling in 10.000 every 15 minutes. Mined about 30.000.000 so far, bought about 800.000.000 and making about about 10.000.000 a day from trading. Allmost at 1.000.000.000 now :-D

Solo or pool should make no difference in the long run (except for the fee). In fact, your figure is surprisingly close to mine (almost identical when you account for the fee)

You are getting 10000 in 15 minutes or 40000 an hour which translates to 960k a day for 90kh
I said I am getting between 700k and 750k (avg 725k) for 70kh
140k must be around 1.45m, top 1.5m ESP a day. Certainly not 4m

You can check all kinds of mining setups out on my website:

Hello there!
Excuse me if messed up.
I'm trying to mine Ethereum and Ethereum Classic with my PC.
My GPU is a GTX 780 Ti AMP! and I get 3-4 MH/s?!?!
I use Windows 10 64-Bit and the 347.52 driver.
Other people are getting anything between 15-20 MH/s.
Whats wrong?
Please help.
I even tried Genoil's miner and got even worse performance.

Best regards-
Its because you're trying to mine to nicehash. Use a real pool and earn much more.

I also tried Supernova, same.

Do the included .bin files in wolf's miner not work?
You may try the following steps:
1) Start the miner and enter all data for your pool
2) Let the miner create the .bin file and crash with error -63
3) Look for the .bin file, remember its filename and change the filename "espw64-wolf-esp-Tahiti-64.bin" to the one the miner has created
4) Start the miner again, enter all data
5) Hopefully profit?  Cheesy

already done 2 months ago

errror -63 error just happens via the renaming
otherwise nothing happens

BECAUSE THESE .BIN ARE NOT WORKING FOR WINDOWS
It's that simple

DO YOU HAVE .BIN WORKING FOR WINDOWS PLEASE ?!
OR MAYBE YOU ARE UNDER LINUX AND YOU TROLL LIKE PALLAS
Calm down mate, I'm just trying to help you  Smiley
As you may already read on one of my previous answers, I'm an even poorer NVidia user who has to deal with some crappy 100 kH/s.

That's because I don't have a .bin for the AMD GPUs.
I could you only give one for the GTX960 (working with Win), but that won't help you.

Do you have some software developing skills? Then you could debug wolf's miner with Visual Studio 2013.
I'll currently installing VS2013 and I'll have a look at it. But as I don't have an AMD GPU, it would be very hard for me to track down the error.

Another idea - What's happening when you start the miner and let it create a .bin file?
Did you also copy the folder "kernel" to the miner? And on the "Algorithm" question you have to enter hmq1725.

Let me know if this works.

I know I'm asking for a lot, but can you maybe optimize the miner for nvidia cards? Because as of right now, I'm getting 150KH/s with my GTX780 Ti.
Burning so much electricity. My Core i7 gets higher hashrates. Cheesy
SHP-YTC what version of miner app. are you using to get 150kh/s on your GTX780 Ti ?  thx

I'm using a Zotac GTX 780 Ti AMP! Overclocked to 1150 MHz.
Also its water cooled, Win 10, latest driver, Pallas SGminer from the announcement page. (https://github.com/CryptoCoderz/sgminer_HMQ1725/blob/2f959266a1bbcadf948a1f7a9da0e75a8e32399e/release/sgminer_build_HMQ1725.zip)

We bought the miner to release publicly (the AMD one) and we will have to buy the NVIDIA miner that we just haven't had the BTC for.

If anyone wants to donate to help get the NVIDIA miner sooner their welcome to otherwise we are slowly saving up another BTC to spend on the NVIDIA miner.

Just FYI we are still paying on the AMD one, these things aren't cheap, people's work isn't cheap and that leads to delays for releases because we aren't just another Pump and Dump we don't have a bunch of liquidity to throw around.

I hope that didn't sound grouchy it's just the situation we're in at the moment.

All I can donate is Espers Cheesy
How much does the Nvidia Miner cost?

There is no need for bin files: the whole opencl sources  (+ the host code) are public.

bla bla bla
always the same refrain

it does not work under Windows !! FOR MONTHS
are you deaf or blind ?!
or maybe are you dishonest ?!
This is like a private sgminer for some people for months ..

how can you speak again and again for the windows version ?
you mine with sgminer wolf0 for months now under linux .. and u still affirm that is working for windows..
pathetic

What I say is true, what you say is not. So please stop your "always the same refrain".
And stop insulting me. I'm a respected opensource developer, where is your contribution instead?

Can you upload your miner files to google drive or dropbox?
I would highly appreciate it.

Is there an optimized nvidia miner?

BTW if you're interested, share your setup. Here is the link to my website Cheesy

I uploaded the Windows Miner with compiled .bin for my GTX960.
Check this: https://ufile.io/075c5

The hashrates are horrible as I only get about 100 kH/s on intensity 12.
When I set a higher intensity, the computer is almost not usable anymore.

@AMD Users: You could also try this version to compile a .bin. Maybe this will work?  Huh

About unfair distribution... What shall I say as a NVidia User?  Tongue
For me its unfair on almost every GPU coin.
