2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 15, 2024, 05:33:33 PM
All the OP's points mentioned are correct, and if all the points are actually done well there is no problem.

I think there is one missing there and that is being a responsible wife/partner.  I think it won't matter for the husband if his wife is engaged in gambling as long as the wife still do her part in the family.  Even if the wife done all those listed things stated by @OP if she is irresponsible when it comes to her task in the family, the husband will mind his gambling activity.

Quote
However, the problem with the points mentioned by the OP is that there are no points of important obligations that the wife must carry out in taking care of the household, husband, children and other important needs. And if these points are implemented along with the OP's points raised then there is absolutely no problem, and will ensure that the wife's important obligations are not compromised, perhaps some are overlooked.

I believe the husband will be ok with the gambling involvement of his wife as long as the obligation of his wife is not compromised due to gambling activities.

And I personally would forbid my wife from gambling, and I have no problem with her gambling responsibly, having fun and so on. And I'm worried that my wife will neglect some of her work or obligations and also be a bad example for the children.

This is confusing, you will forbid your wife from gambling even though you have no problem if she gamble responsibly and I do not think that a gambling wife will be a bad example to the children as long as she do her responsibility and prioritized it over her gambling activity.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: January 15, 2024, 04:55:18 PM
I would be surprised if Duelbits actually allowed him to continue playing on their site after everything he did on their site and in this forum.

He didn't do anything that violated their terms to terminate an account and after all he don't really matter that much to the casino's perspective, he will be given attention only again if he needs help or violates the terms. Until then they have a business to run and it doesn't seem to be worth going after everyone who tries to bully/false accusations against their reputation.

I do think that Duelbits cares for their players.  I believe every players matters/important to the casino since it will cost them their reputation if they ignore small players.  I believe Duelbits implement patience on this case and just ignore all those curses since they understand the reason why the person act irritated.

The good thing is that the case is resolved and this proves once again how reputable Duelbits is.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: January 15, 2024, 03:55:53 PM
In my personal opinion I think that we don't need to focus on how much will lose and how much we own potential win. I always think that before doing gambling we should know our afford zone. And then we should make a strategy and set a limit then starting gambling. In this case I think we don't need to focus and your them lose and winning.

I highly agree with this.  We must focus on the "how much I can afford to lose".  This is much easier and less frustrating since we only gamble the amount that we can afford to lose.  If we done that, there is no need for us to focus on how much we are losing because it can be considered as expenses for entertainment just like when we are watching movies and going out to a vacation.

Focusing on how much one will lose will kill the entertainment because the person will be worried that he will lose his balance and it kills the purpose of enjoying the gambling session.  If we are worried about the losses then I think it is better to not gambling at all to save us from worries which can affect our health.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sherbet.com - $1,000 USD + 20 FS Welcome Package - 24/7 Support - Weekly Race 🤑 on: January 15, 2024, 03:35:52 PM

Another issue just happened with my account, I have been verified weeks ago and now sherbet ask me to do KYC again?
This notification message appears when I tried to withdraw the prize I've just received (FYI, I've played some and even lost 30% of the prize):

Below is the proof that I've been verified:

So how can I do another KYC if the start verification button is no longer active for me since I've completed it weeks ago?

I think you need to contact their support and ask the reason why you have to undergo another KYC verification when you already done it.  It is possible that it is a system glitch or maybe the amount you are withdrawing needs a higher level of KYC.  Regardless I think contacting the support staff is the best thing to do to know the reason behind.

I checked my account and found $10. I'm not sure if it's from the crash contest as Rhys mentioned he would tip some users who participated in this thread. But most likely it was from the crash contest where I secured the 4th/5th place. I'm planning to withdraw the $10 but the minimum withdrawal is $20 because I know what will happen next. Therefore, I have to gamble it
You can hold it and wait for luck to win another price to withdraw it if you don't want to gamble. If you can not wait, only one choice, gamble with it like you do. By gambling, no regret of loss and consider that $10 is like free spins for you to play on Sherbet.

Nothing serious if you consider that $10 like this, you will simply enjoy some small bets even can not make the $10 to be bigger.

Or if he is lucky he can win a bigger amount from the $10 tip.  Who knows, win happens when one least expected it.

6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 15, 2024, 03:19:39 PM
Imagine that there is such a rehabilitation clinic for people who are addicted to gambling. Now imagine what they treat there without the use of pharmacology.

A treatment without a use of pharmacology is more likely uses a hypnotherapy procedure.  This kind of of process is somehow found to be effective in treating gambling addicts.  According to the article[1]  through hypnotheraphy process, it can help the patient to identify what triggers the addiction.

Quote
Hypnotherapy for gambling is one method many people find effective. Through hypnosis and relaxation techniques, hypnotherapy can help the client access the deepest parts of their unconscious, and identify the triggers that led to the addiction. Once the causes are identified, the therapist will work with the client to help them break out of the negative patterns, learn how to manage their feelings and cope with triggers.

Please note that the patient will resist to the last. He will give counterarguments. For example, that he will get rich in the future, he’s just not lucky yet.
What other arguments do you think the patient will give? How do you respond to these arguments of his?

As long as the patient wanted to get cured, I do not think the patient will resist the therapy.  Furthermore in hypnotherapy, the patient conscious state is in relaxation while the subconscious is open more open to suggestion [2].

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 14, 2024, 09:03:19 PM
How about you as a Lotto bettor do you buy more tickets when the prize skyrocketed and how many more tickets are you adding

No, for me a single ticket is enough entry to win the jackpot if one is destined to win.  In my view, buying extra ticket is just a waste of money.  If one will win, he will win, even if he buy only one ticket.  This had been a proven case where many people had been buying more than one tickets but they failed to win a jackpot price.  Remember only one number combination will win the jackpot price so any other number combination one buy is a waste or money besides, adding one more ticket may probably increase your chance to win to 100% but in overall statistics that chance does not even 0.1% increase to win the jackpot price.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 14, 2024, 08:31:07 PM
Gambling can change the attitude of someone who tends to become a stubborn person, and indeed this can of course have an impact on their relationships, whether it be family, partner or friendship relationships, where they will experience the bad effects of gambling, which can make them change as well.

Can gambling actually change someone who is bad mannered for good instead of getting them more complicated in their wrong doings, same way we can see gambling as a means of getting ourselves attached to something that could get us being occupied than having much time on unnecessary things, we should also be mindful of not allowing irresponsible gambling to affect our personal relationships.

There are instances where a bad mannered person become tolerant or giving. That is when he won a huge amount of money from the casino.  This takes away frustrations and worries making the bad person in good mood but it is temporary.  A person's attitude or characteristics can only be altered temporarily, since whatever the persons core personality is will always shows after the effect of being in a good/bad mood fades away.

Quote
we should also be mindful of not allowing irresponsible gambling to affect our personal relationships.

But once a person become irresponsible whether it is in his gambling activities or on other things, it already affected his personal relationship with other people.  Like when an employee was caught being irresponsible, his relationship with his boss will deteriorate.  In a family, when a member become irresponsible of his choir assignment, his relationship with his family is already affected, same goes with irresponsible gambling, his relationship with people around him is already affected.  Like when one is hooked and spend all his time on gambling, his time spent on his family will be affected and his family will view him as irresponsible one.  From that negative relationship is developed.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: JustCasino.io | Get the Best Crypto Casino Experience on: January 14, 2024, 08:11:08 PM
I almost missed it, I gave up my intention to make an inj deposit for my personal safety, it's very rare for me to find many prohibited countries that are not allowed to play at Justcasino, luckily I read it first, almost lost my funds if I made a deposit, Will there be any changes implemented, I will see the progress

I am also interested to try the platform but due to the restriction implemented by the TOS (my country is one of the restricted area to play on the platform) so I also gave up my idea.  I am wondering why so many country are banned on the platform.  This is the few times I saw my country being restricted to access a casinos service.  I wonder what is their ground of banning these many countries, as far as I know most of the casinos here have also a license from the same regulator and yet they don't have that many restricted country.

The team behind JustCasino.io is fully prepared to launch their casino here they launched their JustCasino.io | Unique Crypto Casino | Signature Campaign Up to $80
We seldom see a casino that launches their casino here in Bitcointalk, with all the requirements completed like a copper account, well well-designed announcement, an active representative, and a signature campaign managed by a reputable campaign manager.
They did the right things I expect JustCasino.io to establish their reputation in a short period if they just focus on addressing all concerns and marketing their platform here.

That is thanks to LM in giving them a good insight on how marketing in this forum works.  It is a wise move for the casino to coordinate with someone in the forum first before publishing their announcement.  This multiplied the effect of their effort in the forum.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: January 14, 2024, 07:53:43 PM
Good evening everyone! I hope all of you is having a good time because I finally hit my dream biggest win of x1000+ multiplier! I manage to hit x1500 multiplier on Chaos Crew slot game by Hacksaw. I hit this after a couple spin manually then random bonus buy of worth 25.8$ for 0.2$ base bet. This is my biggest win so far on slot games since I start this journey on Bitcasino.  Shocked

Here’s my game screenshot including the replay.

You can watch the replay here: https://replay.hacksawgaming.com/?roundid=8959214481&partner=132&language=en

Btw the Bitcasino Birthday promotion is still ongoing until January 15. I’m already 90% completed.  Wink

It looks like January is a lucky month for your.  I noticed that you had series of winnings after that 500x on Octoplay slot game  that leads to to cash out $240  and the following day you hit your first ever 1000x+.  I am happy for your gambling milestone achievement hopefully you can hit the next milestone which is getting 2000x+ multiplier.

Yeah, I manage to become lucky this year on slot games maybe this due to my New Year’s Resolution of being more positive on slot games to hit more multipliers. Don’t worry, I’m always in control to my game since I’m only depositing money which I can afford to lose in fact only below 100$ per week is my target budget allocation for gambling to avoid too much greediness.

That is good to hear, since I also observe people getting drunk to their gambling winnings and tried to level up their games by wagering higher bet and losing their cool in chasing wins.

I will try to share more next week if I became lucky again. For the meantime I’m sipping my cool drinks on my vacation tour whoch I acquired through my winnings.  Cheesy

I hope to see more positive news from your gambling engagement.  It is really motivating to see people's positive experience and high multiplier wins.  As a fellow gambler who played slots. this kind of things put a smile in me even though I have not that much luck in my recent gambling activities.
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: January 14, 2024, 07:35:44 PM

Most online gamblers or people that are interested in crypto casinos will know Stake but how effective is it outside that? I have 2 buddies that watch a lot of UFC and although Stake has a partnership with the UFC and their logo is everywhere, they never heard of Stake. Granted, they are not interested in gambling also.

The bolded part is the reason why they never heard of stake or take notice of it even though there are banners of stake everywhere.  If they are interested in gambling they should have noticed the banners and might probably inquire about it and probably already had created an account in Stake long time ago.

It's the same as people who watch football matches and other sports matches, they just look at and read every picture and writing that moves on the billboard without caring what it is showing. They are traditional types of gamblers, not online gamblers.

Not entirely true, IMO.  If one is a gambler and see stake as a gambling platform, they might be interested to play in online gambling platform for the first time.  Gamblers whether online or offline players have their interest piqued when something new  platform is introduced.

Sports fans who actively gamble or online gamblers generally know when they find Stake billboards on every corner that it is a big casino. Stake Casino promotions are great.

I agree more that Stake are doing a great promotional activities by sponsorship, affiliates and platform bonuses.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to stop on: January 13, 2024, 07:09:56 PM
One of the most important factor of a successful gambler is to know when to stop, most gamblers expecially the addictive type don't even know what is stop when it comes to gambling. So it's very important to;
* Stop when your losing is now getting to you.

This is a sound advice, we should stop if we are getting frustrated over our losses.  This will not only empty our pocket but also deteriorate our health.

Quote
* Stop when you are now feeling as is you can't do without gambling.

This is somehow hard to execute but I also think that one should regain control over his gambling session, if he can't control is gambling activities it is wise to stop before our being hooked on gambling ruins our lives.

Quote
* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.

I agree, we must withdraw the money from casino once we won big amount.  There is tendency, if we are not careful that our wininngs together with our initial bankroll to be emptied our as we continue gambling despite the huge win.

Quote
* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.

Or it is not our lucky day, stopping is a wise decision since it saves us from unnecessary bets.  It is better to stop before emptying our bankroll, who knows luck might be in our side on our next session.  So saving the rest of bankroll when we feel that we are not lucky enough to bag a good win.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would it be like owning a Bitcoin in 2024? on: January 13, 2024, 06:49:58 PM
I would not recommend owning any bitcoins as a small investor. Because those who buy or hold Bitcoin are definitely very wise people and professional traders. Without adequate knowledge the history of Bitcoin, how to use it, any future risks and whether it is highly profitable is not worth knowing. It is impossible to know how much the value of Bitcoin has risen from its birth to today without knowing the history, so Bitcoin holders must make their own decisions whether to hold or sell their Bitcoins.

One do not have to undergo research and trainings in order to purchase Bitcoin.  If you have the fund, you can buy it freely on exchanges.  Owning Bitcoin only needs certain requirements, money, machine and basic knowledge.  Simple people can learn or have these requirements if they just do their own research and study Bitcoin.  When it comes to holding, there is no need to have a brain like Einstein,  One just need patience and know his target price for selling and stick to it.

Investment have all their own level of risk at least with Bitcoin there is a history that its price records new ATH every four year.  So if one just follow the pattern, they don't need to be tech savvy to profit from Bitcoin.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 13, 2024, 06:15:46 PM
What you pointed out is the exact reason why I believe this is more of a promotion thread despite some gamblers being truly lucky to win high figures using bucks that are less than 100 USD.
I'm unaware of the user that won big on the above casino but things like this that are not backed with evidence of deposit and the won multipliers are hard to believe for me.

I highly agree with you.  The way the thread and context are created, it is like baiting the reader into trying the casino to see if they can have the same faith like Rabi.  I do not doubt about the story though since slots with huge max win can really change one's life overnight.  Just do the calculation, playing a slots with 120k max win can give a person a possible winnings of $120k  with just $1 bet.  I believe the info that the guy stated got lucky on his session as he continue to  increase his bet that resulted in winning $37k with an initial deposit of $17.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if authorities launch a tax for owning bitcoin? on: January 13, 2024, 05:53:25 PM

Can I transfer the BTC from my current address, to an address that no government can ever link to me?

If the fund is coming from an exchange and you do a normal transfer then the government can easily track the owner of the Bitcoin funds unless you use a privacy coins.

I do not think that it is reasonable for the government to impose tax to those who are just holding Bitcoin.  As far as I know only transaction that yields profit are taxable.  Those trades where the trader losses are tax exempted so as long as your Bitcoin holdings does not give you a profitable transaction there is no way the government will impose income tax on it.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do gamblers always ague alot? on: January 12, 2024, 09:58:53 PM

So what is your experience on Gambling viewing centre and what have you learn and how were you able to handle such situation?

I also think that people arguing does not concern the gambling activity but rather their own personal perspective.  People have different idols and team favorites so when they meet with another person with different liked players and team they often reason out why their favorite is better which sometimes ended in a heated argument and eventually get personal reason for the fight to break out.   It is indeed very disturbing seeing people argue and fight inside the viewing center so I'd rather enjoy the peace watching the game at home than on a gambling view center.

One time I had the experience such incident where two people got a heated argument until they curse each other, I just leave the vicinity and just went home.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What ugly incident or occurrence have you ever experienced in gambling? on: January 12, 2024, 09:41:19 PM
I feel bad for the person. He tried to cashed out but his device got got stuck and unable to relay the touch.  So far I don't have any bad experience like that.  I only played in personal computer for the reason that I have more trust on my computer unit than my mobile device in terms of reliability and security.  So far all my gambling session does not experience any ugly incident and the gaming experience is superb since I have a wider view of the game and at the same time have a very responsive UI.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sure match prediction on: January 12, 2024, 09:25:23 PM
I have 8 years experience about gambling.. so you can believe me about my statement.

I think you can just post your prediction here, I think it would do us a favor if we don't have to move to other platform.  Since you claim that you have 8 year experience, it would be great if you give us sample predictions and verify ourselves that you can back up what you have stated.  I do not have any idea about your ability to precisely predict the result of the match but boldly claiming that you are very savvy about sports prediction needs a fact to back it up.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Approval; Price dumps, what Next? on: January 12, 2024, 09:09:37 PM
The price did pump when SEC approved 11 spot ETF but it does not last long.  The price of BTC goes up to $47k but it was a temporary pump because many people who has long position possibly cashed out when the price increase resulting to the price of BTC revert back to what it was before the SEC announcement.  I don't think the price of BTC dumped but rather it correct itself and simply goes sideway.

20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does signing up with affiliate links gives these benefits? on: January 11, 2024, 09:40:37 PM
Many youtubers and friends share their referral codes/affiliate links, saying you will get bonuses, real money, or free spins. but I wonder if casinos give extra help or benefits in some different situations.

For example, when someone wins a big multiplier and multiplies their account by 100x, then some casinos take a long time to process the withdrawal, or they may not even give the money. however, some say that if you sign up using a good affiliate or influencer affiliate code which have huge audience, then you won't face these type issues. also, if you promote the casino using your referral link, they might not hold back your withdrawal because you helped them get new customers.

is this kind of things is considered shady practice, or is it considered fair in the online gambling world?

I do not think that there is a difference signing up under a normal user and an influencer  unless the casino has a deal with the influencer.  But under normal circumstance, there will be no difference if a casino wanted to scam their player of not paying them the amount of money the player won.

Sometimes, some of them give out money to those who registered under them to gamble with, and you know why?

Because the more the total wagers higher the take home pay at the end of the month as affiliates comissions.

That is if the casino means of affiliation is not dependent on how much the referred uses losses but on the wagering volume of the referred player.  We have known that sometimes the affiliate system that relies on the amount gain/loss by the player sometimes gives negative yield especially when the referred player won a huge amount of money.
