As for issues with collusion in poker... I don't see a problem... If there are 1000's of players and hundreds of tables, trying to organise predictable collusion opportunities when table allocation is provably random would be impossible.
This is false. All it takes is 2 players and/or bots at one table colluding to give themselves a massive edge... Pretending collusion is not a problem is either very naive or very dishonest... 90% of play these days is tourneys anyway which are collusion-resistant... Why people insist on replicating cash table games in p2p poker is beyond me. Tourneys are not collusion resistant. Players stake other players and will play differently with them when they are at the same table. That's basically colluding. |

Why are you asking? Dev has chosen to stay anonymous, we have to respect his decision because that would encourage me to buy We still don't know who developed Bitcoin, the largest market cap crypto right now. That doesn't guarantee success in any crypto, but it shouldn't hinder it either. |

I doubt anyone is paying people to FUD a small coin like this. That's a bit of a stretch. Maybe when we hit a bigger exchange, Vitalik will start paying for FUD. |

If you guys keep watching the stock, after the whales left, most of those trades are selling. Buying support is fucking thin. You guys try to lure newbies to this coin just to see them become baghodlers? And you guys still believe a fucking tiny Japanese article can push the price 300% in 3 days for a coin like this? The real total market cap for total 280 millions coin is more than $200.000.000 for a 3 months old coin with no fucking nothing like this? That's sucked. Why are you pissed off? Any demand is going to push it up. Even as you said, it trades thin. There are only 1% of coins mined and it will be many years from now until we reach 50% mined. I think there's plenty of time to develop the coin and justify a high market cap. Either way, true market cap is based on the coins currently circulating. If LTC can have a multi-billion dollar market cap, surely we can begin rising up from 1-2 million. |

Still an easy 100x from here short term. I mean considering how little known it is, how low the market cap and volume are. Easily $75. LTC's market cap is 2700x higher right now with 11,000x the volume in the past 24 hours. Both have been active so it's a good comparison right now.

As an early investor and donator, I have been watching this coin closely since the early day and the last 3 days it has been clearly pumped by a couple of people. Volume is too low so it's easy for them to manipulate the price, fake buy fake sell appear and disappear again and again. The coin is in the very early days and we have archived not too much, but the price is spiking so hard. My big bag is now x3 and I'm quite happy with that, but this scared the shit out of me and other experienced investors I believe.
The coin can not be ruined, but could be slowed down its natural and organic progress. The most important reason I like this gem is its organic growth like I mentioned before, and it quite disturbing to see if it's just another pump and dump coin for greedy people taking profit.
Anyway, the community is nice and it's also quite disturbing to see someone "fuck you if you disagree" here.
Only thing disturbing is how serious you take yourself. If you want to sell, then sell. Stop trying to blame someone else for your lack of faith in Ella. The so called "pumper" and "manipulator" as you say, is an accumulator in my mind, and they seem to be more than willing to buy anything you sell. |

I'm glad I got my Ella when I saw it at 400 SATs I can't even believe they are trading for almost 8k now. What's the newest development for the coin? New investors coming in? Hashrate spiking up? Or just a pump?
Probably a little of all three tbh. ELLA has had pretty consistent grow over the last couple months so the price is probably just playing catch up atm. I disagree with a pump though, the coin is solid. This has to be organic growth. Yeah, it's not behaving anything like a pump. Someone is accumulating and they're trying to not make it obvious. |

And really the point of what I'm saying is that I think the intention of these cryptocurrencies was to spread around the hashing power as you said so EVERYONE gets some, not 95% going to the top 5%. Because it's simple, who do you think is going to value their crypto more? The person who has endless supply of it in comparison with others, or the small fish who can only obtain a few? If we were all, as intended I believe, small fish, then the value and incentive to add value would exist in greater abundance within the community. I know it's a pointless rant because greedy pig miners are par for the course in this space, but hey I felt like complaining just once because someone needs to call out these leeches.

I've been holding this for a few weeks now and admittedly getting kind of bored, but every time I go looking at the other shit that's out there, I realize what a gem this is. Literally everything else out there feels so disorganized and scam-like. There might not be much to Ellaism right now, but what is there is very clean, organic, honest. I hope the crypto community will see the value here.
It was quiet there for a week or two, however the price has cranked up over 50% in the last 24 hours. As soon as these greedy short minded miners stop dumping, the sky is the limit. I hate these people who have turned mining into a business. They are the definition of greed. I mine with a single 1050 TI and can't even accumulate because these hogs who turned on all their miners on Ellaism this past few days, just dump on the market as soon as they get paid. They're literally good for nothing. Go mine Ethereum, losers. They saw the larger than normal volume the other day and a jump in price, that's all. Pretty smart since there is no whattomine on this yet. I am still hashing since day 1 with at least a single 1070. Spread the hash around.  I just don't get how someone pays thousands of dollars to operate miners that mainly just increase difficulty for everyone else and themselves, when they could just buy ELLA. Tell me what's easier to do right now, mine a block or buy 5 ELLA for a little over 2 dollars? Rhetorical question. Yes, technically the electricity used to obtain 5 ELLA will cost less than 2 dollars, but the miner rig is still expensive. I've been around since 2011. I hated them back then and I hate them now. |
