Yeh dude i saw that listed on ebay and was like WTF why is this got a bid at 40 pounds? supposed it was because the person did not put much care in reading the listing.

no doubt now, thanks
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: noobie question regardings reversible payments on: March 30, 2013, 02:26:31 PM
Hi,
right: paypal is reversible because if you open a dispute payment gets reversed and if youve sent btc already you can't reverse them, so you get scammed.

how are debit cards reversible? and also if i had selled you a physical item isn't that irreversible aswell once you have sent the
parcel..
Maybe with paypal you can claim you have sent it since its physicall and it doesn't go against the rules (like btc i think), but with credit/debit card?

Credit and debit cards can be chargedback Wink

so i can basicaly go to any online shop buy with credit card get my order sent and then reverse it and scam them?

And get in trouble for reversing legit payments.

Hmm..
So then making a deposit for a company like mt gox which keeps track of all transactions and requires identity documents to verify your account, not be seen as a legit paymnet?

It kills me that i cannot use it due to shortage of payment methods.

13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Help with Ukash on: March 30, 2013, 02:05:55 PM
EDIT:  No help needed anymore

Since I couldn't find an answer to my questions before deciding to use ukash ill put the answers here for any searcher

- Although it lets you convert currency, and even if when testing the code you get ''country restriction: no'' its all bullshit
YOU CANNOT USE IT IN ANOTHER COUNTRY, if you do so the code will get blocked and you will have to face a few days of sending emails providing all sorts of evidence, etc..

- Page is full of glitches, right now i press the withdraw button to cash my voucher back into money and it redirects me to an error page. I asked them about this and they say they would fix it in 2 weeks

- Glitches with converting currencys and then the new code you get is invalid athough conversion has supposedly been succesful, then you find out the old one before the currency change is still working.. terrible

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTB 15£ worth of LTC on: March 30, 2013, 01:08:06 AM

I can see some on the front page now 7% higher than the spot price. Shop around. You'll always pay more than the mtgox rate on there though.

Well, when I look the cheapest I see with 1 btc min. is 79.31 GBP.

edit: wtf? typo'd bitch instead of btc somehow haha

You might find it easier to simply buy Bitcoins and then buy the Litecoins with Bitcoins from btc-e.com

Try localbitcoins.com. They are great for small amounts and you can even do escrow.

I can tell you buying bitcoins in the UK is nothing but simple. Therefore unless your lucky, prices here for bitcoins are 15% more or higher than GBP spot price, which kind of pisses me off.

btw noob question, what is escrow? I have heard it tons of times and i know its a type of encryption, but how does it apply to buying/selling btc?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTB 15£ worth of LTC on: March 29, 2013, 02:58:25 PM

I knew that one, sent him a message last week through facebook and he still hasn't replied so i decided to move on. Shame because i would use it every single time if he uses spot prices.

Cheers for the info though
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WTB 140-150 LTC FIAT on: March 29, 2013, 03:49:25 AM
Hi,
just wanted to buy a little bit of LTC, 15£ through wire transfer to the UK or Europe. If you are from the US ill round it to 25$, but it would have to be through paypal, i see no other way around it. My paypal account is verified btw and ive had it for like 7 or more years if that makes you more confident.

Was going to buy with btc-e but cba having to verify an okpay account submitting all kind of documents just to wire in 15 pounds are we mad or what?

Thanks!

i love how it is not controlable by the gov and I can feel im a bit relieved of the day to day complete domination control the gov has on me and everyone.
