1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS BTC via Paypal, Dwolla, ACH, Amazon, WU/MG on: March 16, 2013, 04:21:57 PM

No, I'm kinda skeptical without escrow. I don';t like just sending my coins off. Do they have a review thread?

I'm gonna try them out today unless I get a better offer (which i doubt), thanks butterzone, you've been very helpful

9  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / [PHP] Simple Current Rate Snippet on: March 08, 2013, 08:20:56 PM
I've searched and found quite a few WP plugin and other random codes but none seem to work.  I found a javascript one but its too slow.

I'm looking for a simple PHP script to get the current BTC rate. Non-WP.
10  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] AT&T iPhone 4S 16 GB Black with box, case on: March 01, 2013, 10:42:27 AM

I believe these still retail for over $400 USD when purchased without a 2 year contract.  Here are completed listings of the same phone on eBay.  they average between $300 and $400

Dude..Go on your local Craigslist. I just checked mine and 2 other states. 200 is the average but you can get it for as low as 150 pretty often.

Now, on the other hand, the iphone 5 goes for around 400 on local CL again...sure you didn't get your shit mixed up?
11  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Microsoft Surface Windows 8 32GB - Soldout Everywhere! - [Badass!] on: March 01, 2013, 10:28:19 AM

*Face Palm* Hello, Saten, since when were hero members super trolls?

But for real...Thats because the whole "marketplace" is the ENTIRE reason I signed up on this forum. I have never even READ the other forum sections let alone ever thought to post in them! Why the hell would I go post in sections I don't want to for?

And I've been a member for 9hrs! Thats way more than the original 4hrs...but yeah, the second that puppy hit 4hrs i was GONE! Like donkey kong! Aka I was already in the marketplace and had 4 text files of threads saved to my desktop that i was to post the instant I hit the 4hr mark.

I'm pretty sure EVERYONE here anxiously awaited their newbie status to be over and once it was finally was they probably weren't just like "hell ya! no more newbie title! *Goes back to post with his friends in the newbie section* its more like "hell ya brother! newbie status be gone! *runs like hell & trips over himself multiple times while running for newbie exit and previously forbidden sections entrances"

Lastly: I not only am OK with escrow, I [glow=green,2,300]ENCOURAGE [/glow]it!

If aren't taking Bitcoins, you're on the wrong forum...

Sorry, of course I do. For some reason I figured it was a given. I was implying "aside from btc...i accept.."

Not sure why I assumed people would know that, haven't slept in a couple days, I blame it on that. Either way, thank you for pointing that out! I'll go ahead and fix it.

OK..so many of you probably don't already know that this is one badass tablet..why not? Because its pretty damn new and has been sold out since it hit the shelf! I think we all know what a windows 8 tablet can do and I've listed the full description, product features, and spec sheet...I don't think I need to go into too much more detail..If you think I do, then you probably shouldn't be buying this!!

I paid $599 for it. Actually about $650 with tax. Sometimes you can get it for $499 when stores run specials, but it was impossible to get when its at full price! Good luck getting it when they do a $100 off sale!

I'm open to offers, even trades, but if I had my way I'd sell this around $500 cash depsoit/MP. Aside from BTC, I can accept: Liberty Reserve, Moneypak, Dwolla, Ukash, Payza, Paysafecard, Readylink/Vanilla REload.

For Instant Transfers, I'd prefer either: LR, MP, or Dwolla.
For Possibly Delayed Transfers, I'd prefer either: Bank Wire, ACH, or CC.

You're also more than welcome to do a cash deposit at Chase or initiate an online transfer thru Chase.com
14  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling $715 Amazon Account Balance [BTC] on: February 28, 2013, 12:46:07 PM
I'm most definitely interested, but I'm pretty nervous/worried. And the problem is NOT that I'm worried I won't get the money into my account. I'm worried that after I get the money, the escrow funds get released & you are paid, you could simply tell Amazon there is fraudulent activity on your account and wham-bam-triple-am! Royally screwed..Sorry, I've been scammed many times in the past. I now try to think of every possible angle and iron it out ahead of time so I'm no longer surprised.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Could a super hacker make a counterfeit Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2013, 12:18:24 PM

Spending 500000 $ to cheat on a 2,50 $ transaction makes perfect economic sense.

Can you make transactions that low? Never tried...Figured there was a base limit.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoinlaundry.com Didn't work on: February 28, 2013, 12:14:31 PM
I run a bitcoin exchange site which also has a "sell your coins" section to it, sort of like if arumexchange & fastcash4bitcoins got together & had a baby...that'd be my site.

Anyways, back on topic, I've meant to start a bitcoin laundromat service for over a year now..The reason why? Since  (for the most part)  money laundering is pretty damn illegal, most business owner/launderers wouldn't be running their services on a standard tld (.com domain)

They would be running it on an underground network such as TOR. Yes, I could have simply added a laundromat part to my site years ago within 10 minutes, but I didn't and the reason I still have not is because like I said, I don't want that kind of heat or attention out in the public eye.

I'll have to wait til I setup the .onion site I created.

Bottom Line to my long as post: Try searching the tor network of sites. There are a couple searchable directories. I think there is even a bitcoin or tor wiki with a list of bitcoins services.

I can recommend some if you want too.

Hope this helps at least a little!
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Could a super hacker make a counterfeit Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2013, 12:06:15 PM
*Asks himself, aka a super hacker*

Errgh, yes and no..No, not a counterfeit thats just silly.

However they can take over the system by having control over more bad bitcoin nodes then good ones.

Once that happens they can do some pretty crafty (&shady) shit. Easiest way to put it is duping..they'd send coins to someone (most likely large amounts such as cashing out their hundreds or probably thousands of bitcoins..get the cash, then automatically the coins will be reversed and go back to the original sender...why? cause he who controls the nodes, he hath control of zee system!

If that were the case...watch out!...
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with making an online wallet local? on: February 28, 2013, 12:02:51 PM

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie restrictions on: February 28, 2013, 12:01:57 PM
I really don't understand the whole newbie restrictions thing..you can make 5 posts in the newbies section in <1min just by replying to threads like a damn troll like i see on here SO much!

The whole 4hr thing is a little better, but still worthless. Select never log out from site and bam, once an hour come back and check on it, do this 4 times, boom! timer up! now a full member!

bullspit...

But hey, if i were in charge idk what the hell id do to prevent the super baddies from destroying our land. So I'm not saying its your poor imagination, I'm simply saying I wish there was a better system in play!

20  Other / Beginners & Help / ACH Banking Transfers? on: February 27, 2013, 09:26:23 AM
I am interested in purchasing a decent amount of bitcoins via ACH transfer and I was curious about the process and information given.

Me as the sender, for example would go into my online banking account, click send payment, then enter the account number + routing info. OK done.

My question is, how much information about the seller do I have access to? When I click pending/sent payments and view the one I just made, is all that will show up the info that I entered ? (account/routing #s) or will I be able to see the sellers name or address or any other info like that?

Thanks in advance!
