2  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What are some relatively passive ways to increase cryptocurrency holdings? on: October 26, 2018, 06:36:28 PM
What are some relatively low risk and less time consuming ways to increase crypto holdings? I'm going to uni next year so the bulk of my time and energy this year will be spent on trying to get into a good uni and I won't be able to spend as much time researching coins and studying the market. I'm currently looking into mining and arbitrage trading bots.

I have decent experience with mining equipment and there's also the advantage of living somewhere where electricity costs $0.025/kwh (and I'm currently in the process of trying to get a place with $0.007/kwh) but after running through some rough numbers it doesn't look like you'll end up with much more cryptocurrency than you started with unless you buy second hand hardware or go asic. (Asics aren't that accessible where I live amd are usually sold at a significant markup)

Another thing that crossed my mind was setting up a very small miner hosting service, is that something people would even consider? A few mining rigs, if setup well, won't require a lot of time to maintain with enough know how and I can provide significantly lower power and maintenance rates than most large scale mining colocation/ hosting services but I'm not sure on how to prove credibility and get the client to trust me.

I'm also looking into writing a simple arbitrage trading bot but it's still just an idea that I need to spend more time developing and I'm also not that comfortable with keeping money on exchanges for long periods.

Any advice or constructive input would be greatly appreciated.

owning a Snode masternode, appears to be a good earner.

Thank you for your response and I appreciate your comment. You are very correct, Snode.co is the best choice for the creation of masternodes for non-technical investors who are looking to achieve a healthy return on their investment.

I have personal used the Snode platform for 6 months, and have been astounded by their professionalism, and business practices. Their support and daily emails after purchasing and investing in a masternode have been astounding, and I trully believe that they are one of the very best in the industry.

I wrote this book to help others find the best and most trusted masternode options online, and to help the crypto community not only retain, but grow their wealth overtime, if that means you must escape national currencies for any reason at all -- then you can be rest assured that 'Proof of Stake' crypto currencies will allow you the freedom to generate livable and sustainable interest upon the principal amount. In my book entitled, "Masternodes Business Services Investment Guide: Ultimate Investor Edition",  I teach individuals how to grow and retain their wealth through their crypto assets.

I thank you for your time. I look forward to receiving any questions, comments and, concerns from the community.

From everything I've read so far; this is basically a shit coin and the devs are all a bunch of incompetent idiots who are starting projects, dumping those projects and starting new ones while leaving their old investors holding the bag.

8  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: December 02, 2017, 12:02:52 PM
I;m interested, since bitcoin isn't that much widespread yet, how are businesses (that are directed towards bitcoin only) doing? Is it paying off or is there some serious profit involved?
Success in business is contingent upon the quality of either the service or good that you are trying to sell to the customer. Always remember that people don’t just buy a product, they buy an experience.

When it comes to Bitcoin being more profitable to use than fiat currency you must understand that money is money it’s a monetary tool used for the exchange of goods and services. Businesses today are using Bitcoin as a payment option because it’s core features are found to be less restrictive than other traditional payment channels.

Nevertheless, I would say that you should start a business because you want to offer the world a better service than what’s currently being offered by other companies in your specific niche and not because you want to turn a profit. If you like what you do and have a passion for what you like then the money will follow and it will be much easier to generate, as you won’t get as bored. You won’t find your self getting as frustrated,  disenchanted, or as disillusioned as you normally would have if you actually liked your business.

In closing, you should focus on ways to make your chosen business better than the possible profits you could make. You should be prepared to work longer hours than anyone you personally know, even your peers. You should work on your business and dedicate your self to growing your business in the beginning. In the end you should outsource every aspect of your business, every department, everything. And once that’s done you should turn your business into a portfolio investment asset.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin be effectively used to curb corruption? on: December 02, 2017, 10:02:56 AM
I came across an article online that is quite interesting and it goes thus;
Quote
"Bitcoin brings a lot of hope to the table. The digital currency, which was launched with an aim to destabilize crony capitalism, certainly sounds revolutionary. And it has indeed shown how a money can survive only on public consensus, without needing government and central banks. It is now being used for plethora of purposes: to buy essay, goods, products online, as well as a mean to simplify cross border remittance.

The real beauty of Bitcoin, however, is its underlying public ledger system known as blockchain. The trustless system automatically executes, confirms and stores transactions on a public database; it leaves no scope for a middlemen or government or any financial authority to take participation in the ongoing transaction, ensuring that the system remain authority-free, hence decentralized.

Bringing the power of blockchain technology to government offices sounds like a far-fetched fantasy, but the open source nature of Bitcoin could make it possible. Imagine deploying public funds entering into such an open system, where money could be allocated to other government subsidiaries, and be used for many public welfare initiatives.

With every transaction going into a public directory, watchdogs can easily trail money to check on its conclusive spending. Private and public sector banks, as well as income tax authorities, could utilize blockchain to create private chains. These chains could then be attached to the main ledger as its branches. It will save money in terms of data handling as well.

If every single government office house enrolls into such a system, there would be no corruption. But again, all policymakers need today is intention."

What do you think? Do you think something like this can actually work effectively if implemented? What are your views or other ideas?

What do I think? I think he was doing great with his article until he used the words "Bringing the power of blockchain technology to government offices"

This person went from volunteerism to a naive form of idealism and became a government supporting slave at the end of the article. I don't see how humanity would need a Government of any type when ALL the private industries today are the ones who are always innovating and creating new technologies. And it's always governments holding them back with fines, and building codes.

When 10,000 years ago there were no governments and people were just fine, as a matter of FACT they were doing so great that it's the very REASON why you can sit in front of your computer and read this today!

when the United States was founded on just a handful of people who decided to fight the entire British Empire and it's armies without the use of a government but used small militias to do so instead.

Whoever wrote that article is so naive and misguided that it's worth laughing at, he or she honestly believes that a decentralized platform, a DECENTRALIZED system of finance will make the government more accountable, less destructive and kill less children? They are sociopaths, this system kills millions of innocent men women and children per year and all over the world?

War's a racket and Human suffering is a business model and business is good.

10  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there any good news about Bitcoin from your country? on: December 02, 2017, 09:21:26 AM
The good news about bitcoin in my country is that many people have changed their lives because of their income from bitcoin.

This is the story across world. Mostly people who are involved in bitcoin related stuff have made some money and ensured that they grow in their lives. Also in my country unemployed people are now becoming self dependent to some extent as they are working on projects related to cypto currencies and investing in it.

Yeah it's the same in the US. In the US it's a love and a distrust type of relationship. Most Americans have been brain washed by the News stations and are buying into the whole "Bitcoin is bad , Bitcoin's for drug dealers and pornographers" which is the same stupid narrative that they used to say about the Internet when it first came out, but no one here seems to remember or even care.

The smart people in the US are the ones who are getting rich from Bitcoin, the smart ones just so happen to be the one's who distrust Government which owns all the news stations which controls the narrative. News sources like CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, etc. are constantly creating fake new's stories with fake names, and fake skirmishes around the country and the world to fool the American people into eventually bowing down before the state, sooner or later you're going to need an ID card just to walk in to a grocery store and buy food! And It's slowly getting worse.

When it comes to buying Bitcoin, the government acts like a silent killer, it will allow you to buy it , but if you don't sign a paper that tells them that you own it then they'll take it from you!

And guess what?

The document that you're supposed to sign doesn't even exist!!!

Have a wonderful day,
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain future on: December 02, 2017, 08:55:29 AM
The future of Blockchain technology and all the companies that will subsequently offer their services using that technology will be very lucrative in the end. But the years and decades prior to the success will be filled with pioneers, trendsetters, rebels, and renegade philanthropists. It will be like seeing the works of Steve Jobs, but on steroids. When all of mankind is able to take back the power of money away from a tyrannical centralized system of control then innovations..

true innovation will flourish and explode in away that humanity has never even seen before.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Be A Savior! on: December 02, 2017, 08:25:35 AM
Quote
In specific countries like Venezuela and Zimbabwe, Bitcoin is working as a savior for the many as their respective economies and political systems have been rocked by turmoil and uncertainties. This has become of the inspiring roles Bitcoin has been playing for some number of people and I think as time goes on this role can be magnified in other parts of the world as well.

Now, what is this telling us. One thing for sure: During economic and political distress Bitcoin can be the best tool for people to survive economically as well as to protect their remaining assets from being swallowed by the government-sponsored economic meltdown.

Bitcoin can indeed be a savior!

People are investing in Bitcon and in other Crypto assets because it's a reliable store of wealth. It's not just because of all the economic recessions, Government and institutional corruption, it's also about people seeing a better way to manage their finances, and see their money for the very first time in their lives and in all of human history grow in value and actually do something that they've always wanted it to do, and that is to grow in value.

That's a beautiful thing..

To see MONEY consist of all 5 key aspects of what sound money constitutes,

Money is supposed to be

1.) recognizable,

2.) divisible,

3.) portable,

4.) fungible,

5.) And it needs to be scarce.

Fiat currency doesn't share many of these properties, one of which is scarcity. The value of Government-backed fiat currency can also be manipulated and corrupted. Right now, the Federal Reserve is printing more money in to the world Economy than ever before and it's killing the value of every dollar in your pocket and all other fiat currencies around the world as well.

13  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a bitcoin loan of .5 - 1 btc on: December 01, 2017, 05:38:06 AM
Looking for a loan will return 100 percent interest so if you loan me 1 btc i will return 2 within 30 days. I am willing to provide any collateral that the lender request. Yes I realize I am new here that why i will send you my id and everything. I am looking for a loan so i can start my business. If I don't get it, I understand. Thanks for reading

Nobody wants your ID. (But you can send me everything if you like  Cheesy)
Lenders want stable altcoin collateral. Tell us what you've got, we'll tell you what we can do.

Do you realize you won't receive anything without a proper and solid collateral ?

Ya it all good nevermind i am just gonna close this i dont got enough collateral all i got is cash in a savings account that i can take out if needed but i see your point. That why i am just going to close this

I wonder why you even opened this thread if you had no collateral to even satisfy the debt to begin with. Play stupid games in this forum and you'll win some stupid prizes, I personally don't even go near this section as I'm not too fond of loans. I'd rather create a product or provide a service. I once saw a guy get his kidney taken out with no anesthesia. But I'm proud of you, no one here had to put hands on you before you came clean. People end up doing some crazy cannibalistic crap when they go missing some money.
14  Economy / Goods / Re: Land for sale for #BTC on: December 01, 2017, 03:42:57 AM
Oh come on, the link is still messed up and I was actually genuinely interested in looking at this parcel of land. I have a modular house sitting in a warehouse that could benefit from this kind of property especially if its being sold with Bitcoin. As a matter of fact I hope more real estate listings start to show up on this forum, that would be great.

Even if this link was not a mess, this topic it's an obvious fake.
New born account with one activity, selling land...Come on man!

Thank you for the head's up; I just noticed that now. I was half asleep at the time and this newbie link reminded me of a completely similar link in another location and then I was asking my self "If this link worked before then why the hell does it not work now?" LOL

You Have a good one,
15  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: December 01, 2017, 03:25:55 AM
Crypto is still not on the mainstream adoption but I know that we are close on getting there so for now, people are still turning crypto into fiat. Because once cryptocurrencies takes over everything then turning crypto into fiat is not needed anymore.

You're absolutely right. However, I can't really access fiat, I usually have to use a Bitcoin or crypto debit card to either get fiat out of the machine or pay with stuff using a card. I get paid in nothing but crypto ALL the time. So if cryptos did take over my life would be much easier, but it would be a nightmare to watch the vast majority of people going through absolute Hell when trying to figure out what is actually happening. That would be devastating so I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer for people to catch up and learn more about this new crypto economy.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Almost All Cyrpto Currencies Are Down At The Moment on: December 01, 2017, 02:56:50 AM
BTC dropped. BCH dropped, ETH dropped. Here is my theory on this guys.

There is a few individuals on the live exchanges at the moment who are profit chasing by 20 dollars. For example. Loads of people will buy up to $10,000, soon as it hits $10,000 or a specific set number. You will see a massive number of sell rather than buy, but some will be still buying. Is it the new hedge fund guys getting in on it?

You think Bitcoin is down because you're comparing it to Government currency, you fail to realize that Cryptos operate under their own economy, it has its own financial ecosystem and global financial market. It's rising value is based on market adoption that constitutes its technological use.

It's a very easy concept. The more people join the network, transact with Bitcoin, accept Bitcoin as payment for services, store Bitcoin away to Hodle the larger the network grows. There's more fiat currencies in circulation than there are Bitcoins, there are more people than there are Bitcoins. The current price of one Bitcoin in Us dollars is a sign that you should probably exit the fiat currency system soon or at least within the next 2 - 3 years.

Bitcoin is not a hedge fund, a bond, or a mutual fund. Those type of paper instruments can be reissued as they only exist within the Keynesian Economic system. Bitcoin is similar to a very rare and scarce stone that has no other choice but to increase in value due to its intrinsically scarce nature and that is what you call Austrian Economics; it's a feature not a bug.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin drop about 20% after Lloyd Blankfein comments. on: December 01, 2017, 12:55:29 AM
CEO of the USA Investment bank, Lloyd Blankfein said "something that move 20 overnight do not feel like a currency. It is vehicles to perpetrate fraud" after this comment on Thursday bitcoin lose over 20% and I was panic to sell off my holding. But thank God the bitcoin has started recovering as we can see that it is currently above $9,700. I think this is another caculated attacked on bitcoin image in other to create FUD.

Why are any of you still paying attention to whatever the fuck these scammers to say?

First JP Morgan CEO Jamie Demon comments FUD on Bitcoin a bunch of times and each time it goes higher after the dip. And then the Goldman Sachs' CEO Lloyd Blankfein comments on how Bitcoin is volatile and not a currency, not even a creative or funny comment, just the same regurgitated nonsense we've heard a million times.

If Bitcoin is volatile is because of panic selling idiots falling for the FUD each time. As we shed them out on the long term everyone holding will have strong hands and they will not sell every time the mainstream media tells you to do so.

Exactly, and then we had the Saudi prince, Alwaleed bin Talal,  talking crap about Bitcoin and all sorts of other nonsense when a week later he's arrested and left for broke.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/saudi-arabia-arrests-billionaire-prince-could-uncertainty-boost-bitcoin

He won't be the first and he certainly won't be the last, I have an overwhelmingly bad feeling that Bitcoin is not only devaluing the U.S dollar but it represents a token of bad luck for all the overly critical naysayers , uneducated , and uninformed. To heck with being just the Honey Badger of Money it's becoming the Terminator of Dictators and Governments!
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining will consume all the world's electricity by Feb 2020 on: November 30, 2017, 11:40:57 PM
So what do you guys think ? According to this it will happen before the next bitcoin halving which is due in (12 Jun 2020)

https://www.dailysabah.com/finance/2017/11/27/electricity-used-in-bitcoin-mining-surpasses-power-consumption-of-159-countries

They forgot to mention that the advancements in Solar Power are doubling every year. These people seem to think that the current state of technology will be the same in the future as it is now, which is absolutely ridiculous and is what you call "linear" thinking. Human technology has almost reached Moore's Law of Accelerated Returns which leads to a point of Escape Velocity where the speed of innovation doubles faster and faster every year, not every two years , but every year exponentially. I honestly wouldn't read such articles by these amateur journalists who seem to have some strange globalist agenda. I would rather listen to professionals Like Peter Diamandis when it comes to this type of information, as he actually owns a company that specializes in the development of future technologies.

I need to order this as soon as possible, thanks for being online! You Guy's Rock!

The best thing to do is to learn a skill first on how to make money online. And once you've learned that skill apply that skill. And once you've mastered it you could write an ebook. Once you've written your ebook make sure to edit every page with correct English Grammar, spelling, and punctuation. This is a very basic approach to making some money online. I've done this and will probably do it again in the future, people like to buy information and I have years of skills and information in my mind. I wish you best of luck.
We do always start up on learning up the basics on anything that we do encounter which it is really needed for us to do such thing because if we dont do that how we could able to sustain or make profitable ways. There are lots of ways on making money into this forum which would possibly give you the chance or opportunity to stand or raise your family on your own but would really require too much work and learning before you would able to achieve such thing.

Don't think about it as work. If you imagine work as fun then it will become fun and enjoyable. Don't think about work as a responsibility that you have to do for someone else, because in the long run they won't care because your work is not theirs. If you waste your life working a job that you hate doing just because you have to take care of a wife and child then it's not their fault it's yours. If you're unhappy then you are the one who decided to fill your life with an unnecessary burden.
Live your life in the manner in which YOU want to live it, stop listening to society, your culture, parents, friends, family.. What do YOU want to do with YOUR life? Do you even know?
Do you even know who you are?
Are you the exact same copy as someone else or are you unique? If someone were to go to your country and look for you in a crowed would they be able to find you? Do you look like everyone else? Will you talk just like everyone else? Dream the same dreams as everyone else?

Take sometime out of your day and ask your self "who am I?" and "what do I like?"
I ask that same question to my self everyday and after I do that -- all the possibilities in the world become endless.
