I wonder what kind of market there will be for reserving IOC names. Any kind of rush for this would bring money into the coin as well. Lots of possibilities out there......
If we implement the blockchain interoperability for example this opens up great opportunities.
If we have like multiple blockchains connected, then this alias system is interoperable between those chains.
If we have a connected "pizza hut" blockchain for whatever reason, then you can pay IOC to the alias pizzahut-io for example.
If they are not connected they still can accept payments. If they want to receive BTC for a pizza, you can theoretically send IOC to pizzahut-io and 'a service' can convert this to BTC because we are interoperable with BTC someday. Even add another converter that converts the BTC to $ in the end. Alias is not just for payments, but messaging as well.
lets say we create a new Twitter service. (or somebody else does that), then the info stored in the Blockchain can be tied to the alias a.k.a your decentralized Twitter handle.
Would love to read other ideas people will have with this.
