Very soon, I'm testing currently.

Hi #ocminer is this up and running yet? Where does the polo id go?

Claymore my miner thread hangs frequently, and it wont restart. I mean when remote-connect to the machine and on the miner window press down arrow "miner thread hanged, restarting" message pops up, but untill I do so, the machine just stays in freeze mode for 4 - 6 hours causing me significant loss. I need to keep checking on machines almost regular. I have set the miner to restart every 60 minutes with -r 60 but nothing happens. I'm using Ver 7.1 of your miner on RX 470's, 16.9.2 drivers on Win 10.

Hi Claymore, I changed from V7.1 to 7.2 and used the new low intensity dag creation and it works great. I can overclock my undervolted 390's a bit more and it starts up ok!

But I have the same problem now with the program hanging with the "miner thread hanged, restarting" dialog box that requires clicking to proceed.

Edit: It doesn't happen every time there is a problem and the miner restarts, sometimes it restarts OK. OS is Windows 10, Eth/SC

The dialog box says...

"EthDcrMiner64.exe has stopped working" A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.   > Close program <

use -dcri 40 on the 390 you should get around 600 SIA. and no loss in etherum hashrate.

-dcri 64 works best on the Nanos 700-800MHASH SIA. and lo loss in etherum hashrate.

Thanks for that, with -drci 40   ETH 32.2MH/s SIA 644MH/s per R9 390 gpu and $ return up 11% according to https://www.whattomine.com/merged_coins/2-eth-sc (if power consumption remains the same).

Cheers

Anyone how's R9 390 performance in dual mode ETHSIA comparing to ETHDCR? I see huge performance drop on same settings

yeah same! Im running 5 R9 390s in a rig, and running 1055 core 1500 mem I was getting 150MH/s ETH and 4000MH/s DCR. Now with SIA Mining, I'g getting 134MH/s ETH 3370MH/s SIA. Didnt change any settings in the config file. :/

When I switched from ETH/DRC to ETH/SIA my R9 390's started hitting their power limiter which was set to the stock value 0.

I removed the power limit by adding -powlim 50 to the config file and the hash rate went to 33MH/s ETH and 495MH/s SIA per card (-cclock 1155 -tt -100 -dcri 30)

Check that your power supplies are able to do a bit more, my rig increased it's power consumption by 7.2% with ETH/SIA.
