Id like some feedback See above....... EDIT: Seems much smoother so far. If I can trade for a few days without issues I will be suitably impressed.

Someone finally got round to sorting my issue.
Normally I would apologize at this point for being irate, but I feel it was well deserved in this case, and I caution others not to put too much trust into cryptsy until they have responsive and publically visible support in place. That means staffing your IRC channel, and responding properly to complaints on forums.

My order is still "currently processing" after many hours. Price has dropped quite a bit and, once again, I have made a loss due to this bug.
I wouldn't mind so much, but BitJohn posted about new coin additions literally 2 posts after mine, an acknowledgement would be nice. It took just a few minutes to sort out yesterday after I posted my issue here, so it is obviously a simple fix when someone finally gets round to it...
My sell order is still stuck processing after 10 hours, despite the fact that the market has tanked like a bitch and is nowhere near that price any more. Give me my coins back please, this is ridiculous. Ticket #70012 Almost 24 hours now, order still won't cancel, and no reply to my ticket or on the forum, despite the fact that staff have been online. I'm normally a polite and easy-going person, but this is, quite frankly, fucking bullshit. It's no wonder people get so pissed off with Cryptsy. Every time someone like me has to repost an issue like this, it just makes you guys look less professional. I have 10k+ trades on your site, but I will go elsewhere and will advise others to do the same if you don't sort out your customer service issues soon. Stop taking the piss and just cancel my fucking order please.

I've had a sell order stuck "currently processing" and unable to cancel for the last 12 hours, even though the market has tanked like a bitch, and is nowhere near that price any more. This kind of thing has been happening almost daily recently.
I can also fully relate to the experiences these other posters have had, having encountered the majority of these bugs myself, and also the frustration of not being able to get a prompt response from the site staff. I have 10k+ trades on cryptsy, and most of them go through without issue, but when the problems happen, they are compounded by inadequate support. 24/7 markets need 24/7 staff, even if it's just a guy in IRC or on the forums acknowledging the issue.
I had a stuck order sorted in minutes yesterday after BitJohn responded to my post, which is how it should be, not 12+ hours like my latest problem (which is exactly the same issue). You need more public-facing staff, not just a bunch of new servers.
Current ticket is #70012, if anyone cares lol.

I keep encountering a bug on cryptsy that won't let me cancel orders. They get stuck on "this order is currently processing", even when the current price has moved far from the order price. More often than not the price returns to that point eventually, but the wait is nerveracking in the meantime, and I have incurred losses a few times because of this bug (and it is a bug, which needs sorting). My current support ticket is #70012, if any of the staff feel like cancelling my order for me I would be grateful, but I would be even more thankful if you sorted out the bug that makes this happen in the first place. Also, your support leaves much to be desired. There was a time you could get help via IRC, the mod "pr9me" was particularly helpful, although obviously swamped by dealing with most of the issues there by himself. If you could just clone him and put the clones to work 24/7, that would be great Another day, another stuck order I reopened the same ticket #, hope that is ok, If not let me know and i'll make a new one each time. Please get vern to look this bug over, it is pretty much a daily occurence now, and very frustrating.

Thanks BitJohn. I just reposted my issue here before I noticed you had sorted my problem out. Thanks for the quick response.

I regularly encounter the problem of orders that refuse to cancel, i've posted elsewhere about this, but I may as well repeat myself to draw some attention to this issue, since I gather from IRC that there are quite a few of us that have the same problem: I keep encountering a bug on cryptsy that won't let me cancel orders. They get stuck on "this order is currently processing", even when the current price has moved far from the order price. You can use tor to get to btc-e.

I've been using btc-e for a few days now, and have the same probs (503 errors, cloudflare default pages, or just timeouts in general). 90% of the tim, i've been able to access via tor, which works well enough, but it is very slow, and I have to keep changing identities since many of the tor nodes are banned.

to all those genuine community members i do hope your litecoins help you learn about litecoin, allow you to experiment with making transactions/trading. and help your future profits grow.
Speaking as someone who has just spent the last 18 hours or so chasing this little coin around BTC-E, I'd say mission accomplished. I've learned a hell of a lot, lost most of the coin's value, made it back up again, and now i'm slightly ahead, and have made enough mistakes to learn from, without risking large amounts. I now feel a lot more comfortable having a go at trading with something a bit more substantial. Cheers mate.
