1  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTS Steam Gift Card, $35 for $50 Card on: May 26, 2017, 12:11:00 AM
How can i sure that the GC is legit and not carded or any other illegal means ?
If this one is legit, take me in, i'll buy these :v

Well, I don't know how I would prove it to you. It's a physical card, if that makes a difference. I could always send a pic to you. I can also just give you my word, but I'm sure that's probably not enough.
2  Economy / Digital goods / WTS Steam Gift Card, $35 for $50 Card on: May 24, 2017, 10:33:57 PM
Hi, all. As the title suggests, I want to sell my STEAM card. I will use escrow, mostly because I want to have a good reputation on this site. Check why my reputation is in the red before judging me. I'm inexperienced.

Anyways, contact me if you are interested, either down here in the comments or in PM. Pick an escrow. Make sure they have a perfect reputation and all that jazz. I'm not here to steal any money, I just want to sell my gift card.

Edit: Edited title to reflect more sensible price
3  Economy / Digital goods / (WTS) $50 Steam Gift Code (Escrow Accepted) on: May 24, 2017, 07:48:28 PM
Hello. I am selling a $50 Steam card. However, contrary to my previous post, I will use escrow if the person is reputable and reliable. I am ready to make a sale whenever you are.

If you're wondering why I don't sell this card on Local Bitcoins, it's because I want the full value of the card. I looked at their prices, and there's no way I'm accepting $13 for something I paid $50 for.

Also, I'm letting you pick the person who will work as the payment handler. But if they don't have a good reputation, they will not be used.

Thank you for understanding.
4  Economy / Auctions / Re: 1 oz. Gold Bar Up for Auction [USA] on: May 23, 2017, 01:20:08 AM
First of all, I wasn't entirely sure what escrow was at that time. I've learned a lot more about the process since then, as well as how people can exploit it. Secondly, I made it very clear that I wasn't expecting anything to come up out of that. And look at the date it was posted. If you're going to berate me, at least do it with something more up-to-date.

He's simply pointing out you don't accept escrow, which will not go down well here at all, sorry. Tongue

Good luck, regardless.

Thank you for being polite about it. I'm sure nothing will come out of this, but it's okay, I guess.

6  Economy / Auctions / 1 oz. Gold Bar Up for Auction [USA] on: May 23, 2017, 01:08:06 AM
As the title suggests, I am auctioning a gold bar. The auction will last for 30 minutes, and start at $700. At 9:30 EST, the last post that has the highest bid will win, and I will contact them in PM.

However, I do not accept escrow. I have been scammed too many times by escrow services, and I'm not doing it again. If you have a problem with this, don't post here. If you want to place a bid, please do so. I can deliver via FedEx and UPS, standard shipping. I would truly appreciate you keeping your negative comments to yourself.

Believe me, I understand everyone's concern, but after how many times I've had shit rain down on me from these "safe" escrow services, I refuse to use them.

Good Day.

Essentially, yes.

As I said it may be required very rarely, but when it would be required people will most likely use someone that is already highly trusted. So it would be very difficult to gain people's trust without having past interactions that gained you trust.

You need to start small and work your way up. A situation that would require a mediator would most likely be over a large amount of BTC.

Okay, that's rather disappointing to hear. But thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. Maybe I can find some other skill that's useful lol. Seriously, though, thanks.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: I Have an Idea, But I do Not Know How to Go About It. on: December 29, 2016, 09:41:43 PM
Typically the escrow would deal with the disputes, so I don't know if there would be a need for a fourth party to get involved.
Maybe some situation might call for it, but it would be rare.

Good point. So in this case, my service is completely useless?
9  Other / Off-topic / I Have an Idea, But I do Not Know How to Go About It. on: December 29, 2016, 09:35:23 PM
Hi guys! So, as I've been looking around for work that I can do, I've noticed that really the only way people recommend making money here on the forum is to join a signature campaign, some say faucets, etc... but I want to offer services in mediation. See, I'm a great "people person" as one might say, and I always have been. I don't have any marketable skills yet that pertain to the usual grind of the cryptocurrency world, such as coding, so I feel like being a mediator would be just right for me. My friends all say I'm good at settling disputes. So I'm asking you guys, do you think I should go for it? Would anybody on this forum even have need of my services? And, on a side note, people would not trust me as an escrow because of my rank,  so I would need a trusted escrow to hold the disputed funds. As I type this, I wonder if I am even being sensible. I don't know of anywhere on the Internet that would be hiring for someone like me. I've done research. But, that's another story. I just want to put my people skills to use, while making some Bitcoin (probably from tips to start with) on the side.

Thanks for reading this long-ish post. Have a nice day, to all of you.

The faucets are paying low rewards because they lost adsense, the best income for faucet owners. And until now it's hard for them to grow rewards again. Keep watching this section and you will find some offers.

I found a Sig Campaign that accepts newbies, but I'll have to wait 'till next week to apply lol. Anyways, thanks again guys for your help!

If they don't answer you or don't accept for any reason, wait until Jr. Member or if possible, Member rank to join a good campaign and stay with them for a good time.

This way you can have more options too, so you can choose that campaign with the requirements that adapt better to your conditions.

Will do. Thanks for the tips!

Hi, guys!

Sorry for responding so late to all of your posts. I really appreciate the answers you guys gave me. The were very insightful, and they are giving me glimpses of what this community's all about. Which is a good thing, as some Bitcoin communities are far less savoury than this one. Getting activity up seemed to be a very common tip, so I'll definitely start working on that! And also, thank you for telling me about the thing with faucets losing access to Google Adsence:

13  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you discover bitcoin? on: December 21, 2016, 04:47:49 AM
Actually, I discovered Bitcoin through the Dark Net. Here's the story:

I was in my room one day, browsing the deep web, when suddenly a thought came to my mind: "Hey, I have a prepaid Visa... why not see if I can get a Rolex off one of those sites!" And so my search began. I found a market that hadn't been plagued with horrible reviews and thought, with evil spinning in my mind: "I'm gonna get me a $2,000 watch for $10 bucks!" and then I realized something. Actually, three things. First, I was a complete moron, as I saw that I wasn't going to get a Rolex for $10. Second, Dark Net markets don't take credit cards as payment. And third, Bitcoin is the currency with which things are purchased on the deep web. And so I researched, and researched, and researched some more, until I became averagely (I don't think that's a word) knowledgeable on how the cryptocurrency scene works. I've been trying to find ways to earn ever since, but not so that I can buy a Rolex from the Dark Web. No, I prefer instead to be just a simple hobbyist.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you want to receive this coming christmas 2016? on: December 21, 2016, 04:37:47 AM

15  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you want to receive this coming christmas 2016? on: December 21, 2016, 04:36:31 AM
Well, since you're asking, maybe you could get me a new Antminer S9? This is Santa I'm replying to, right?  Roll Eyes

Anyways, I would like to spend Christmas with my family. Sure, some money would be nice, but that's not what it's all about. To me, at least.
16  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: About Faucets... and Maybe Some Other Problems on: December 20, 2016, 10:27:38 PM
Don't do faucets... seriously, it's not worth your time. If you need money you will have to find a job, you said that there are no jobs in the area so maybe you should freelance online. Learn a skill: programming, make websites, designing,... Start small by doing little jobs on this forum for example and work your way up. The only way to make money is to work hard
Good luck!

Yeah, I figured Faucets were useless. I've definitely looked into freelancing, but being 17 in the United States, the law doesn't allow me to sign for contracts. If I can find someone I can help on the forum, I will most certainly do so. And you're right, if I want to make any kind of real money, hard work is needed. Maybe my dilemma is finding my niche? I don't know. But thank you for giving me the great advice! I really appreciate it!
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First approach 2 BTC on: December 20, 2016, 09:55:09 PM
So, I can answer the fifth point of your post:

1 BTC = 1.0 BTC (Just for notation. This line is for Demonstration purposes only.)
1 mBTC = 0.001 BTC
1 Bit = 0.000001 BTC
1 Satoshi = 0.00000001 BTC

Hope that helps!
18  Economy / Micro Earnings / About Faucets... and Maybe Some Other Problems on: December 20, 2016, 09:16:19 PM
So, I've heard of faucets before and I realized just how little they give out. Based on my most recent experience, Moon Bitcoin, which was one of the highest paying, is paying about half of what it did three months ago. Is there a real reason for this? I know that faucets aren't the best way to go about getting Bitcoin, but you'd think with all the ads they have they'd make enough to keep the faucet from drying up. I'm not complaining, really, I'm not. I'm just a tad confused. I'm desperate to get some money (no jobs in my local area, I'm 17 without a license. Say what you wish about that, I won't judge) but none of my business ventures are taking off. I'm stuck against a wall, I guess you could say. I've tried gambling with the faucet income (don't judge) from the dice sites, but always get screwed in the end. I'm not trying to complain but my GOD it's hard. Can't wait for adulthood in three months...

Anyways, thanks for reading that. Feels nice to let that go.

I'm thinking about starting a mediation business, where I charge nothing for the service, but accept tips from the kind souls willing to give them. Hell, I have a whole plan, but the problem is applying it. Because of the reputation system and member ranks, it's hard for anyone to trust me. If it's not that I don't know what it is, other than the way I go about advertising myself. Perhaps no one takes me seriously because I'm younger (I've given my age a couple times on here)? I don't know. But what I do know is that I need to relax, and have a cup of hot tea. If anybody has any suggestions on how I should proceed, please post them down below. It means a lot to me. Thanks, everyone.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: December 20, 2016, 03:45:07 PM
I don't hate Muslims, I hate what has stemmed from Islam. On one hand, you have a group of nice, really amazing people, but on the other, you have extremists, one group for each finger, and most definitely more. I've met a few Muslims, and I have to say, most of them are very nice people. It's a shame that countries like the U.S. have to hate on them so much. Being a Christian myself, I guess you could say I'm a little biased. But, without a doubt, the majority of the Muslim population is made of great people.
20  Economy / Services / Should I Start This Affiliate Business? on: December 19, 2016, 10:27:04 PM
So, I've been on the forum for a couple of months now, observing what others do and keeping to myself on most things because, quite frankly, I don't want to aggravate anybody on the forums and get myself banned. I've tried a couple different business ideas. One was stupid, the other just didn't take off like I had hoped for it to. I guess it's because of my rank on the forums, or maybe because nobody knows me all that well.

Anyways, I stumbled across a Bitcoin mixing service that does affiliate marketing. If I were to refer someone there. and they mixed their coins, I would receive a 50% commission on either what they tumbled, or the tumbling fee. Can't remember which but I'm almost positive it's the latter. Would anybody be interested in using my affiliate links if I were to post them, or even send them to you through PM by request? They're a relatively new site, and they have clearnet and darknet links (just in case you do some nefarious things on the side...). I haven't used them personally, but I've read pretty good reviews so far. Yes, there are legal reasons you could say for using this, such as to keep anonymity to a higher level, since I've read that Bitcoin isn't totally anonymous. You might need Tor browser if you want to stay even more anonymous, and you might want to get a PGP tool like Kleopatra if you want to keep their PGP-based Letter of Guartantee.

The website requests what looks like to be about a 2% fee (if my math is right). For example, if you wanted to mix 0.5 BTC, your fee would be 0.00996971 BTC. I, as the affiliate, would earn 50% of that. If you're interested, comment below and we'll work something out. I'm running out of ways to earn any kind of money, I think I've posted before about my situation. You'd probably rather not hear about that, though. It's depressing on my end.

Anyways, have a good evening/morning/afternoon ( wherever you are Smiley ) and have happy holidays.
