1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Problems with BitFinex import API on: December 23, 2017, 10:42:25 AM
Hi
I have looked for service like your for a long time
really happy to find you
I think there is a problem in bitfinex API import
it imports only a few of the trades I think only the deposit and after 5-6 tries
I have tried to change API keys I have tried to do it manually etc every time it import 1-2 orders out of 5-10
and the big problem is after when you import CSV it gives you a warning that asks you to delete all the trades in order for the API import to work and it still don't work Sad
username is sirobvo@gmail.com

I'm having this same problem. New trades are not being imported, even after a forced reload on the Jobs area.

Is this a problem with Cointracking or BitFinex API?

Best,
cptvk

Same for me as well.  It only will pull in a few trades at a time when using the API, have not tried csv import yet. I'm going to let it run for a few days and see if it gets all the trades in.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antbleed: A remote shutdown backdoor in antminers on: April 26, 2017, 09:59:04 PM
Quote
Antbleed is a backdoor introduced by Bitmain into the firmware of their bitcoin mining hardware Antminer.

The firmware checks-in with a central service randomly every 1 to 11 minutes. Each check-in transmits the Antminer serial number, MAC address and IP address. Bitmain can use this check-in data to cross check against customer sales and delivery records making it personally identifiable. The remote service can then return "false" which will stop the miner from mining.

Read http://www.antbleed.com/ for more info

The shutdown backdoor has been independently tested by multiple people.
So we know that the backdoor allows for there to be a false shutdown command sent to miners, is there any idea what other kinds of exploits are possible off of this, beyond some potential shenanigans happening with miner's hardware?

I'm looking through it and I'm not seeing anything that says anything about further potential implications of this bug. I don't believe it would be possible to take remote control of the hardware through this, would it?

I'm reading that they could also do a remote reflash of the firmware and potentially brick the hardware.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BCAP] THE FIRST DIGITAL LIQUID VENTURE FUND - BLOCKCHAIN CAPITAL FUND on: April 10, 2017, 01:25:15 PM
I heard they just changed the memorandum 4 hours before the start of the ICO.  They upped the amount offered from 10 Million to 20 Million.

I find this highly sketchy.  Plus the fact that the memorandum is not a PDF, just a scan image, so not searchable.

"10,000,000 BCAP Tokens, which we may increase by notice on TokenHub by up to 10,000,000 BCAP tokens, totaling a maximum of 20,000,000 BCAP tokens."

This was not there yesterday.

Why are you deliberately spreading FUD, the ICO has started and the fund is still capped at $10 million

I guarantee they will increase it to $20 million.
