Yes, when the market conditions decreased starch will be a lot of panic for Cryptocurrency users.
Better when the current conditions do not panic let alone sell coins at a cheap price.
It's best to stay calm and believe that Cryptocurrency will rise again in price.
The cheap price of bitcoin is good for me. I can buy more if it stays at the current price. |

I dln‘t see why bitcoin would be so much different than other currencies eyccept having a strong brand. Bitcoin is a 1st generation blockchain, Ethereum is a 2nd generation blockchain that has additionally smart contracts. 3rd generation blockchains like EOS are ready to launch and no one knows how this will play out in the end
The launch of EOS has been delayed many times. It seems it has many bugs. |

Anyone nows why the price of zcash made such a big jump yesterday? At one moment it was around 380$ and then quickly dropped again. Now it is around 280$
It does not matter now. The price has dropped 45% since then. |

as to speculation.. zcash is the main coin in line to be #1 once eth leaves mining for POS.
There is plenty of time for new coins to arrive and dethrone zcash's claim yet though
The problem is we cant say that zcash will be as stable as ethereum right now in the means of acceptance. I think the price will stay below $80 for the next few weeks. This is a very promising coin. Already bought some. I'll hold till 80usd Zec will get an trust fund just like ETC and BTC. It will moon. I am just looking for a nice shake out dip to buy some The price is not asurance .a promising coin must have a good projects and stability that will known in the future. Its working together with ethereum, maybe it also gets an trust fund. Hype is enough for zec to let it moon. Every altcoin moons rightnow. Why would ZEC get a trust fund? It is already paying 20% to the developers. Because Barry Silbert wants to. Investors can buy ZEC because of this fund. Money will be used for further development just like BTC and ETC trust funds But the developers have already and will be paid a lot. What will they do? Investors will buy ZEC. Price will go up significantly like ETC and BTC. From this money, more devs can work on the ZEC project. Its marketcap is really small rightnow, so it will grow ever more than Ethereum Classic did. You dont want to miss this one. Looks like ZEC is getting really big soon. If the price rises further, the devlopers will be richer. They might have more intensive to work. |

I have been trading for a long time (mining before).
As prediction BTC falled, just keep selling high buying low.
it is easier said than done. i always suggest those who aren't experts in trading to stay away from the market unless they want to buy and hold long term. because at times like this buying low can mean price going lower and selling high can mean price going higher and in both cases you can lose a considerable amount of money because you acted too fast. this is actually the only time that i will admit trading is like gambling. That is true, but people that has been in trading since the beginning has experience. And this pumps/dumps is good profit. Indeed. Some trades are good for long term and some are easily good day trades. Btc i think can be both especially in this like this when the price rises and drops in a matter of weeks. I think experienced traders would know how to tske advantage of these fluctuations. The bitcoin price is very volatile recently. Somebody must have made good profit. |

I like your ambition and share in it, hopefully it will hit 50k+ soon so that some of us can realize our dreams. I always rue not entering bitcoin early but hoping to make the most if it now and going forward into the future.
Its not really to late to engage to bitcoin since as of now we are on still its early stages since bitcoin is just 8 years old and theres lot of thing would happen ahead of us but speaking on 50k i could say that it wont really happen in our lifetime because this price is really high to consider. You are contradicting your own words. When we say, Bitcoin is only 8 years old, it means there is still much to go. By now Bitcoin is able to reform its image from darknet illegal currency to a high potential performing security. This reform is inducing more and more people to switch to Bitcoin. Imagine 1 billion of world population using Bitcoin, what will be the market cap and what will be the price! When you look at the chart, by the end of February 2015 we were at about 250 dollars. Right now we are scratching at the 1200 dollar level. If that rise in percentage would increase the same way, we would hit the 50K dollars sooner than we all think. If you look at the November 2013 price, that was over $1100. So things are not that simple. |

Good point. Bitcoin is depending on here demand to live longer. Making some strong news or updates it will help to gain more adopters. As result Bitcoin demand increase. I know many people are buying the bitcoin. |

@Zeta0S. Did it not occur to you that bitcoin and using a mixing service is already ok for what most need right now? Why is there a need for another cryptocoin like zcash? If the people really want an anonymous coin Monero is the one that they should be looking into. Zcash is another money grab just like Ethereum.
Mixed service cost some fee. I think it is higher than the zcash. I can't find any specific use of Zcash other than the fact that it is backed up by famous people and trying to cash in with the "Anonymity" factor. Monero and Dash are good choice and offer better option than Zcash at the moment and the crazy part is they are cheaper than Zcash. It might take time for it to be popular. So we have to be patient. After there is enough supply, there could be some usage and the price might rise. |

At this rate of % BTC is rising every day i lost my interest in zcash. Why risk trading loss when I have ~3% every day in BTC  The bitcoin price is rising at the moment. But the price rise will not rise forever. The most will be $1000 in December. |

Byrne has a track record — in 2005, he grabbed the spotlight by running a campaign against illegal naked short selling.
In his newest venture, Byrne is trying to make people aware of what’s wrong with the modern political party system, highlighting that there is more than a two-party system of Republicans and Democrats. Byrne has also funded and features in the documentary Rigged 2016, now available for free online viewing.
Taking Advantage of the Blockchain
In an interview with ReasonTV on Rigged 2016, Byrne also discussed topics such as his health, his startup T0, and bitcoin and blockchain technology.
Byrne said he is back from medical leave, and healthy as ever. When asked about why he likes Bitcoin so much, he said that he is “philosophically pro-freedom” and supportive of the idea that there is a form of money that no government can create on a whim.
Byrne went on to say that compared to gold, Bitcoin is the next best thing, quite possibly even better.
“Gold would be impractical, because it’s not digital. Bitcoin seems like the next best thing, maybe even better, because you can beam it across the galaxy. As they call it in South Park, they call it Space Cash.”
Byrne also talked about Overstock, his company converts 90% of bitcoin back to dollars [in order to pay their suppliers], and accumulates the other 10%. Some employees are paid their bonuses in bitcoin, which he says further encourages adoption.
Bitcoin is Part of a Bigger Picture
Patrick Byrne of OverstockSpeaking about the advantages of bitcoin and the blockchain, Byrne explained that for thousands of years mankind has been trading money for goods — buying land, and so forth. This business model according to Byrne has created the market for third-party trust, such as the central banking system.
Using the blockchain removes the need for a third-party dependency, allowing people to trade with each other in a trust-less fashion (with no intermediary); Byrne calls this “consensual exchange.”"

Then I hope you live eternally cause bitcoin will not reach that amount sadly enough, it's just way too high for it to get there the potential is not even there.
Realisticly we can talk about it reaching 2-3k if it's more hyper then the day today.
The 50k is about 80 times of the current value. If the price of bitcoin rise 40% a year, it will just take 15 years. |

It's only okay to be optimistic with the Bitcoin's price. It is okay to picture out that Bitcoin will rise a lot years from now because that would surely be happening. But if you picture out Bitcoin having 50K each before you reach the end of your lifetime, then you're over-optimistic. To be honest, that positive thinking is way too much. We don't know when are you going to die but surely Bitcoin wouldn't be 50K at that point. It's too far from the current price.

1 satoshi costs 100$,, really not bad for dreaming but does not seem to be realistic at all, it is just like a dream of a kid who thinks almost everything impossible or near impossible, maybe bitcoin will reach that point some day, but we wont be alive to see that i guess.
That will only happen when there is very bad inflation of the US currency. Otherwise it will take many centruries to reach that level. and the huge inflation is going to happen pretty soon in my opinion, i hope that the price is going to be even bigger than 50 k dollars I do not think the big inflation will happen soon. The inflation is very low at the moment. A 1% interest rise will reduce the inflation rate. |

maybe we don't have this experience, and only our grand children will have. what we can do for them is, hold some of our bitcoin, tell the stories about bitcoin to them, give them our bitcoin as a gift, teach them how to use it and make it grow more bitcoin. i think this is what i want to do for my next generations.
yeah i think bitcoin has a bright future and I'm sure bitcoin will always grow but I think it will require hundreds of years for bitcoin to achieve a very high price. and I thought you were dead when bitcoin prices are already very high I also think the bitcoin price bright future. That was the reason I bought the bitcoin a few years ago and hold since then. |

Halving is true and it happening now, but if you will have profit in this halving no one knows , it depends on the value supply I'd more continue to buy bitcoin it will continue to increase. It is not actually happening because it already happened or took place earlier this month. However, the effect has not yet been felt by the investors and we are still patiently waiting for that time to come and harvest our profit from our investment. The halving effect could be felt 10 to 15 months after the halving. The mass adoption is an important factor. No, it can be felt this year alone and we should think positive that it will happen, the current price surge is a good thing after the hard fall. And this is a good sign the we can achieve our speculation that after the halving the price will increase, we just need to wait for more now. The bitcoin price shall rise to double the current level in the middle of next year. If there is good news, the price will be higher. |

It's hard to tell if the price will increase or not. We've already had some big increases this year so that could be accounted for already. The price also depends on individuals that are investing and their demand for bitcoin, so you can't always predict what people will do in this situation.
Yes it is hard to have a gesture but the most probable thing is that the price will not increase and it is capable to decrease. If you think that way you are limiting the capability and value of bitcoins to be big in the future, we should believe in the price increase even though we cannot predict the right outcome but bitcoin has never stop surprising us. The price will increase mainly due to the adoption by the general public. It is less affected by halving in the future. it all depends on the price. it's true that due to the fact that there will be less and less coins to be mined that the impact will be smaller, but if the price increases with 200% for example, the halving will still have a great impact on the price. Of course that is already proven when the price increases last month even the halving in not happening yet, maybe due to the hype people are buying which increases the demand but in reality we are really increasing in terms of volume of users. The price drop now is quite good. It is a correction of the previous two months big rise. it will rise soon after the halving. |
