2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do people get their bitcoins? on: May 21, 2018, 04:40:00 AM
I get my bitcoins from doing bounties , and also buying when the rates are low . I also encourage my friends to pay me money they owe me in altcoins or bitcoins, when I get altcoins I also exchange them to bitcoins
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Goverment is not recommending to use digital currency such a bitcoin? on: May 18, 2018, 10:55:00 PM
Governments will always have an issue with anything that has to do with money that it cannot control or regulate. A part of the reason though is that digital money can and will have implications when it comes on to fiscal planning and forecasting as it cannot at this point be predicted what the price of a coin will be with any amount of certainty .digital money because its not regulated can also have implications on the public purse as it could result in the re routing of funds from institutions that would pay taxes to the government and as such the revenue stream from these sources would be less. There are a myriad of reasons but this is the most troubling of them all.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think if Facebook releases its coin? on: May 18, 2018, 06:43:30 PM
First of all this will be great for the industry in terms of publicity. i would expect face books coin to do very well once it is released because Facebook is the leading social media outlet and its customer base is huge which would mean the almost all of its members are prospective customers. It has also been shown that they can influence the decision making process of its members, Facebook offers a good product and that alone would push the price of its coin as their track record would have people scrambling to get some of their coins which would drive up the price as one would expect that demand for it to be high.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO AND FIAT MONEY BEST COMBINATION on: May 17, 2018, 06:04:06 PM
This is only so because fiat money is still the major and most efficient means of exchange for goods and services but as time goes by and bitcoins becomes more popular then you will find that fiat (physical money) will become less popular as people will gravitate towards a cashless, fast, system that eliminates the need for them to leave the comfort of their home to do any transaction whatsoever. This will happen on the fast, secure un hackable blockchain system which most companies are adopting now.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pakistanis Find Alternative Ways to Trade Bitcoin Citing Ban on Crypto on: May 17, 2018, 05:09:24 PM
This will be the case in every situation where a government bans bitcoins , history has shown that once people believe in a product they will ignore laws and governance and find ways to achieve their goals even to their own detriment, and bitcoins is no different so it is wise for governments to find ways to facilitate and integrate bitcoins into the financial economy and system because everyone knows bitcoins is a "cash cow".
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies? on: May 17, 2018, 05:00:07 PM
There is only 21 million bitcoins within the bitcoin network and once all bitcoins are issued then trading would be the only way to get the coins which would also lead to an increase in the price of bitcoins , value would be driven by demand. The technology behind bitcoin is called the blockchain which offers security in the sense that it cannot be forged , manipulated or forged , these are just a few of the factors that separate/differentiate bitcoins from other currencies.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FedEx is investing and confident about Bitcoin on: May 16, 2018, 11:51:24 PM
FedEx has actually launched a pilot to test data storage for dispute resolution and this was done to see what data they would need for a permanent ledger to create a easier way to manage disputes that may arise when goods are shipped through FedEx.This is yet another instance of blockchain technology permeating the business sector.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Steps Forward To Legalize Cryptocurrencies on: May 16, 2018, 05:40:53 PM
This as the government Zimbabwe is preparing to try and stifle the industry. This is indeed excellent news for me and by all indications the Ukraine is serious  about legalizing the crypto because a draft has already been presented to their parliament . This is an indication that the crypto world cannot be ignored anymore by any Government because it has become a major player in the international financial market. I truly hope they are successful in their bid to pass this law as it will inspire others in that region to follow suit.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zimbabwe Bans All Cryptocurrency Activity on: May 16, 2018, 05:24:10 PM
Putting a ban on the crypto exchanges will not severely impact the dealings in bitcoin because remember  crypo is  peer to peer without having to use any banks or financial institution what will be affected is the exchange aspect which isn't an un jumpable hurdle. This a decision that is ill advised though because what you will now find is that people will create unofficial markets to deal with the exchange and this practice is what is unsafe will put people's money at risk and might even breed criminality.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long Bitcoin can survive in cryptocurency industry ? on: May 15, 2018, 11:26:57 PM
in recent times we have seen announcements by mega firms wanting to implement blockchain technology, or even create their own coin .This industry is driven by bitcoins it is the main crypto currency and its price directly affects the price of the other crypto currencies, having said that it is very unlikely that bitcoin will ever crash because it has now gained much respectability and various Governments and private organizations have sought to ingrain the bitcoin technology blockchain into their systems suggesting that it will form part of the new generation of companies and also inspire a new way of conducting business. various states in the USA have also legally began accepting bitcoins as a method of tax payments . We are only looking at bitcoin as a coin that prices goes up and down and from which we can make some money but its actually a lot more , just give it time and we will recognize and be amazed at the picture when its complete.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Like Facebook, will Twitter welcome blockchain?? on: May 15, 2018, 11:16:51 PM
well if they want to improve their product and remain as one of the top social media sites then they should follow suit , people like innovation and this will also serve to increase their membership and help them to also retain their customer base , it will also serve to market the cryptocurrency industry and also force people to educate themselves on the subject matter, and this also provides a means through which twitter can raise monies to improve their product.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: samsung is riding the blockchain train on: May 15, 2018, 06:00:56 PM
this is very good news and also shows that the technology on which bitcoins is based is not only secure but has both reliability ,dependability and the technology is futuristic and technically sound. This is the technology that will dominate the new era.Samsung is one of the leading manufacturers in the technology sector and for them to be making this move, a move that would not have come if they had not done all their studies into this technology and seen all the attributes i alluded to earlier.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THINGS TO REMEMBER BEFORE STARTING on: May 14, 2018, 10:37:57 PM
ive seen people say don't invest more than you can afford to loose , if your investing in a coin and your concerned to the extent that you feel you will loose all your money don't invest in that coin in the first place , there are plenty of coins that give a stable enough return (even if these coins go down in value they will go back up in a short time). Another important issue is don't enter into this realm intending to get rich quick , take your time and learn and research and read a lot so you can improve your understanding of how the ecosystem works. if something sounds too good to be true then usually it is.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tax Collector to Accept Bitcoin on: May 14, 2018, 06:28:29 PM
this shows that bitcoin is being en-grained into the fabric of our society when the tax collector  has added bitcoins as a means of tax payment. It means that they would have done their continuity studies to ensure that this is a sustainable , viable method of collecting taxes. This says a lot about bitcoins and its future in society, its obviously on its way to greatness.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is serious about launching a Crypto !!!!! on: May 13, 2018, 01:51:38 PM
This will definitely be very interesting as we would expect Facebook to develop a proper coin. one would also expect with the many followers that Facebook has and also the fact that its a mega company  that this coin should prove to be very valuable, they have however said they will take their time in developing the coin for use on their platform , i suspect however that plans are tweeked/changed as the development process happens . what is clear though is that they have been working on this for a year now and recently the team working on this project was ramped up in fact David Marcus has particular responsibility for this project, suggesting that this is a very important and major project for them.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS. GOLD on: May 13, 2018, 01:35:50 AM
Gold has been around since time immemorial and has always held its value as the ultimate value item , it is for this reason that it is hard to imagine bitcoin just wiping away this legacy in a measly 5 years or whatever . There is noting to suggest that gold will loose its standard position in the whole scheme of things yes i will agree bitcoins will become a major means of exchange and value but gold is in a separate class and that position in my opinion will never be eroded by bitcoins , both will serve their purpose , they will be complimentary rather than adversarial to each other.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Bitcoins Strategies during downtrend? on: May 12, 2018, 10:46:12 PM
when bitcoins is rising i will normally buy and sell at least two times for the day so if i make 200 fiat dollars each day then that totals 1400 fiat for the week which if the trends continue for the month then i can end up with 5600 fiat for the month (part time trader) . I try to maximize my earnings during these upswings trading as many times as i can for the day depending on the movement of bitcoins. I do all this to ensure that during the down trend i can buy up as many bitcoin as i have available money to do .my only strategy during the downtrend is to basically analyze the market and buy as many coins as is possible at the lowest price, this normally compensates for the downtrend period. There is no need to stress over these periods as they are opportunities to acquire coins at a cheaper price because as is always the trend bitcoins will rise again.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we don't get quality Bitcoin users anymore? on: May 12, 2018, 07:20:41 PM
majority of people entering the bitcoin space is doing so mainly because of the profits to be derived and this is why you will find so many scammers among us because majority of the new members are not interested in taking time out to really learn about the industry including the do and dont's, in addition most of us are trying to get rich quickly and this is the main group that these people focus on . I wish everyone would try and educate themselves and become quality members of course this will have a great impact on the ecosystem but you will be the main beneficiary of this action. This is why so many people have bad things to say because the rush in to get rich quickly without taking the time to understand what they are investing in and as such they make many mistakes and then put the blame on bitcoins , when really we are to be blamed for our ignorance.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: May 12, 2018, 12:09:48 AM
i don't share this position of ignorance , as both the bitcoins and the other coins(commonly called altcoins) are required for the smooth running of the ecosystem .We all must admit that bitcoin has already gone through the gates in terms of pricing , these altcoins now provide that hope for crypto hopefuls who had missed the initial bitcoin wave to have an opportunity by investing in these cheaper altcoins to someday end up with dollar value similar to the high price bitcoin enjoys now a days.some of these altcoins are cheap and can be bought in significant amounts , what this allows is for a coin bough at 0.10 experiencing a rise in its price to 0.20 producing a return of twice whatever you invested , so if you had invested $5000 in that coin your investment would now be valued at $10,000 and this is only from the coin moving from .10 to .20 .. this might sound like children numbers but from a mathematical perspective the price of the coin has doubled and hence your investment would double in value as well.So even an incremental change in the price of an alt coin can translate into thousands of dollars based on the value of your investment and this is why altcoins continues to enjoy a huge following today as it takes less money(some are even less than a dollar) to acquire these coins versus bitcoins which was priced at 8458.57 at the time of this post.
