memory +1000 ? Am I right?
This is a very large overclocking for this graphics card. Try + 700 and add gradually if it is stable.
Perhaps it is better to keep the video card and not to put above 800.

My nVidia 1080Ti can only +700.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: No change in bitcoin price for 24 hours on: June 13, 2018, 03:32:11 PM
Man for the first time ever I am so depressed, I did not even open my exchanges accounts since the fall, my funds took huge hit -50% . For the first time I do not really know what I should do . But I have decided it is too late for any action now and all I need to do is to shell and set tight hope for a miracle  Cheesy .

If you had experience in late 2013 to early 2016, then you will not be so depressed.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dash hit $1000 by January? on: November 22, 2017, 05:08:06 PM
most of the coins right now are higher compare before during first quarter of the month. Dash has a chance to increase by 1k$ but I doubt it will be on January.

The Dash rose 12% today. It seems $1000 is in sight.
4  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-18] The Stampede Is Coming on: October 19, 2017, 01:34:54 PM
The traditional VC route really has not paid off so far. It would've done far, far better going into the coins themselves.

This basically goes up with anything in the crypto world that can be invested in.

1. Whatever form of mining -> Buying Bitcoin itself has always been far more rewarding.
2. Lending -> Buying Bitcoin itself has always been far more rewarding.
3. Investing in whatever startup or business -> Buying Bitcoin itself has always been far more rewarding.

And I could probably continue with far more examples, but you get the point. I have never seen anything in investing my money into whatever crypto related investment option, because I know that investing directly in Bitcoin itself will greatly outperform any other investment by a huge distance. It surprises me that people still haven't noticed this. Roll Eyes

I agree with that. The difficulty of mining is rising too fast. It is better to buy the coin itself.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 18, 2017, 02:34:18 PM
I have random hang problem with v10.0, win 10, block chain driver.
I give up now and changed to sgminer with lower hashrate, no devfee and no more random hang problem now.

You can reduce the clock, that should make it more stable.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st? on: July 07, 2017, 03:28:59 PM
The news that on 1 August there will be problems provoked panic. It was not such as hoped for whales, and therefore there will be no problems. The first rule of behavior in times of panic is to keep calm. I will also calmly waiting for the moment when the situation normalizes.

I will buy some altcoins now. When the bitcoin price drops due to the split, I will buy back bitcoin.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.4 (Windows/Linux) on: April 23, 2017, 06:59:19 AM
Need advice! My rig is equipped with 2 Radeon 7990 and one r9 280, total 1450 sols/s. Very pleased! My aim is to mine enough coins to buy newer gpus that Are more power efficent without losing speed. Any suggestions? My mobo can handle 3 gpus max.

fury. 470-500 sols with 225 watts

That is not very efficient.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: March 12, 2017, 03:21:03 PM
What is the hash rate for Sapphire R9 Fury?

R9 Fury is much more profitable to mine the ZCash. It cannot use the 4096 cores properly when mining ETH.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy my Btc now or wait it dumps a bit ? on: February 26, 2017, 09:03:12 AM
Hi guys....as you see i am a noob but not for longtime... Wink

I have around 10 k euro to invest in cryptos...

Should i buy right now my Btc or wait a bit the price go down ?

Buy AMD stock....far far more upside potential than Bitcoin has with none of the systemic risk.

......(but wait for a pullback in that as well)

I think the bitcoin will rise faster than the AMD stock.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.4 (Windows/Linux) on: January 05, 2017, 04:47:50 PM
on my
7990 and 7950 (6&3 gb) i geth OpenCL error -4 (0) - cannot create DAG on GPU
r7 370 (2 gb) i geth OpenCL error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG. Check readme.txt for possible solutions
but i have a 380 (2gb) this works smoothly

why my r7 370&7990&7950 it does not work anymore Claymore?

You need to set the virtual memory to be 16GB or higher.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go up another 100% on: December 21, 2016, 07:52:14 PM
bitcoin price will be around 4000-5000 USD per coin one day and that is already a couple of 100% rises and it will only happen slowly. i think something around 100% rise each year (give or take) is a good estimate of the future rises.

The thing with that is BTCBTCBTC will lose it's purpose, at least when when it comes to doing microtransactions.

No it will not. Bitcoin will never lose its purpose as long as the dark markets are around. If you can give a good alternative to Bitcoin to be used by drug vendors, internet criminals and scammers, ransomware hackers and other underground markets that are not served by the banks then that it might lose its purpose.

I think the ZCash is more suitable for the dark market.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.2 on: December 20, 2016, 03:17:53 PM
There is the proof - https://i.imgsafe.org/949d2c9995.jpg

Got confused with temps and wrote them the other way around but it is what it is.

GPU1 is my RX 470.

That's why people were calling you on it as the numbers didn't make sense.
Now they do so everyone can move on. 220 h/s is quite normal.

He said the speed is 277H/s.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: December 05, 2016, 05:19:58 PM
Without Claymore and ZEC I probably should throw away or sell cheap my 50+ R9 280X cards.. so - respect. Smiley

If your planning on binning them I'll happily take them off your hands for free  Grin

I will let You know if I am ready to bin cards. Smiley
Until ZEC is still profitable for 280Xs it will not happen.

I think Zec has reached its level now, at about the $50-$55 area. I cant really see it dropping to much in price now.

Main thing I can see affecting profitability going forwards I think will be the difficulty.

Agreed, if it gets any lower than $50 I'll be going back to ETH or Monero

Can you still make any profit from the ZEC mining?
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Capital Controls on Bitcoin on: November 09, 2016, 08:02:49 AM
It will be surely bad if those thousands of Chinese speculators will be shut out but it will not make Bitcoin "die". Far from it sir.

it's enough to set everyone else off into a panic to put it in the doldrums for a long time. and it's probably hundreds of chinese speculators. everyone else on the chinese markets is american or european.

I think the Chinese speculators will affect the price of bitcoin quite a lot. If they are not allowed to own bitcoin, the price will drop.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.3 (Windows/Linux) on: November 04, 2016, 08:10:37 AM
Checking this post 100 times a day for news about Claymore's miner.

It's not the miner that the world needs, it's the miner that the world deserves.
And we'll haunt this thread. Because he can take it. Because he is not our hero.
He's a silent coder, a watchful protector. The Dank Claymore.

I am doing the same. This thread is no longer Ethereum mining only. It is a place to communicate about ZCash.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: October 16, 2016, 06:20:04 PM
Altcoins this month are going up and down too easy, potcoin went up a lot and down more faster, soo you must always choose when to get inside a pump or avoid it, those interest made several people dump their coins almost instant.

The potcoin was coin of the week in the last week. This week, it could be the Etheruem after hard fork.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 02, 2016, 05:32:03 PM
bank or bitcoin wallet? I think both have their own advantages and disadvantages. for security I prefer to the bank because it is proven safe. but to be able to get more profits, bitcoin wallet is very easy for it

That is my choice too I will not just going to choose only one but rather what I am going to do is use them both with their advantages. I like the services of banks for they are proven for a long time depending on the local bank that you are going to use and if something happened to your money you have assurance that they are eligible for it. But with bitcoin, when something happened to your bitcoin, the bitcoin wallet providers are not eligible for it.

If the banks accept the bitcoin and give you interest in saving with them, it is better to save the bitcoin in the banks.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: September 15, 2016, 04:57:00 PM
I'm also not selling any bitcoins because the bitcoin will go to a higher amount soon or later.
I have a good feeling about the bitcoin future due to that I think its better to just hold them for a while.

Yeah its better to hold them for next couple of months and sell when price goes higher, but if you have bought your coins at lower price in the past then you can sell some of  them at current price and secure the profits.

I think it is better to hold the bitcoin for even longer period. I bought some 15 months ago, I still have them.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: September 04, 2016, 07:44:19 AM
I'm saving it now as I don't feel that it is the right time to sell, at current price is not too high, in my opinion, but If I try to have more patience I can expect better profits.

The bitcoin price just rose 5% in the last few days. I think it will rise further. So it is better to wait for the good prices.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: August 20, 2016, 03:58:30 PM
Im investing small ammounts of bitcoin into some altcoins that i believe are under the real value, soo i will hold them till end the year atleast and then i will think what i will do if sell or wait a bit more, usually the savings returns good profits and almost without risk.

You never know what to expect. It's the worst thing here. And investing in altcoins small sums (I guess a few cents/bucks) has small profits too. And if you invest in 5, for example, 2 of them can rise and 3 can fall in price. And you can go in negative profit.

I wish you best of luck, but I don't think investing small amounts would bring you mich profit.

The development of the bitcoin has slowed done recently. That is the reason of the bitcoin price drop. People are investing in good altcoins.
