I guess not? It would be great for the Summer heat!

Are there any auto-switching pools like Wafflepool or Multipool, but which only mine the coins with lower energy consumption?
Thanks!

Well, you guys know people with Bitcoins, right? Pay some hackers to expose them.

There are a lot of forks now. And most of them have absolutely ridiculous logos and threads. I mean, the first thing people see is design. I'm not a professional designer, yep, but I can make much better promotion arts than this pictures made by children with down syndrome. And other people can make. Maybe you'll try to connect with that artistic people (and me:) for better promotion and profit?
Best regards, guys.
I'm sure that with your superior design skills, you can win every logo design contest on the forum! Think of all the altcoins you will earn! You're going to be swimming in them like Scrooge McDuck!

Is pool mining for this coin CPU only? With the current difficulty > 2700 better take a pool. Fyi, at difficulties around half that much you would make some blocks / day with a decent GPU, at difficulties less 1000 you can make a few blocks/day with a good CPU. You can't use a GPU to mine these pools though, right? I only get like 280kh out of my cpu, not really worth the extra heat on my cards.

1.1 million after mining from the start for 12 hours on multipool with ~2.1mh. These cgminer screenshots don't show the first 30 mins or so before I restarted cgminer. I started as soon as the servers opened. One of the very first to start mining mooncoin when the servers came up. I was mining while most comments were still saying they couldn't mine. Seems pretty low considering the block reward and how long I mined.

So... to start solo mining when the windows wallet comes out, I have to: - run it with "--server" command - set the rpcallowip in the .conf file to "localhost" - set username and password - set up cgminer to use these settings Is this all I need to do? I'm new to solo mining and I would be grateful if somebody could confirm/correct that. Thanks is advance! Also, what port should I use?
I wrote a solo-mining setup guide for QQcoin here: solo mining guideIt will basically be the same just change the ports (when confirmed), your UN and password (can be anything) and add node addresses. Are you sure it's Scrypt Jane?

*** We need all pool operators to PM me if they are able to operate a seed node! We need more NODES! *** Please tell us the ports.

How can I adjust this smelter miner's settings? How do I tell if it is using all of my GPUs? I am getting around 4.5mh/s on 3x7950. What hash rate does a single 7950 generally achieve with this coin?

some of your config or bat details must be wrong.
please help! so i have created in Appdata/roaming/qqcoin -> qqcoin.confcopy/pasted from this topic qqcoin.conf: rpcuser= hereIputMyNameiIinvent - is it right? rpcpassword= herepassword - is it right? rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 gen=0 port=20111 rpcport=20112 addnode=10.0.0.48 addnode=66.45.255.119 addnode=206.72.193.8 After in folder qqcoin-GPU miner i have changed solo-miner.batto qqcoinminer -o 127.0.0.1:20112 -u hereIputMyNameiIinvent -p herepassword --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1387769316 After this i save it all. And start .bat file, what have i done wrong? That all looks correct. Check to make sure your conf file is not saved as: qqcoin.conf.txt or something else, maybe? Wait, are you running the QT on the same computer you are mining from? If you are mining from a different computer you would need to add: rpcallowip=<IP of mining computer> ...and if you wanted to allow all computers on your network, you would do something like this: [example IP address] ...and you would need to change the .bat to the IP address of the computer running the QT client.

I've got the frozen.conf file correctly named and placed in the Roaming/Frozen/ directory with all the addnode assignments but it will not connect to the network for some reason.
are your ports open? Yes: ...in the frozen.conf file and I've got the port forwarded to that miner. Works with other coins. Not sure why it isn't working with this one. :/

This is what happens when the --thread-concurrency is set too high for your particular setup. Try lowering it a bit. Alternatively, you could start low, say at --thread-concurrency 4100, and keep raising it by 200 or so until it no longer loads, then go back down to the highest one that works.

Insane, been mining this for 1 hour and found nothing at 4.6m/hash on a R290...
Sounds like we have the same rig and hash rate, I've got the same results - nothing! I've got about 10k from 2 blocks after pointing 8Mh/s at it for the past hour. It could be variance. What messages are you seeing in the miner? All I've been seeing is: Network diff set to 240k Newblock detected on the network Network diff set to 241k Newblock detected on the network Network diff set to 242k Newblock detected on the network

As I said I'm quite new to this, is the Wallet being out of sync by 9500 blocks a problem? My last confirmation was at 19:03 for something that was mined at 15:57
Yes. Your wallet should sync before you mine. You may find out that a lot of those blocks are orphans when you restart the client. When I started yesterday it did sync and I was ok till about 1am GMT when it started to lag on the sync.. I have'nt restarted anything, but the miner keeps finding blocks and then the older entry in wallet gets a confirm. is that right?? Id say without a doubt that you should restart your wallet and make sure it's synced before you mine any further. To not do so is to risk building up a rather large pile of mostly nothing.

why you guys sell it now? the difficulty is skyrocketing and the rewards will drop alot.. worst move ever to sell it now
This guy ain't just whistlin Dixie! Just checked difficulty levels of Velocitycoin and QQcoin: QQcoin: { "proof-of-work" : 3.51732913, "proof-of-stake" : 0.00024414, "search-interval" : 1 } Velocitycoin: { "proof-of-work" : 3.33036894, "proof-of-stake" : 0.00024414, "search-interval" : 0 }
