1  Other / Beginners & Help / Anyone gotten BTC from BTCquick since they came back on: January 05, 2014, 12:48:37 AM
BTCquick was down for over a month but last week they came back and allowed bank payment. They said it takes 3-5 days for it to clear. Well it been 6 days and I dont even see a charge in my bank account and the transaction is still marked "Pending" on btcquicks site. Has anyone used them successfully recently

As a member of black Tuesday, I have officially received bitcoin to my wallet.

I see it moving thru blockchain but it's not posted yet. Oh and because of the fluctuation from when I bought it I'm out almost $40. Thanks bitinstant.

Yea, I seem to have lost some myself, although a small amount. sent $115 but on blockchain it says 107. Did they just use the original order price which was higher, because today I believe it was around 100, but 109ish when I ordered 3 days ago. plus with the fee wavier I thought I should have more

I guess they're not working through the night to fill these orders.

Some good news and a brief update for everyone:

We have 2106 orders in the affected period, of which 568 are still not executed, 949 ARE executed and 589 where the customer never paid at the deposit location (based on data from ZipZap)

The 568 not executed are now being worked through by our support team, if you have an outstanding cash deposit please check the status here:
https://www.cashpayment.com/Public/CheckMyPayment

If that shows your order as paid then you only have to wait a little longer for our support team to catch up and manually process it, if it shows as pending then you will need to get in touch with ZipZap with proof of your deposit. Unfortunately there is little we can do if ZipZap shows the payment as pending incorrectly.

Again, orders placed recently have not suffered from these issues and if your order was placed today and has failed it's likely due to a different unrelated cause - for any order that's failed please open a support ticket and provide as much detail as possible, we have quite a few tickets without any information on the order at all and are unable to help as efficiently in those cases.

thanks for some actual info, I checked my status and it says "Paid" . So hopefully my order will be processed soon.

Looks like I'm a going to ba asking for a refund...
Yo, ZipZap...wait up I need to talk to you......
Good luck to everyone waiting
This was my third time using BitInstant and my last.
You just don't mess with peoples money.
This should have been fixed in hours, not going on 3 days and counting..

I emailed zipzap at 11pm last night asking how I can get a refund and got a reply within an hour with the exact form I need to fill in and an exact ETA on how long it takes to get my money.

still waiting 3 days for a real response from bitinstant......

I kindly asked customers to stop using profanity on the Q&A section.  This did not help so we shut Q&A down for now.

I believe the profane remarks were the minority of posts, most of the posts were people like me simply asking whats up. It just happen to coincidentally benefit you to shut down the Q&A because 1 of every 100 posts had profanity in it. You seem to have a heavy online presence, so it wasn't possible to just delete the profane remarks? I was on the Q&A from mid Tuesday to the time it got shut down and I don't recall seeing any profanity, just people wanting to know whats going on with cash deposits.

I cant believe they haven't even began the process of manually processing the orders. They said they are "waiting for the go ahead from the dev team" . So they have LITERALLY been doing nothing this whole time.

When asked when it will be fixed we are told to be patient

when asked what compensation they will provide they remain silent

are they even going to honor the original price, the price has gone up a couple of dollars per BTC since I sent my money.

Its been 24 hours since I placed my order. Still no BTC. I sent an email and was sent back a copy and paste response, then I went to check their public comment section on their site and they took that down.....very weird. They continue to take cash deposits then take down the public comment section of their site where everyone was complaining about not getting their BTC.  I've sent 2 more emails since last night have haven't gotten and response.

And the only thing they have been posting on other sites is "please be patient" "New site, hiccups"

Im sitting here thinking I got scammed and they do nothing to reassure anyone.

Heres my question to any bitinstant staff. WILL ANYONE ACTUALLY RECEIVE THEIR MISSING BTC? or will we wait around for a week and eventually have to get a refund through zipzap? Are you actually going through the orders and sending people their BTC? or just sitting around and letting more orders pile up and continue to take cash deposits while we all sit here with nothing.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Easiest way to buy BTC besides bitinstant? on: June 11, 2013, 05:26:31 AM
Every time I have bought bitcoin it has been through bitinstant cash deposit, but they have been down for the past 3 days. What is the easiest and fastest way to get Bitcoin in my wallet? I know they're many sites and I have researched them but they all seem to be unavailable for U.S customers or have some overly complicated payment methods.
