**edit** My account appears to have been hacked some time ago (about 2 yrs ago Im guessing). I never use this site and just saw all of these posts that were NOT from me! There are about 20 or so posts that I have no idea where they came from. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Please don't deposit without receiving the go-ahead from us first!  These surprise deposits of $4k+ are not acceptable!

looking forward to your return! sorry to hear about wells. seems that they closed bitcopias account too! wth??
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where to learn more? on: March 09, 2013, 04:51:52 PM
seems to be a bit compicated selling on places like this site when you're new though. Ive purchased bc last year at a bit over $5 a coin. Thought about selling them but have instead enjoyed watching them grow. But if/when the time comes and I want to sell them, its a challenge on here without a reputation I guess.

6  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Easiest way buying Bitcoins?? on: March 09, 2013, 01:31:52 AM
ive used blue sky traders who take cash through boa (which is not near me) and was interested in trying bitcopia but their service has been all over the place lately although they seem to be back on track now. they use cash through wells which is near me.

damn looks like bi may be done for good then. a shame too bc they were the first company i used last year when i began buying bc. loved their cash deposit to bc address. too bad.... Cry

hmmm...i just checked and cash to bc address isnt an option anymore. i suspect there was another issue with that service hence the delay in your order. there have been issues with this method bitinstant offers for some time now. im truly sorry that this had to be your first experience but bitinstant used to be great to use. i used them for a while before they stopped offering cash to bc address. now i use a couple of different vendors.

may i ask who you use now?

buying btc is hard without bitinstant in the united states if you dont live in a localbitcoins.com area and dont want to wait and use your bank account to fund

i use bitcopia when its operating, they use wells fargo which i have near me, i also use a vendor from another tor site that accepts basically any form of payment available.

wish i could find a bc vendor who doesnt use cash deposit at bank of america! i dont have any where i live but do have other national banks (wells, pnc) but have been unable to find companies who use them. bitcopia uses wells but their website has been all over the place lately.

I imagine you have already found this (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Buying_bitcoins) resource. ZIGGAP looks like they accept cash deposits for BTC at PNC and Camp BX for Wells Fargo. Hope this helps.

i have seen that site. ive been to ziggaps website and saw bank of america mentioned and chase (which theyre not offering at the moment.)neither are near me.  i also see wu as an option which i dont prefer. the campbx site says that the cash deposit option is only available for those accounts that are verified with them. in order to be verified they need a colored copy of your id and other security things that im not comfortable with.  so the search continues...

wtf is this? you're posting about a website selling illegal drugs?
you should be banned

Im speculating but perhaps its being mentioned because they are a site that among other things, sells and buys bitcoins?

i would imagine that reputable bc vendors who accept cash in the mail may be a more anonymous method? or those who accept moneygram or some sort of reloadble card. that requires that you purchase and load the card however. aquiring coins has imo always been the largest hurdle.

am i missing something? fastcash4bitcoins appears to be a site that buys bitcoins from people is that right? you cant purchase bitcoins from them?
