how high do you think ltc can go from here [...]?
$200? litecoin. are fucking joking me

there is nothing worse than the bellowing of sold-out-early bulls, they make me sick (worse than bears I think) ... roach is our best example around here, still fapping hisself about selling out and going full fiat at $600 roach?
Nobody sold out at $600. I've been buying metals from $800 - $1600 and just made 600% on litecoin too. Anything I missed in bitcoin I already made up in alts. There's really zero reason to hold BTC over LTC right now either. Whoever buys this LTC double bottom will make far more money than anyone in Bitcoin. how high do you think ltc can go from here roach?

Funny how a lot of people project their own self loathing out into the world and onto strawmen, and then completely reveal everything that they hate about themselves, via a series of accusations aimed at the strawman, isn't it?
lol you just described yourself

I want to know why Satoshi didn't just make the blocksize a user-selectable parameter when he wrote v0.1, it just seems so simple and easy and elegant, he must have been such an idiot for messing that up?
like god giving humans free will, he just wanted to see what we'd do with it

My good friend is Pete McMillan and he works as a clerk for the SEC. He sent me a screenshot yesterday of his laptop. On it was the press release for next Wednesday on the Bitcoin Winklevii ETF... So the decision has already been made folks.
Is it wise to have named this fella in public? He might end up in a shipping container in Poland somewhere listening to the Barney song. As for the revelation that there is a WOMAN amongst us, I can't quite believe what I'm reading. Is everyone on this thread living on Mount Athos? You realise they're half the global population, right? There might be one within 5-6 metres of you RIGHT NOW. a woman posted in the r/bitcoinmarkets slack, one guy thought she was a he using a 'hot chick' avatar photo and girl's name to garner more replies. she got all the help/answers/advice/replies she wanted. hilarious.

I'm getting a lot of people who wanna buy my coins. It's weird! Price is super high, they should be selling! Not that I'm gonna turn them down, of course, but humans are fucking weird man.
guess you could always just keep raising your price and see what happens

thanks roach, been looking forward to that. I bet if you got a regular blog going you'd build up quite a following.

you're screwing yourself out of a huge opportunity over a silly grudge. to sum up what you just said in one little sentence.

Distinguished gentlemman, this is Warren Buffet, the millionaire investor. I have been watching the bitcoin market since last year, and have warned you that it was a mirage! I told you it was rat poison.
Do not invest in bitcoin! The price is going nowhere but down. Only invest in markets that provide real utility. Bitcoin does not offer any utility, and is nothing more than a glorified digital token.
You have been warned since $680! Cut your losses now, or regret it later!
losses? this week i dont think anyone has any losses

Isn't current volume for all of India like BTC500/day doubt it'll make a dent.
yeah but that was before the rupee news and this little pump. things can escalate quickly. how many indians are now thinking bout buying bitcoin just from the last couple days? the fact that we're up around 20% in the last month will surely help make its appeal very very sexy to newcomers

I wanted to get into mining some altcoins about a year ago and I really wish I did start mining Etherium. It seems so risky now. After the fork, all the turmoil and everything that has happened...
Maybe mining ETC is still profitable but I feel like unless you can predict another alt-coin that will go up in value, you are probably going to be making just a few dollars a month for a large investment, and the ROI will be a while. (Depends on how much disposable income you have and how long you can wait to get it back I guess.)
Interested in Philipma1957 or someone with a similar setup on how long the ROI for your $1600 is.
well you need to know I earn 850 a month and spend 250 on power. so 600 a month . I have 3 rigs so 4800 . so 8 x 600 = 4800 but all my rigs have 1,2,3,5 year warranties on various parts. and all parts keep resale value far better then an basic does. my earnings are based on 18 cent power thats right and to mine a profit at 18 cent power is hard to do with an basic. My power drops to 9 cents on oct 1st so I go from 250 for power to 125 for power. The key is how long does it last? wow, I really did not think mining was viable with that sort of cost per kw...I'm gonna have to think about mining altcoins

Now the price is lower than I bought for last week and I can't buy any more until Tuesday. I'm now watching helpless either way.... maybe I'll be able to snap up some bargains by Tuesday bitcoin is on its way down! bears are having their way while no longs on BFX to prop up the price.. downtrend will pick up momentum as everyone realizes that BFX hack is not over and is mtgox x 2! .... get ready for $180 bitcoin! you short? or fud-ing?

xaurum and sia sound kind of useful/unique to me but I still don't know if I trust them...my research in altcoins has been slow, boring and frustrating, and I was wondering does anyone have any words to offer on altcoins that actually have useful, unique features and seem to be somewhat trustworthy.
