hi i have more then 50 posts here, but still got zero merit. I tried my best to write replies that can help other people and also me in acquiring merit but no success. is there any strategy that can help me getting merit
I think, its sync on me now, how merit affect user ranking and self motivation. Its been harder now to rank up, but in exchange of good quality post.I think you're in the right track, just a little patience. And maybe we need posting to help, not just post to gain merit. Simple but I guess its worth the effort.

my biggest mistake was to request merit under one of them and I can not join any signing campaign at the moment. I recommend you do not run away easily. otherwise your account will be garbage like mine.
And I hope you've learned from that mistake. If we commit mistake even if how small they are. We have to learned from it, and it makes us better. Learning from mistakes is the far better way to learn it. Because you learned it the hard way. I guess MERIT is like a Lesson, valuable lesson, but asking for merit is a BIG mistake. Because if someone giving you a lesson, example just hand it to you, is it make sense or not? In my opinion, the merit system tends to appreciate the forum more, you earned it the hard way like lessons we learned.

I just came back today from I just can't remember why suddenly I forgot to visit bitcointalk, and merit is the first thing that caught my attention. My opinion is I think its fair. Some just didn't see or appreciate it at first, but its a good thing, that you post or comment not just for activity but to add sense with it. Merit is something you gain when someones agree with you, or grant because you doing a great thing in the forum. And I think its a great way of appreciating other. Hope they didn't add demerit button, that was UNFAIR.

research is a must if you go trading, buy coins that you think have potential grow in the future, have access on lots of trading sites, learn how to read charts, sometimes, in trading 1, have lower buy rate but high sell rate, than trading 2, vice versa, note: if you go trading, you have to track price change hourly, I think traders don't sleep.

its just ripples time to pump, when bitcoin pump again, ripple will left behind, long long way to overtake bitcoins status.

If its for investing, invest on ico's, or try altcoins like ETN/Electroneum, and XLM/Stellar. research will do some help. Goodluck

It's a tough choice to decide whether to sell some of your bitcoin or keep all of it invested. Some experts recommend selling between 20% and 50% if you are risk-averse or have pressing financial needs. It also makes sense to sell some of your bitcoin if you don't want to wait years for a potentially massive payoff.

If you believe you sync that device with one of your cloud storage, there's a possibility you can retrieve it. PC recovery tools I think it only work on removable storage.

Dear bounty manager. Why i got 0 stake for previos week ?
Maybe because you've got negative trust now, sorry for that. but you're more than 4 weeks in campaign, so you still got your stake at the end of the campaign.

The transaction fees are raging due to several factors. One is the size of the block in Bitcoin's blockchain, which is limiting the number of transactions that can go through at any given time. Bitcoin's network is powered by miners, people and companies who use a tremendous amount of computing power to create new bitcoins. And when there's too many transactions to process which currently happens very often miners will prioritize transactions that pay a higher fee.
Using Altcoin is a good alternative to lower the transaction cost, yes changelly is a good exhanger, me I used Poloniex as online wallet, 0.0001btc fee for bitcoin transaction.(I don't know how fast the transaction is, i never monitor it)

In the short term, probably not. There have been a lot of other alt currencies (litecoin, dogecoin, etc) that have been popping up, but don't seem to have what Bitcoin does. I think down the road potentially, but as of now the focus seems to be on how to make Bitcoin better, safer and more accessible.

- More use cases, example: services utilizing BTC - A rising price (this sounds funny, but a raising price itself will fuel additional demand).
Yes, that sounds funny. Because additional demand means increased on its price. And when its rising, its either drop next or rise even more.

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Gambling is risky, Investing on bitcoin is risky, it feels like investing on bitcoin is like gambling, too risky.

Goodluck
