1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM (Primecoin) GPU Miner & Pool xpmforall.org on: June 28, 2017, 01:36:35 AM
All I changed in the config.txt is:

server = "coinsforall.io";
# server = "xpmforall.org";
port = "6666";
# Your XPM payout address
address = "....your XPM address here....";

on the coinsforall.io site, the same address in the settings and set the minimal payout to whatever you want.  I have mine at 10 XPM.  If you ever want to switch to xpmforall.org, just move the hash (#) from the one server = line to the other.

Do you have any stability issues? My RX 580/570/480 keep crashing
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [Question] XPM Mining Stability on: June 27, 2017, 02:57:05 PM
I have been trying to mine XPM on and off. I keep coming back to the same issue. Eventually one or more of my cards will crash. There doesn't seem to be an Intensity setting but individual tuning settings. I am running 1x RX 480 / 2x RX 570 / 1x RX 580 on Windows 10 x64 with AMD 17.4.4 Drivers.

If anyone is able to provide some insight into stability. I would love to mine this coin!

I am currently running 4 RX Cards (RX 480/570x2/580) and I would like to Mine XPM but it keeps causing my cards to crash. Is there any way to lower the intensity? I am running these on Windows 10 x64 Pro. AMD Drivers 17.4.4
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is there any FPGA-based miner for LTC? on: April 24, 2013, 05:19:42 PM
there is another thread on the forums where someone is discussing this. Last I heard, there is one under development. It is unclear what stage the device is in. The guy building it isn't taking investors or anything, so information is limited to what he decides to reveal.

We are most likely have fpgas shipping in under 4 months. But I cannot get any more accurate than that for now.

would you be able to give any ranges in price or hashing expectations? also are FPGA Boards Standalone (meaning No need to get a motherboard/CPU/Ram/HDD/etc.)

Hey guys, I just installed 2 7970's yesterday and actually broke my 7950 in the same day... but thats a different story...

My problem is i finally after months got CGMiner to work! Got the AMD SDK and most recent version of Catalyst. However with the 2 cards together each is getting about 380 Kh/s
I took screenshots for your convenience.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocoin Mining Information -- find the most profitable coin to mine! on: April 20, 2013, 02:48:25 PM
Hey i was wondering where you were getting your stats from because for some reason terracoin (at the moment) says 399% profitability vs btc... other times it will be 600% ... Are you taking these from pool? p2pool?
13  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: SUPER low hash rates with CG miner on a 7950... on: April 16, 2013, 05:36:05 PM
Yes, i'd like to use CGminer with 7950 on LTC.
(also if you could im also getting 4x 7970 sapphire Vapor-x's)

Information:
AMD Radeon HD 7900 series
Device ID 679A
...

BIOS Version 0.15.026.000.000

Driver Packagng Version:
8.982-120727a-145315C-ATI
14  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / SUPER low hash rates with CG miner on a 7950... on: April 16, 2013, 01:49:55 AM
So whenever i use CGMiner for ANY Coin... i get about 1.250 MH/s ... i have a 7950 and obviously thats not what i should be getting... if im mining TRC LTC BTC whatever... im getting 1.250 MH/s and nothing shows up in the pool...

Here are the settings im running from a .bat file in the directory with CGminer...

cgminer.exe -o http://coinotron.com:3335 -u nightwolf92.1 -p 1 --worksize 256 --vectors 1 -I 20 -d 0 --auto-fan --temp-target 79 --gpu-memclock 1250 -g 1

16  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: a bit of a panic need help with card placement on the mobo/case on: April 11, 2013, 05:01:26 AM
I need a case that allows 4x crossfire or basically a setup that will allow the 4 cards to sit next to eachother ... once that gets fixed then i can figure out risers...

PCIE 1x to 16x is fine... but i need at least 4 slots that i can evenly space out 4 cards...
i need a new mobo...
17  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / a bit of a panic need help with card placement on the mobo/case on: April 11, 2013, 04:48:21 AM
Okay! so i ordered my 4 7970's for one rig... with an ASRock 970 Extreme4...

Problem...
If you take a look at the board...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157262

you can see that there are
3 PCIE 16x Slots...
2 PCIE 1x Slots
2 PCI Slots... <- wtf are these for...

My problem being the spacing between the PCIE 16x and PCIE 1x slots... will most likely not fit 4 cards... (am i wrong)?

Ive heard of using risers and that fun junk... but I was wondering what your recommendations are....
Should i return the board for one that would fit it... any recommendations on that?

also I got a thermaltake case... with 8 PCI Slots in the back (each 7970 is a double wide card so 2x4=8)
Case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133194

please give me recommendations to make this work!!!
Thanks!
18  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7970 vs 7950 vs 5970 on: April 11, 2013, 04:36:52 AM
May I suggest the HIS IceQX2 7970's I picked 4 up the other day for $350 each they are treating me very nicely good temps with all 4 of them on a MOBO no risers [got to wait for local shop to get some in stock] and they each get 660 mh/s at a nice stable 75c with fans going 60%. So once I get the risers should have some OC room with those temps
what mobo?
and how do you use risers in a case? i dont get it lol... it doesnt add space or anything...
19  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7970 vs 7950 vs 5970 on: April 11, 2013, 04:29:27 AM
i guess you got the xfx ones that are on sale.

they are voltage locked and have terrible cooling.
Nope... sapphire Vapor-x
