Claymore, I noticed the front page of the thread with the new release links no longer mentions the issues with Nvidia 9xx and new drivers on Windows 10.  Has that been resolved and Maxwell cards can mine at full hashrate with latest drivers in windows 10?

Hi Claymore,
Off topic this..... are you still updating your XMR miner?
Is this a viable 3rd coin, after DCR and SIA for dual mining?

I don't see ways to make my XMR miner faster, but right now I test it with latest cards and in a few hours I will release new version that will detect latest cards and use best settings for them.

xmr or lbry i think
xmr is very cool algorytm
xmr has bye orders more than eth Smiley

XMR cannot be added to ETH dual miner as the second coin, though in theory it could be added instead of ETH, i.e. as first coin.
I will check LBRY and some other coins very soon.

Could you link to your official downloads for XMR miner?    Can it be run simultaneously with your ethminer?

I have good offer to buy brand new 6x Gigabyte RX 480. Any thoughts or experience?

if they are reference go for it.  when undervolted and optimized for mining they dont run that hot or loud IMO

Am I doing something wrong? I see many people here running 6 X RX480 on the BTC PRO MB and Win7 and Win10, I have the same setup using powered risers and with 6 cards can't even get to post. Most I got working is 4 cards. I have the MB running 295 X2 GPU, 3 of them for a total of 6 GPU's fine, but no dice with the 480's. Am I missing something?

How many GPU's do you have on device manager and what are their status?

I can only boot into windows with 4 CPUs plugged into MB, I see all 4. But when adding a 5th or 6th on the MB, fails to post. does not even get to load windows. No post. I tried win10, win7 and even EthOS which is linux based. Same symptoms, will not post with more then 4 GPUs. I even tried the H97 Anniversary MB, same thing, best I can get is 4 cards.

I had the same problem on H97 anniversary.  The fix was to install Windows in UEFI mode and its been smooth sailing since.

v6.1:

- Fixed issue with high CPU load for NVIDIA cards.
- NVIDIA: now two builds are available: for CUDA 7.5 and for CUDA 6.5.
- Fixed issue with resetting WattMan settings.

NOTE: Still no Linux version yet, I need to have stable Windows version firstly.
NOTE2: I don't see good hashrates in cuda 6.5, at least in Win7. May be some specific drivers version must be used?

How do we make it use cuda 6.5 path?

You don't have to use cuda path. To use cuda6.5 you should copy files from "cuda6.5" folder (download miner v6.1 and find this folder) to main miner folder.

Thanks....no difference on performance with 980ti/Win10/372.54.  Getting 4 MH/s per card

New 372.54 Nvidia drivers released today.  No fix for maxwell win 10 poor eth performance unfortunately......

AFAIK maxwell just doesnt do ethereum nicely. the new pascal can however

Apparently they do ok with Genoil on Windows 7

2 980ti's on Win10 with 368.81.  Works but getting like 3mh/s out of each card.  I saw the recommened driver was 369.05 but that only supports Pascal correct?

EDIT: Confirmed that 369.05 will not install on Maxwell

Install windows 7 , and stop this suffering.
you will lost more time tryng to make this work on 10,

Its primarily my gaming rig as I have dedicated AMD miner systems so wont be going back to 7 on this one.  But will mine some extra coin on the side if I can get it working decently.

this is api from dwarfpool

RIG: 4GPUS
3 x R9 280 with Claymore 5.3 catalyst 15.2 is mining ETH only

RIG: RIG3GPUS

3x R9 280 with ETHminer + proxy catalyst 15.2

Can anyone tell me what is the point of using CLAYMORE?!

The point is that you can mine 2 coins together

yes but when you mine 2 coins together the hashrate drops big time...

Did you set all the recommended paramaters in the OP guide?  I use Claymore because I get better hashrate than ethminer+stratum + built in card reporting and control.  I only mine eth

can you tell me about what parameters you are talking about?

REgards

GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

For multi-GPU systems, set Virtual Memory size in Windows at least 16 GB:
"Computer Properties / Advanced System Settings / Performance / Advanced / Virtual Memory".

Can anyone confirm that Kepler 780 works with the Nvidia support?

Hey Claymore,

Will the Nvidia support be a seperate .exe or will the new miner be able to mine with Nvidia and AMD in the same system and claymore instance?  Also will it Support Kepler and Maxwell or just newer Pascal stuff?
