" “The exchange of dollar bills, including high denomination bills, is currently unregulated and has allowed users to participate in illicit activity, while also being highly subject to forgery, theft, and loss,” wrote Polis in a statement.z'"

Now that is pretty funny!

LOL!

Yeah - it's a parody of Manchin's call to ban bitcoin.

I've met Polis a couple of times. While we don't see eye to eye on a lot of things (e.g. the role of the state), we've got some common ground in other areas (e.g. personal freedoms).

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

I've been convicted of heresy. Convicted by a mere known extortionist. Read my Trust for details.

Yeah I don't get that as a criticism. I've had people tell me Bitcoin should be banned because people use it to buy child porn and it's "anonymous". Do these people never consider that cash is far, far more anonymous than bitcoins, and used for far more nefarious activities?

Cyrpto is new to them and necessitates change.

People hate change and fail to realise that change is inevitable but suffering is optional.
