Hello!
I have been a philatelic obsessive for a while and I have created with some friends the group CoinPrint TM.
We have all the contacts and necessaries things to print and making coins relating the bitcoin world.
We also have two 3d printers and other nice gadgets at home that will help us into this adventure.

I was wondering if in the section " Marketplace" -> "Collectibles" people are willing to buy from us if we post some coins printed by us .

I can also provide nice gadgets realting bitcoin world.

I basically posted this question because I want to know if what we want to do could ever have a market here or not, since we are trying to get some extra incomes (beside our jobs).

Sorry for my horrbile English, I hope some of you dedicate his time to reply us.

Cheers.

A philatelist is a person who's interested in postage and other stamps.

But there's definitely interest on this forum for coins, and people do collect crypto-related ones.

I'd like to see a high end pen made.  And people would probably like watches.

If you make some good designs and they look relatively interesting aesthetically, you can probably get a few people buying them, and if they're exceptional then you might get a lot of people buying them. It all depends on whether or not you can find a niche design or event that you can make a commemorative coin about, and whether or not enough other people have made things similar or representative of that event.

12.5btc block reward halving is an appropriate event this year

im not saying make a cascasius coin with 12.5 funding on it to sell for $10k plus. im just saying make a coin for the couple dollars it costs to make and sell it for double ($10 at most)
unless you want to go "rare limited edition collections" model inwhich case raise the price dependant on limit

i know something that could help is to have nearly the same design. mass produce one using a slightly cheaper material. and then using the same design template have a limited edition version where the only difference is the material and a unique number eg 1-1000

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

I appreciate your answer!
We basically have a definition for "philatelist" that involves from coins ( numismatic) to stamps and postcards.
By the way, it's good to hear that it has a market, so basically we are trying to get some suggestions about gadgets that people woudl like to see, as soona s we get more infos we will start working out on it!!

Thanks for the answers guys!
Though, we don't only want to focus on coins, we do have a designer that can provide the logo and everything and step by step get on with the project.
However, we would also like to focus on objects never seen ! We are looking for suggestions Smiley

I've seen projects posted on there that got people excited and they went from there. Would any of your objects have private keys on them? That might make people a bit wary.

I don't think using private keys on objects is a good idea, people won't trust the project since I am a 'newbie' in the site and they won't even deposit anything on their private keys related to the obejcts.

Smart guy.

It also depends on the metal value of the coin. A cheap coin made from some cheap alloy just 3d printed won't sell for much more than $5. Check eBay for instance.

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that
