Trying to send you PM but you don't accept messages from newbies can you check that please
bought a couple of codes from selly and for some of them i got the "out of stock" message from selly, can we make another deal here.

please either (send me a private message here with your txn number ) or (send me a message on selly) or (send me a message with txn number on skype),
i will send out the code for you.

I have restocked the codes.

trying to send you a message on Selly fails, it gives me error code 404 page not found.
can you open PM's to newbies here, i get this message when i try to pm you : User 'bt128' has not chosen to allow messages from newbies. You should post in their relevant thread to remind them to enable this setting.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help Please - Vega 56 Mining Rig Troubleshooting on: November 17, 2017, 06:12:02 PM
I am currently trying to overclock my cards, doing this from work on teamviewer lol.  I am confused as to why it only lets me drop my GPU frequency to -4% on wattman?  Doesn't make any sense to me as the post I am following says to drop it to -30%.  Also I dropped my Power Limit to -30% but only saw a 20w reduction... not sure if its because I set my fan at minimum 3000 RPM or whats going on.  I have my memory up to 950 right now.

Also, I am only able to set about 20gb of virtual memory because I only have a 60 gb ssd. If I plug in a second oldschool HDD into sata slot 2 and set the virtual memory on that drive to say 60 GB would that work or does it all have to be on the same drive?

I had the same problem when i tried a "normal" driver release, i could only underclock -4% , installed the official amd compute workload driver 23aug and there was the -30% underclock!
I find it alot better and stable to undervolt and set clocks with softpowerplay, OverdriveNTool 0.2.1 has a built in editor.
Have 2 vega rigs working with this settings for some days now, it looks quite stable except 1 card needs 910-920mV or it crashes sooner or later.

Here are my results, running stable for a few hours now

https://imgur.com/a/KxdIw

4 x vega56 stock bios with softpowerplay mod running compute drivers
8gb of ddr3 ram
73gb Virtual memory (although 40-60 gb didn't make any difference)
Power at the wall whole system is 670w
All card are runng 900mv core except 1 that needs 910, will tinker with that one again later.

Big thanks to all the people sharing information here , it's a bit help for us newbies !

how you apply softpowerplay mod ?       registry mod ?
what driver version ?

thnx

BTC

I used OverdriveNTool 0.2.1 and  followed rednoW's advice : Just run it as admin and find this option by clicking to upper left corner (to the icon)

Driver is official from amd Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug23.exe

You may have to elaborate more on what you saying for us to understand you quite well
First of all, i dont see the need for you to resync NIST5 wallet if you have to transfer coins from the exchange to swap them. You only need to download your new XEVAN wallet, get an address, send coins directly from exchange to address provided for you on swap website and follow the rest of the instruction on swap website carefully

Also, i dont seem to know why your nist5 wallet isn't syncing. mine was open and fully synced as i was typing this reply. Try these nodes in snipet below

Lastly, about your test swap not working, find out if you already have 6 confirmations.
If not you must wait for them.
If your wallet is not syncing, then your swap will definitely not work till its fully synced since your wallet isnt connected to the rest of the network.
Give me feedback on telegram or slack after you try my suggestion. Please be meticulous

It is @SolarisDev's utmost hope that everybody receives their coins safely in full. thus swap will proceed till the last month of this year.
There is more time to get help.

However if your XLR is on cryptopia then you have just a few days to swap them or else Cryptopia will delist XLR and getting your balance back through support  may be difficult

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed response.
I have pasted those nodes on solaris.conf file but no success, connections are still 0, number of blocks still 0.
I do get a weird error when i start the wallet for the first time and wallet auto shutsdown, but on the second start and after the wallet starts up normally, that is with the old nist5 wallet.
I have no problems with the new xevan wallet its up and synched and already received some mined coins, the test swap was from coinexchange directly to the address provided by the swap site and it has alot more than 6 confirmation since i did it yesterday, here is the txid https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xlr/tx.dws?298eab69122bbe8a1a60d9603d6f13f440fa735a17481a11cb1fd4cd83b052f8.htm its the little 0.4 output.
Will try to reach out slack or telegram.

I am trying to synch the old nist5 wallet in order to transfer some coins from the exchange to swap them, but it's been stuck on 0 peers for hours, never established connection.
I have tried adding the nodes posted on the first page by op but the result was the same.
Are there any working nodes i can add to the config file ?
I also tried sending a test swap directly from the exchange to the swap address the site provided me, never received any coins on the new chain, i guess that doesn't at all.

I purchased 2 card from the seller with escrow.
The cards are sealed from the store like new, took only 5 days to get from Hong Kong to Europe at no additional cost (customs import fee etc) with a national holiday in the middle, well packaged and unopened.
Thank you mate, hope you bring more 570/580 in stock soon.
Cheers!

Yobit update:  They replied to my ticket and told me to submit the addcoin form, acting as though I hadn't done so already...  I submitted it again, but I'm not sure what the deal is over there...

Ditch Yobit completely imho, they are one of the worst exchanges possible.
Better try Cryptopia or Novaexchange i think they are of the most reputable small exchanges, then Bitrex.

Best example is DASH, for DASH you need 1000 coins = 83.000 US$.

See why I keep saying that 25M ESP for a masternode is not enough?  Wink  At this point, $83.000 of ESP would be 1.9 BILLION. Per masternode. Of course this is not comparable, but you get the point. It doesn't have to be "affordable" for the average Joe.

You have to look the price Dash was when they implemented masternodes, was it 1-2$ late 2014 - early 2015 ?
If i am not mistaken it was 1000 Dash from the beginning making the cost to buy a masternode 1000-2000$.
With 25 mil per masternode and the current supply thats just a mere 800 masternodes and all the circulating supply will be locked so that number will be much lower in reality, while Dash is counting 4522 nodes.
Isn't the point to decentralize things or not ?

Is POSwallet on the correct chain? Can i deposit my ESP2 on it and will it stack them for me? Anyone using it?
Thanks

Yes it's been staking nicely for days, try a test deposit first to see it it get through, check the Net Total Stake on the Generate ESP tab on the wallet, it should say around 5.4 billion coins staking, if the wallet forks this number is just some millions hence you get staking rewards every some seconds.

edit: nevermind, just realized you are prob talking about the online site staking, ignore this comment Cheesy

Ok, my wallet is broken... I send 700.000 to nova, never arrives. I send 5000 to a wallet on another pc, it arrives. I send 3.000.000 to that adress, its gone. Transactions do not show on the blockchain. When i look on the blockchain my wallet supposed to have 70.000.000 in it. Wallet says 67.000.000. I copied wallet.dat to another pc and now that wallet says it has 50.000.000 in it. Oh yeah, had to stop staking because staking went crazy, every few seconds i get rewards. Seems my wallet is on a chain of its own...

Had the same issue a while back, wallet forked on its own chain and started staking every 5 seconds.
Delete everything in the folder where wallet.dat is stored, except your wallet.dat ofc and resynch the wallet.
Add those nodes to espers.conf
