Wow, sounds awesome!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 01, 2018, 05:16:57 PM
Now we have the first real-world project that chose Byteball as a platform for their ICO.

It is TitanCoin: http://titan-coin.com/en/
One-pager: http://titan-coin.com/one-page-ENG.pdf

They are going to raise $11.2 to buy equipment for processing raw materials into Titanium dioxide.  Me and Steve serve as advisors for the project.
PreICO starts now and will raise only in Bytes with generous bonus for early investors.

It is also one of the first industrial ICOs.

This will be the first use of our ICO bot which was published on github just recently https://github.com/byteball/ico-bot.  The bot is designed to help entrepreneurs raise funds and distribute their tokens, easily and securely.  This early version accepts only Bytes, it will be extended to also accept BTC and ETH, and possibly USDT.  The tokens are issued immediately after the payment is confirmed.

TinanCoin ICO bot is already in the Bot Store.

One year ago the first ICO on Byteball was launched, with Tony and Steve as advisors. Several million $ in GBYTE were raised from Byteball users trusting Tony. However the promises of the project have not been fullfilled, no exchange listing, no buybacks, no production, no updates about the status of the project. What happend to the money?

On Titan Coin telegram channel they said that a private sale has started from 14 October to 14 November. Following the private sale they plan to list Titan Coin on several exchanges.

So,during 204 days, all stupid miners got a 35% reduction in mining reward and no one found it,yeah, stupid miners, screw them.Use your common sense, you're genius and discovered something all ppl never found.

Thank you deeply, but this does not make me a genius, nor does it even prove anything other than the fact that I found a serious issue that Captain and the developers didn't bother to fix despite being aware of the issue for 4-5 months.

Why are you calling the miners "stupid" and saying "screw them"? It's not their fault Captain did that... and I certainly would not call them stupid.

I have not met one miner who does not check if his income from pool is large enough to keep mining the coin with a profit and comparing that with other coins. Its literally impossible to screw miners because they monitor the payouts and prices constantly.

Captain, I would appreciate it if you stopped using my account on DERO forums. What I mean specifically is, you've banned me, so stop editing my posts lol

...

Yet, if you look at the date you'll notice I was banned yesterday Smiley so how is it possible I'm promoting the telegram group you and your team started today?

....

You are a special kind of person lol

He is fixing the posts with important Dero information that you broke

...
I simply deleted a few of the posts that I made, or edited the words to stuff like "kjhsdfkjh kjsdhfkjh kjshdf" to meet the 20 character limit.

Exactly, for some reasons they try to stay under the radar. Roll Eyes

And still multiple people come to FUD this unknown coin. Maybe some are full of envy Smiley

Serena....mojo

Im still waiting for a factual response to my questions.

You are conveniently avoiding my questions here.

By doing so You are only supporting a view that is dictatorial.

Why was a banned for raising valid concerns shared by the community?

I was in the chat at the same time and you did the same that you do here: just not accept it and move on. After people heard the news, people came to chat to ask questions or voice their opinion. After a bit of discussion, they would accept the dev decision or not and leave. But people like you would not stop. Its Ok to voice your opinion. But its not Ok to try to dominate the chat to get devs to change their decision. You would complain and ask the same questions over and over again. You started to complain in the morning and where still typing the same things in the evening . You want to have everybody to have your point of view and the devs change their decision. But the devs wont change and that was obvious. You were getting on the nerves of the other users (the silent majority + the people that are OK with the algo)

We have 0 clue who you guys are, until we know it's highly likely this is another scam coin. - Prove me wrong.
There is only 1 guy, CaptDero, who develops Dero soft. He is already a millionaire, as he keeps 2000000 premined coins (look to the block 1).  As the site https://forum.dero.io/ is registered in France, it is likely he is also from France. Serena is from western Canada, she owns a large mining farm and produces untruthful info for the community. There is the 3rd guy, but I did not payed attention on him.

Troll alert

Thank you!!

It's none of your business. We make money , we don't have time to to learn programming languages or IT education . IF you want make DERO great and TOP coin make GUI WALLET make convenient wallets and pools . Why btc bch ltc eth zcash and over have easy use ? I that look like hacker ? to sit and write in the command line letters ?

This is the state of professional miners now, can't mine without GUI wallet? Wow, crypto community is really in a bad state

First blockchain to have: DeroDAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + Complete SSL + POW .
Blocktime 9 secs + Confirmation times < 99 Secs.

Sound awesome. Can't believe until I see with my own eyes

Very nice! Seems everything is on track
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: May 22, 2018, 12:44:04 PM
A new DAG project has arrived, it seems that they handle the consensus problem with PoW (IOTA use coordinator and Byteball witnesses)

Quote
DERO-Atlantis few features:

    Block time of ~3 seconds.
    ~500 TPS(Transactions Per Second).
    No orphan blocks.
Faster settlements and confirmation times of less than 60 seconds. Change spending will be allowed after ~60 seconds.
Optional Extremely light weight, mobile and offline wallets.
New Dero address specifications to allocate wallets to everyone. Wallets will be lightweight, private, secure, with support of shadow addresses(infinite). Family-members, Cars, IOTs etc. can have shadow addresses. Shadow addresses are linked to primary wallet and can be used independently just like primary wallet. Example: Refrigerator can have shadow address for independent transactions and records.
Primary address can view/control shadow address balances etc. but not vice-versa.
Native blockchain without any lightning networks, validators or off-blockchain solutions.

DERO-DAG(Directed Acyclic Graph): DERO Atlantis will be DERO-DAG based. DERO-DAG is mineable, POW based, fully linear with same level of security as blockchain.
No orphans, scalability limits defined by resources(Compute, Network, Storage etc.)

Client Protocol: It handles same transactions mined by two different miners in different blocks mostly due to luck/Network lag.

Bulletproofs: Smaller transaction sizes for CryptoNote Protocol.

Ultra Compact Blocks: Faster block propagation times and low network usage.

Core progress on track.
Explorer, wallets too are being re-written to handle Atlantis.

In another 15 days Atlantis will be released for alpha-tests and Hopefully before next monthly update we would be on Atlantis.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this - if not, please point me in the right direction.

At the time of writing this, it is now 43 hours since I sent 10 Dero, and the amount does still not appear on the exchange I sent it to. The blockchain explorer at https://explorer.dero.io/ says the transaction has 857 confirmations - and still counting. Does this sound right? Looking at more recent transactions, I see maximum 20 confirmations. When can I assume my transaction will be completely confirmed?

This is my first Dero transaction, and I'm quite disappointed about it.

This is always exchange software problem. It is common with many coins and depends on the exchange backend. Some exchanges can get overloaded if many new people join. But sending Deros across the network has always been very fast.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITTUBE | NOW LIVE | NO PREMINE | NO ICO | FIRST MEDIA MINING PLAYER on: May 21, 2018, 08:43:45 AM
After a very intense due diligence I bought now nearly 50k Tubes.
From my point of view this coin has a lot of USPs compared to most other coins:

1. It has a working product. Most coins today are just coins or promise that they will have any function far later in future. This one here is already running.

2. The devs are very active. It has been very impressive how fast they implemented a fix after the rise of the first bitmain asics. And they did not just use an existing fix, they made a unique alogrithm, which means you have to produce special asics which can just target Tube and nothing else.

3. Code quality is great. I asked a developer to do a code review and he has been pretty impressed how clean the code has been done.

4. The community is great but not overhyped, which is very helpful for listing on top 10 exchanges like bittrex and binance

5. With the recent announcement of splitting the block rewards between the stakeholders they solved the problem of webmining cryptonight. It is a nice idea to let the cpu mine while watching videos but compared to gpus you will hardly find any shares and therefore content creators won't earn enough to be attracted. Very soon they will get a percentage of every mined block which will provide a stable income. Also 5% goes to the tube devs for exchange listings and further development. And listings on exchanges like binance and bittrex are pretty expensive, so collecting fees for it is very good because it will speed up the process. Every listing on a big exchange will also be an advertisment for the platform itself.

6. Tube is a fair community coin. Although you have a company behind, it had no ICO and no premine! Maybe it will be one of the last fair coins in crypto sphere with potential to settle as a brand.

7. The market cap for tube at the moment of writing is 9 million dollar on rank 543 in cmc, which is ridiculously low if you take all the points above into account. I don't know of any other coin at the moment which is underrated that much. If the 5% dev fee is live for some months we will see some big exchange listings and a sky rocketing price. If Tube is just coming to 90 mln market cap it will still only be around rank 150 but the price went up 10 times! I don't see any other coin with such a potential to make 10x.

So after all, I just wanted to share my findings with you guys, but make your own decisions. I did mine!

100% agrre. Its one of the most innovative coins out there. I have joined for the long term

Its the first time i see an official coin site without a link for download wallet....... seriosly....
Is this a joke ?

Haha yeah that is indeed strange. But the project is very real and advancing in big steps. The devs are 100% busy making the new blockchain.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: May 17, 2018, 05:10:23 AM
I like the simple Cli wallet, gives me a feel of being more in control. I will take that over the new Monero GUI anyday.

Good grief.  Guess you aren't aware that Monero has a CLI wallet also.

He said "NEW" and GUI, so I imagine he does know that.

Yeah the "simple cli wallet" is found in many coins and the Monero GUI is an example of how to not make a GUI wallet in 2018. But it seems that some people come here to FUD and are overly sensitive when Monero is mentioned, strange...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: May 16, 2018, 06:53:22 PM
It's called conflict of interest my good sir. Trust me, they didn't mine monero for a year then release the asics. I mined monero for over a year, the network behavior was normal until February. So its hard to believe.

Do you really believe Bitmain are angels and tell the public about their ASICs immediatly and sell them?

Dero has been secure for over a month and handing over the hashing power to asics makes the network more vulnerable because they have ALL the hashing power right now. Doesn't seem all that secure.

Dero has had extreme high hashrate attacks because of this, much higher then other coins. But in contrast to other coins it withstood the attacks. I believe the experience with these ASICs on the network will enable the Devs to create the most secure blockchain ever.
