This is one of the best projects at scaling using full sharding tech. I have been following the development closely on Discord and Github and these guys are going for it, tech is solid, team is great and delivering. Regarding the fud, here is the official response to what really hapenned. Hi Everyone,
I know there's been a lot of frustration and unhappiness regarding start of the second period of our RPX sale. As stated previously, during this first period, the cap was set at 1,000USD (27 NEO). At the conclusion of this first hour, the cap was lifted to 50,000USD (1,352 NEO). Consequently, many people who wanted to invest more, waited until the second period to invest more.
People who contributed NEO as part of block 1445025, were not considered by the smart contract to be part of the second period of participation yet. However, those that were part of block 144026, and going forward, were included. The reason for this is because smart contract timestamps are deterministic, meaning that it must output the same result, given the same input. In NEP-5 standard, the code used is:

Executing this line gets the timestamp of the PREVIOUS block, because that is the only way all the nodes can agree on what "now" actually means, since the current block 1445025 was still in progress. For everyone that contributed as part of block 144025, the "now" parameter was returned as 2017-10-08 13:59:50 GMT, outside the window of the second period. When the next block 1445026 began, the "now" parameter was then returned as 2017-10-08 14:01:44 GMT, which is within the window of the second period.
Regarding automatic refunds, we were unable to do this as a refund function could only be accomplished with implicit transaction outputs. The NEO blockchain was not designed to have implicit transaction outputs for global assets (such as NEO), because it would bring a number of problems and risk to the SPV protocol. After consulting with the NEO core dev team, the next steps for them are: NEO will provide a trigger mechanism, so that future smart contracts can refuse a transaction upon receiving a global asset transfer at a certain condition. This way, there is no need for refund, because the asset would not be accepted in the first place.
For Red Pulse our next steps are to focus on refunds. I understand the sensitivity regarding having your NEO tied up, so I'm prioritizing the refunds above all else, and personally working around the clock to process them. I aim to have these completed within a week.

I'm curious about the PoW part of this coin, are people mining it with gpus ? if so, what is the reward ? also what is the incentive node reward and how does one stake these coins ? I see no unlock to stake/mint option.
Yes, you can mine with GPU at https://pool.vchain.info/, rewards depends on your hashing power. Vcash is a 3 tier secured network (POW + POS + INCENTIVE NODES). Parte of the POW rewards are distributed to the incentive nodes. Incentive nodes are rewarding like 2 or 3 times a day, sometimes more, it depends on many factors like disk performance and internet. Really this polo business is a joke, why not just delist the coin or are they just that lazy to even do that?
We already asked them to enable the wallet and their support team said the issue has already been addressed to the admins (i asked multiple times and the same has been done by the dev team). Actually there is no problem with the Vcash network related to transactions on the network. Bittrex, for example, is running the wallet for months with no issues. We know Polo has been very busy lately with the huge amount of users joining the Exchange. But they can also enable it at any time. |

Does anyone know why deposit and withdrawal is disabled on Polo? And when it will be fixed? Will I lose XVC when I leave them on Polo?
We're still waiting for a response from Polo. If you want to withdraw your coins today, you need to buy on Bittrex. Thanks, but I have it stuck on Polo already  You can still sell the coins on Polo for BTC and buy them back on Bittrex What you cannot do on Poloniex now is just deposits and withdrawals using Xvc. |

How`s the development of this coin is going on? What must we expect in the nearest future?
It is hard to update people on everything that is going on development, but i will try to summarize here. Vcash has turned into a community project now: Besides that, we are trying to release a public roadmap for investors and making some small marketing efforts on the way. I would not be so sure it is in the wrong chain as it shows very similar blockheight at http://pool.vanillaco.in/api/stats compared to the other explorers but i will ask him on slack and will try to give a feedback here if he answers me. Ok - thank you. It's just that I went from getting blocks everyday to my wallet to nothing for the last 24 hours. Ok now over 48 hours with no pay. Is anyone else mining on @xcore's pool? Are you getting payouts? Please advise. @xcore told me he already contacted you on IRC. But just to anyone to know, the issue was related to the pool no processing payments. He will make an estimation of the stuck rewards and send them in the coming weeks |

, the problem was with the Basic Attention Token ICo on Ethereum where the guys paid thousands of dollars so their transactions could go first in the blockchain causing a temporary Backlog in the network, nothing to worry about. The ICO was sold in only 3 blocks, 24 million dollars! More info here
