Awesome, two of my favorite things!!

I'm in it for the long hall. If I lose what I have in, so be it, but I think that there is a future in BTC. I also think that too many people and corporations have invested in it at this point for it to just go away.
ps- There are ways to still grow in the bitcoin world even when prices are down and/or dropping...

None of the above.
Bank bail ins in a country that people have heard of (no offense talking about the masses here) that can't be swept under the rug. (aka not Cyprus, but Spain Germany or France)

They might find out how great of a system this is when basically everyone who claims anything bitcoin related claims a loss and nobody at all claims profit.

Is anyone really going to pay taxes on bitcoin? Really?
Maybe a few big time investors, but normal people shouldn't be affected by this at all. How hard is it to shuffle your coins around a bit or sell them anonymously for cash?
Anyone paying taxes is choosing to do so. And I have my doubts as to how many bitcoin users will choose to pay taxes.
I don't go to jail over anything...unless it is a righteous cause. Tax evasion is not a righteous cause. That is highly debatable. So what winds up happening is that we pay income tax to pay back the central bank (fed reserve) for the interest they charge us (as a private corporation) to use money (which is supposed to be created by congress thru the treasury for no interest at all) that they create out of thin air but receive MASSIVE profits for, by basically enslaving our citizens and our country as debt slaves... So exactly how "righteous" is it to be supporting THAT system? From the Grace Commision (mind you debt to the fed and interest on that debt has gone up WAY more than US income since the 80s, so we are paying them more now) ....“With two thirds of everyone’s personal income taxes wasted or not collected, 100 percent of what is collected is absorbed solely by interest on the federal debt and by federal government contributions to transfer payments. In other words, all individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services [that] taxpayers expect from their government."

There is a psychological barrier because milli and micro sound 'small'. People don't want to hand over a whole wad of greenbacks and receive micro-bitcoins. I'm a fan of using uBTC but just referring to them as 'bits'.
Are there people who think "I've got 50 bucks! You know what, I've a notion to buy some bitcoins. How much would I get? Oh no! Only 83 millibitcoins I guess I just won't bother."? I guess there might be, but it's presumably a fairly small demographic. I sell to a guy thru localbitcoins.com who fits that description. He is by no means a high roller and he buys around $100 worth each time, he is a pizza delivery guy but he moves some loot into BTC when he can afford it. They are out there, not everybody is completely clueless about math. and on the metric system topic... my god what a sad state of affairs that "Americans think metric is too hard" it is a base ten COUNTING system. It is literally the easiest system for humans to count and if they really are too fucking stupid to move a goddamn decimal point their fuckin smartphone will do it for them. I'll be back, I need to go smash my head into a wall for a bit (or maybe a megabit) while I contemplate whether there actually is any particular reason for the existence of humans.

If that happened I'd be rich!! (....crosses fingers and really really hopes everyone gets it)

if only there where other coins that could be mined... that wouldn't have a black reward reduction at that exact same time, thus providing an alternative , man wouldn't something like that be sweet? Like a Lite version of bitcoin... or some sorts of alternate coins, altcoins if you will. But that is just crazy talk, it would never happen.

I hate when the media refers to someone as "Bitcoin CEO"
|
|
|
aww shucks the dirty ass governments can't dig into our pockets and tax bitcoin... oh no..
FUCK 'EM.
|
|
|
You mean the same media companies that are owned by the central bankers aren't going out of their way to praise their competitor who is based on directly undermining their profitable brand of corruption?
You don't say...
|
|
|
They should BAN those things.... I heard people use dollars to buy DRUGS!!!
|
|
|
So I guess the 24/7 media FUD is working... shocker.
They know that the vast majority of people take anything they put out there at face value and don't ever investigate or think for themselves.

Bitcoin is just another FIAT currency.

Yeah... this seems legit.

From the video it's about Texas where firearms are allowed with a legislation, the title is misleading.
But worldwide it is illegal!
And my personnal stance on this is : NO! I disagree with firearms being sold to people, this open access to firearms to responsable and at the same time to irresponsable people, it makes the danger of crime and retaliation on a whole other level. I prefer to live in a community where no one has fire arms than a community where criminals have firearms and I'm allowed to buy one to defend myself, it's still to risky! not to mention the accidents possibility
Yeah fuck it, I'll bite. Call me crazy but I say give guns to ANYONE who wants 'em. What do we have now? Cops with a license to KILL and citizens who can't defend themselves. If everyone had guns... even the nuts and the undesirables, you have an amazing system of checks and balances. Cop gonna beat that citizen? Tell him how "These hands are about to fuck you up" You sure about that when ANYONE could be lurking with a piece ready to send you into the next lifetime? Mob justice would ABSOLUTELY be better than government tyranny, and EVERY government turns corrupt and tyrannical on a long enough timeline, look around. Give 'em all guns, pass 'em out to whoever wants 'em. It would make the world a better place. I wouldn't even stop there. I think that citizens should have access to ANY weapons that authority can have. Military gets UZIs, Ok, then everyone else does too. No monopoly on power and control for anyone, and once again, the world would be a better place. We will NEVER be free as long as they have the power (and goons) to keep the masses in line.

edit: oops, still confused but I solved the problem previously in this post.

Sorry, I know it seems very basic, but I don't want to fuck this up and lock myself out of my account since I have some funds in there. I do have email authorization, but I would love to add google authenticator too.
I went to the page and it has the barcode to scan but then it comes up with two windows
Private key (followed by a long string of letters and #s) Base 32 Key (followed by a long string of letters and #s)
One Time Password _____
I scanned the barcode, which created a BTC-E code, but it was not accepted, now I am confused.
here are the instructions from that page, which are not in english:
