There is a new system that will be out soon. When you can withdraw is based on your individual activity - there is no global date for withdrawal. I forget it's on sometimes and it surprises me the way it behaves, but it's not intrusive and doesn't slow down my search, so I'm fine with it. I don't see how anyone could use it to try to get a lot of money. They should do other things for money. I'm just going to use Presearch as the extension and forget about it as it does it's thing when I'm actually wanting to search for something. If it pays out a little something months from now, then great, but not a big deal. I understand your goals with this project and wish you much success! |

I don't think Chinese year has any importance or not since officials are taking measures against cryptocurrencies. Doge is strong enough to stand alone and to serve the traders continuously without those artificial hopes. Only thing is needed to set your goals while keeping your feet on ground and you will this market one of the best and highly profitable.
i totally agree with you! Dogecoin is stand alone if dev team keep support update or add new function for community! Always nice to get a little boost - but doesn't seem to be so significant - was anticipating a bit of a rally this week Might still be a little rally before Friday or on that day. |

This is because Bitcoin Cash is dependent on the success of Bitcoin for its survival as is the case for every altcoin. All the Bitcoin Cash people who have been hating on Bitcoin are partially responsible for what is happening to Bitcoin, and are now reaping the negative effects of the FUD they have been spreading against Bitcoin. We are in a bearish market, which could go on for a long time. The more Bitcoin goes down, the more Bitcoin Cash will go down and every other altcoin with it. In my opinion, when prices continue to drop with no clear indication of recovery, it's a smart move for a trader to cash out before losing his or her profits. There is a reason why traders say one should sell high and buy low: there is no guarantee prices will go back to what they were. This is not financial advice, but my personal opinion. That's ridiculous, we're the people who are trying to SAVE bitcoin! Blockstream and their troll army have been trying to force everyone onto Lightning, which is centralized and doesn't work, while artificially restricting the capacity of Bitcoin to 1MB blocks. The real "Bitcoin community", the academics, and the best devs have almost entirely moved over to Bitcoin Cash. And the chief Kore troll-dev, Maxwell, has resigned in disgrace. Meanwhile Bitcoin "fees are down" because nobody is using Bitcoin... And the Bitcoin Cash chain continues to grow, with more transactions, more merchants, and more momentum every day. If you want to continue sitting around complaining with the Kore people, be my guest. The coin in circulation is much will not allow the coin to grow to appreciable price. It will remain very low. The owner has a very big job to do to push and promote this coin.
And how can you even promote this coin, why do you need it at all? The most incomprehensible for me in the market is the dogecoin in which people invest for some reason. Why? It seems to me that if you invest in a project that is one that has prospects for growth and development of new technologies! But how many of these new ICO projects are really just scams? I would say a lot of them. They just think up some idea to use for blockchain and get a team together and slick website and run an ICO, but most of them are nonsense projects that will fail. Dogecoin does not pretend to be something it is not. It is a token that is not needed, but it is wanted by some, and it has a community behind it that uses it. It does not need to be needed, see? Fact is that it may never gain great value, but it will always have some value and use, because it has a lot of people who use it and who will continue to use it. Maybe some project will come up later because of the Doge-Ethereum bridge, assuming it can really be developed. Or maybe the community will start its own social network for the community instead of depending on Reddit. Hard to say what will happen in the future of Doge, but a future it does have because of the community that uses it. |

Agree, someone has just dumped a massive amount of all altcoins in general. But now DOGE price back to usual. They got a huge of cheap coin during that crash and now this time for them making profits. We should be cautious. I do not understand how the crypto-currency-meme, created for the sake of a joke, can have billions of dollars of capitalization ?? No technology, no ideas for yourself ... Dogecoin shows us that the market with all its powerful technologies and ideas (like "flying into space") is not needed by anyone - people need speculation! When this coin entered the market and it was discussed, I thought that only school-children take part in discussions, but now I just do not understand anything ... This coin is distributed free of charge in different cranes, accepted for payment. What's going on, people? Why are you investing here ?!  Dogecoin is a great coin to get started with for newbies coming in, and there are a lot of newbies these days. It's cheap, and transaction fees are nothing compared to other altcoins. It's also a fun coin (who doesn't like dogs???). It's something the general mass population can wrap their heads around. Don't have to get in too deep. Those of you who understand the blockchain and the code behind DOGE...
What can be done with this coin? What is possible?
Can it be set up like Steemit with a reward pool of DOGE? Or is that impossible?
I'm guessing it cannot be done, so I was thinking of something instead like an ad revenue sharing site, with functions like Reddit, where DOGE could be tipped also, and with the size of the community a premium for ad space could be charged and then shared according to the engagement of the members...
DOGE needs a major project to attract investors, but what kind of projects are possible or what are the limitations? That's what I'm trying to understand.

4.50$ and 20$ end 2018. Based on what? Any news? Development achievements? Adoption? Golem development has been way too slow. I have sold my GNT at 6000 satoshis and invested in RLC. At least the devs actually implement stuff on their roadmap. RLC was a smart choice. |

Several different projects are in the works that aren't being publicly broadcast yet (including one that I'm working on), plus you have the dev team soon to release an update, and several people who had projects going in the past but gave up on them are getting back in.
The Reddit channel now has over 100k subs, and it's growing every day. So many people are entering into crypto now, DOGE isn't likely to drop significantly again unless the entire market drops (such as it has being doing the past several days).
I wouldn't wait to buy in. I've been putting everything from my Steemit earnings into DOGE since Dec. 25th.
