12.5btc block reward halving is an appropriate event this year
im not saying make a cascasius coin with 12.5 funding on it to sell for $10k plus. im just saying make a coin for the couple dollars it costs to make and sell it for double ($10 at most)
unless you want to go "rare limited edition collections" model inwhich case raise the price dependant on limit
i know something that could help is to have nearly the same design. mass produce one using a slightly cheaper material. and then using the same design template have a limited edition version where the only difference is the material and a unique number eg 1-1000
If you make some good designs and they look relatively interesting aesthetically, you can probably get a few people buying them, and if they're exceptional then you might get a lot of people buying them. It all depends on whether or not you can find a niche design or event that you can make a commemorative coin about, and whether or not enough other people have made things similar or representative of that event.

Though, we don't only want to focus on coins, we do have a designer that can provide the logo and everything and step by step get on with the project.
