I'd like to stress, to this day, we have never ever scammed anyone.

If you have an order that has not processed, we will refund the fees always and honor the BTC price.

Just an update... after MANY emails & PMs to everyone I could at bitinstant, I finally had my FEBRUARY 19TH ORDER processed last night (MARCH 11TH) by Rachel.  Here's the catch: Bitcoins were $28-$29 when I placed my order... and $43-$44 when it was finally filled by bitinstant.  My fees were NOT refunded, NOR were the original bitcoin prices honored.  I took a big hit here.  I e-mailed Rachel, asking about their promise of refunding fees and honoring bitcoin price... so I guess I'll wait and see if I actually get a response, or if they fix it.  But based on what I've dealt with so far, I highly doubt they will.  I will keep you guys posted.
Good luck everyone!

This is beyond ridiculous, can we get some answers bitinstant?

That would be wonderful.

I'm still waiting for the order I paid for on 02.19.2013 to go through!  They said they'd take care of it, then nothing... and I seem to be being ignored as well as all my e-mails & PM's continue to go unanswered.  Starting to think I lost my money. Undecided
It's a shame because I very much liked bitinstant.  I really hope they rectify this.  Not to mention bitcoins have gone from $28 to $43 a piece since I placed my order....very frustrating.

you better make sure you get quoted at an updated bitcoin price when you get you coins.  They have gone up about 10 bucks a coin in 3 weeks lol.  It was at $35.00 last night and I wake up and they are at $40.00.

Thanks.. Yeah, thats a great point.  The day I made the deposit... BTC was fluctuating between $28 - $29 each on the btc-e exchange.  That figures.

I am right there with you guys.  I made my cash desposit via bitinstant/zipzap THREE WEEKS AGO today, and still have not been updated on where my missing money is, despite my multiple PM's and e-mails.  I really hope I get a response soon.  I know they helped a lot of other people already, so I'm hoping they will fix this and I didn't lose my money.

[crazyfunmolly79 - please don't advertise competitors on this thread - we're working on the current issues and will not be remaining down.

Sorry... I honestly wasn't trying to advertise.  People were asking for other reliable methods to use while your site is down, I was only trying to help.

Hey Guys.... I used bitfloor on Monday (since the rest of my money was still tied up with bitinstant).  I have to say, it was GREAT!  As long as you are near a Bank of America (BoA), and can get there during business hours.  I deposited cash at BoA, and the money was in my bitfloor account within the hour.  You can INSTANTLY buy bitcoins, and transfer them to your wallet address... took about 2.5 hours TOTAL from going into BoA with my cash, until the time my bitcoins were usable in my final wallet address.  It was my 1st time doing it this way (since I usually do a cash deposit to bitcoin wallet via bitinstant) - but I have to say... it was REALLY easy & fast.  It will probably be my new method if bitinstant stays down.  Hope this helps!

I made a USD cash deposit on 02-19-2013 (MoneyGram)... And I still have not received my money.  No response from support (e-mail OR chat), no response from Rachel e-mail, one e-mail response from Charlie (over a week ago) saying he'd personally see it was resolved... and then nothing.  No money, no responses since.  I just tried to e-mail Charlie, Rachel, and Support and my e-mails bounced back saying their bitinstant.com server rejected them because those "users no longer exist".  I am really worried now.  I created an account on this forum so that I try the PM method to Garth & Rachel and hope I get a response.
