^  I can believe that. Putin will not do something that push the west to the wall that leaves the west with no option but nukes. This is why negotiations are made but seem like Trump says nothing about Putin's demand in Alaska.

My bet is that they want EU to fight against Russia. Sadly for them, Russia is not alone.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tank Davis on: August 28, 2025, 03:50:31 PM
Also no one thought before that he would reach unto this level on which he would fight those past and current champions. At this point this is already huge achievement for his life and its a bonus that he earn huge for those fights he made.
That’s right, instead of criticizing him, we should praise him for being an inspiration, that even a vlogger can turn into a fighter like him. Look at how he takes care of his body. Even if it’s just exhibition fights, the fact that he’s stepping in the ring means he’s risking his life too.

So far, there’s no other vlogger in boxing who’s been as successful as him.

This is the power of social media influence on any matter in the world. Influencer that has high charisma can demand everything of his fans supported it.

Through professional sports perspective, this is unfair since fighter dedicated their time on training and climbing through their rank just to have a match on the champion while this influencer can demand a challenge to champion and earn huge amount by simply being popular on social media.

No real record however for boxing. All just a content creation for Jake. He doesn't tank on any boxing organization but only his boxing promotion that plans all these and if weren't for the money, those well known boxing personalities wouldn't fight against him.

If this fight still ends up in a draw, this will really make people frustrate and maybe people will realize soon all these stunts are just to take money from them.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: australia's weird gambling culture on: August 26, 2025, 02:12:38 PM

Maybe because Aussies now realized casino games are rigged mate.

Besides people today are just playing online so if there are slots in every gasoline station, they might find it too old school to play on it but rather do it on their phones. But its also true that people are now going for sports betting which I am also into.  Maybe the influence on popular people who been betting on sports, its easier to do after all everyone is a fan of some sports.

^  Wtf...  Did the guy fck around with the Jackson's son's gf or something?  I can't imagine any other reason a man would beat another man to death except if it's related to a woman.

Hope the story is fake.

Anyway, here's the roster for the next event.

Story isnt fake. Just google Rampage Jackson son and read all yourself. Imho Jacksons son received too many (or too little) strikes to the head and something went wrong in his mind. He has attacked that dude, because he did not like judging during wrestling and how unfair (from his point of view) that guy has acted during wrestling match. When I saw the part of a video when he was punching unconscious guy, after 4-5 punches, I was wtf, why nobody is stopping that? Why real ref just stand and watch? Why other wrestlers just watch? His actions are considered as attempted murder and he would face serious troubles for that.

As next event, I see some good names here. Imavov, another fighting nerd, Craig, Bukauskas, Tibyra, Delija, BSD

We wasn't part of the match, he just barged in and then went straight to slamming the guy and then kept punching despite the guys being unconscious. To what I understood he said he was too tired of being disrespected?

It took 3 people to finally stopped him and then they just let him walk away. This bearded guy doesn't have friends?
If that bearded man is already dead, Raja gonna do some time in jail. There is no way he gonna get away with this, unless that man will not charge.

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right or Wrong Way :How did you start your gambling journey and how is it going? on: August 25, 2025, 02:19:39 PM
Guys who have not been gambling since and only started gambling when they got into crypto especially in this forum actually just learn gambling because they see more casinos in crypto. One that I remember a user started to learn to gamble because he joined a signature campaign.

And just to try how the casino works, he been betting then on.  This is likely what had happened to some of us here as they tried learning crypto. Not so very nice experience but only because he was curious.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you increase your bet? on: August 23, 2025, 02:45:07 PM
Adjusting my bet when its bull run  Cheesy

Axtually when I see that luck is on my side, I tend to increase what I wager. If in regular weekends I just bet around $5 per game, I tend to double it when I see I'm lucky and my money increased higher. I seem to feel confident that my analysis is getting good. Just today I increased my wager, I lost lol

Damn it. The moment I did it, its also the time I lose the bet.

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 22, 2025, 04:39:43 PM

They obviously want Zhang Mingyang while Walker can be a good entertainer inside the octagon. Zhang winning this fight with Chinese audience will really make the audience go wild.  UFC didn't let Zhang Weili fight in this card.

If the guy has troubles making weight as a professional fighter, this means only two things, either he has an injury or retirement is knocking at the door. This possibly a safe bet to place in Ortega vs Funk Master fight. As usually, not an advice, but chances for Ortega to lose are high, so maybe consider placing a bet on Sterling. As well as chances for Walker to be KOed. I am thinking of placing a multi bet Cheesy

Ya seem an easy pick Zhang, Palvo and Aljo, just 3. This even would be more entertaining if Trump attends seeing the political tension between 2 countries.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Addiction in gambling on: August 22, 2025, 04:21:33 PM
Let their brother or sister give the advice not you. You gonna get in trouble by randomly just giving an advice, if they don;t ask from you then just mind your own business.

We know gambling addiction can ruin his life and the people around him. We have seen the worst on some documentaries regarding this, its not good especially if he is a family man. Falling from grace is always not pretty.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would the gambling industry survive if people only played for fun only? on: August 21, 2025, 02:59:48 PM
Let me explain the thread title. I know a lot of us here would say we should be gambling for fun, but in reality most people don’t gamble just for fun, they do it mainly for profit. Even if they lose, they keep coming back because they hope to eventually become profitable in gambling.

But what if people stop aiming for profit and gamble only for fun, what do you think would be the impact on the gambling industry?
if people decide to stop aiming for profit and gambling for fun, the gambling industry will not survive. there is no body that will succeed in business if people  dont patronize him. the primary reason for every business person is to make profit. even if the casino was programed to be gambling for fun, it will just be an  online game where you just play on demo. the only way they would be making their money would be downloading of the app from play store. each download would have generated income for them.

It will still survive because they gamble for fun yet there will still be money involve. Just like what is happening today, we gamble for fun and yet we are losing money everyday and yet we still keep playing.

In sports we kept betting and although we win, part of the money goes to the casino, they profit whether we win or lose. There is nothing to lose for a casino but they will always make a way for people to gamble.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could decentralization in AI make a difference ? on: August 21, 2025, 02:45:11 PM

Its still a machine so its always going  to need a human.

However if the AI is really that sophisticated like it can take care of itself that it will look for power sources, maintain itself and orders parts of fabricate something for its use that it need not humans, it might just be decentralized. Unless outside factors can destroy it like human. Nothing  still can stand on its own unless we allow it.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tank Davis on: August 21, 2025, 02:24:31 PM

The circus continues. Even if Tank clearly knows more about boxing and can strike harder than Jake, I don't think someone is going to win in this fight, it will still be a draw. Just a show for all those who wants to be entertained.

I just hope Tank will do it like it doesn't matter. KO Jake once and for all so that we'll know how fake this guy is. No boxing organization tried to oppose Jake about his production but I'm guessing he also pay them?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Universal Basic Income on Blockchain? on: August 20, 2025, 06:07:07 PM
There are four projects like that here in our country. 3 of them are in exchange for a little work, mostly it's like community service only. The other one is where most poor people are flocking. If you have kids and cannot raise them on your own, the government will provide something monthly in your ATM, like you are getting a salary from the taxes of the people.

Many taxpayers are angry about this method because they believe it's unfair that someone who cannot find a job dares to have kids. It's like they are paying tax to make someone lazier. I don't know about injecting it into cryptocurrencies, but I highly doubt that will happen.

That's the same in US where they provide for the homeless. Not exactly what people would approved but the government is willing to support the homeless because this is the responsibility of the government.

I don't think there will be a UBI in blockchain unless they will really mandate everyone to downlaod a wallet on their phone and then they will send some stablecoin on it regardless of an individual is a homeless or not. But stimulus packages might just be posible.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours do you play in slots? on: August 20, 2025, 05:14:51 PM
For me, I sometimes play for hours and really enjoy the game, but there are times when my eyes start to hurt, especially when I’m watching with so much excitement. It feels like it’s not healthy anymore. What advice would you give to those who can relate to my experience?

If you are gambling until your eyes hurt you are either really good at gambling, or really addicted.  What other sources of entertainment do you have in your life?

I can honestly say that I haven't played a single slot machine or even placed a bet in 2025.  Pretty wild considering how much I talk about gambling...  Have you tried gambling without risking real money to see if you still find it as entertaining?

Perhaps you need something in your life to distract you if you have this much free time to gamble.  Have you thought about getting a pet or joining a sports league of some kind?

That's what he should be doing, looking for something to get busy. A hobby or something to do other than screen time, riding a bike for example is a good hobby for it sets him outside the house and get busy finding a spot to take pictures.

Too much exposure to phone or the desktop screen will only make him more addicted to games. It could dry the eyes and sure surely the tears will roll down without emotional reason.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: August 20, 2025, 04:11:48 PM

RDR may not also succeed in defeating Khamzat, unless he could land hard strike of Khamzat if not Khamzat will still win trying to submit RDR. I was rooting for DDP that fight thinking he could land a strike since he is well rounded in either ground or standing. But it didn't stop Khamzat charging and then taking him every time.  Khamzat will stay as a champ for a long time.

The cage interview was funnier, he already annoyed Dana right in the cage.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Impacts of sports betting on the Sports industry on: August 19, 2025, 04:12:53 PM
You already stated everything and no one can deny the fact that sports betting is the major revenue generator of the sports industry. Just check how many of the clubs are sponsored by betting companies, it cut across leagues. Before now, there were traditional pools that featured soccer and affiliated to the bookies. They contribute to the funding of sporting activities, in my neighborhood, they sponsor different types of sporting activities. Sports betting actually makes the sports industry more interest as it brings money into the entertainment that sports is all about.

Especially because people can just watch and bet on their phones as they watch the sports also just on their phones. And then they also participate in the discussions on social media while they brag about how much they have won in a particular match.

Kind of magnifying the scope because of the social media and fan are drawn to the attention how lively the discussion and see people benefit from the sports they love watching.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whistle to whistle advertising ban on: August 19, 2025, 03:58:22 PM

For a gambler who have been betting for awhile, you wouldn't be worrying about ban on advertising before the event, you already know where to bet or which platform you chose.

If it reduces the gambling rate, its not going to be an issue for you anyway. But for the casino they may find it a set back when potential number gamblers that should have been drawn to their platform pulls back. But let them worry about it.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on cockfighting? on: August 19, 2025, 03:36:08 PM
Cockfighting is available in Asia countries although they can only have it in a secret place because of the government regulations that prohibit it. Some people here are still doing this but they don't show in public because polices will arrest them. Some people do not agree with that because they think that is too cruel to animals.

When Covid hit, they could not do that but when Covid reduced, cockfighting continued but this time, they are strict with people who want to participate. They don't allow many people in one room but that is temporary because after the situation returns to normal, they do that in the black market.
I think someone should intervene, these events are pure evil towards animals and those who organize them and those who bet on them are simply bad people, this thing must change immediately and I hope that someone takes action to stop this brutality towards these poor animals.

Chickens are not in the list of endangered specie. There are probably billions of them than the population of humans in the world, they are being slaughtered everyday for our food on the table. They are however for some people are fun to watch fighting and its a game like boxing or MMA.

Just like the dog fight in other countries, its a sports to watch and the better the dog, the more fans like it.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets will react trump putin meeting results make ur bets on: August 18, 2025, 05:10:51 PM

What is making the market reach is US is not clear with his response to Putin. Because to Putin, he seem to be clear with his demands. Its going to be all out war and Ukraine will all be taken if there will be negotiations that will happen. And Trump will not like that. However is Trump says nothing clear response that Putin couldn't see positive result, there is nothing to talk about but war continues and this is what makes the markets move.
