1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][ends 01/12] AdShares - P2P market for programmatic ADS on: January 13, 2018, 05:18:01 AM
Cool

Very good idea. We should omit centralized monopolies whenever possible. This lowers cost for the final client.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UNIFY [UNIFY] - THIS IS THE COIN THAT YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! [POS, LOW SUPPLY] on: January 13, 2018, 05:10:59 AM
I expect a lot of retweets and likes the next two days, for January 15th wall St. Bonus day

Many crypto experts say traders are investing the money in the cryptocurrencies. Smiley Let's see what happens from the 15th

I like the project. Sort of light and fresh.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][NEW][AIRDROP] GRIDNET Project - We change the World! on: January 13, 2018, 05:08:21 AM
you promised ,right ? system will release at  31st of January ,19 days left ,  And how was this accomplished?

How to complete your commitment? where's your code ? you should worry about those but not digs at me.

if you done as your promise ,i will apologize .

if you just have ps picture for gridnet , haha.

@newworld, the way you speak there are only two options

1)either you are a desperate individual, or
2) you are a desperate individual.

See, there are no other options.

Your account has been created specifically to spread unsupported by anything claims.

Either you are from the WePowerScam, OR you are a guy who's GF got recently f by......

With all due respect. If there happens to be a delay for any reason if well justified, that would be perfectly normal and undesrtandable considering the scope of the project. I wouldn't want them to rush with anything.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][NEW][AIRDROP] GRIDNET Project - We change the World! on: January 05, 2018, 01:15:16 PM
in the mining stage 0,045% of the total supply mined each day will be of no concern.

When we compare Bitcoin,
0,045 of total supply would be equal to  9450 BTC which is just 0,00645 of the BTC daily trading volume.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] GOLDEA on: November 22, 2017, 11:53:57 AM
The mix of Gold and crypto might be interesting etc etc but you provide very few details so far
and the previous posts made sort of a 'shady' feeling around the project
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRIDNET Project - We re-invent communication and power industry! on: November 20, 2017, 10:27:42 PM
I've just placed an order in Eth...... I mean realy innovative technology (not just an idea) wih a real university backing it up. BOUGHT!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRIDNET Project - We re-invent communication and power industry! on: November 11, 2017, 03:45:56 PM
The technology and idea looks very promising; actually I've been much into networking; how do you make this possible to reward each and every intermediary using Blockchain? The idea of having an enite environment including eneregy exchange powered by BC is more than exciting to me Cheesy
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TorCoin Is A Scam on: May 21, 2017, 09:45:00 PM
I've jumped on a sort of a rant like two weeks ago in their thread. never got any official response. looks like I was mostly right after all. they claim anonimity etc. while there is not a single thing improving anonimity. they just bundle their software with a tor relay. WHAT A LAZINESS. uneblievable. now it is ovious to me that the traded volumes must be fake; I mean operated with creator's cash.I mean who with a sane mind would trade into this?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 09, 2017, 11:49:43 AM
I think the anonymous part is the most important feature at the moment in cryptos.
define anonymous.I would say the lack of centralisation is the most important. Every crypto coin can be regarded as anonymous. various bitcoin mining nodes exchange markets have already used Tor network for broadcasting transactions in the past etc. but when you get a centralised system for ex by some ASIC miners oh well. anonymous you might be but without your coins:P (in a really apocaliptic scenario). But bundling wallets, miners with a Tor interface seems like a nice feature. Though noone has yet officialy said when and what takes use of the Tor network, though there were many question we can just speculate and I do not have time to look into the source code. All I know is that the coin is bundled with a tor relay thats all. I'll now head to other coins/sections of this forum to say hi:P:P
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 09, 2017, 10:51:50 AM
Can you at least read what I posted before you come in to a conversation I was having with another poster?
I woke up; my browser did not referesh the previous posts properly, my bad, lets keep cool shall we. It is good to see this coin getting to exchange markets indeed. Well good for the coin;) You see I'm sort of frustrated about the way things look like in the crypto-coin community but that is a completely different subject and I shall leave it for another occasion so not to spoil the fun around here. people are confusing so many terms so many pseudo-secure coins etc etc. pseudo-proofs flying around. soon we will come to a situation where people will be bundling GIMP with a coin in one package. propagating GIMPCoin. as for the technical details of the coin; X11 is pointless; besides I hope everyone knows that X11 is just a fancy name for a couple of hash functions implemented by some french guy and copy pasted initially by the X11 creator. well me? I also do the same;] BUT. if you ask me you should not be using a combination of hash functions for which ASICS already do exist. have some creative invention at least and do change something in the X11 so poeple with ASICS wouldn't be able to mine the shit out of everyone else. you've seen the poor guy who wanted to mine with a CPU? think about him;]

I envision that in some years into the future we will be having a forum. maybe such as this one. maybe even this one. but where some real Legendary users will actually have a point in debunking coins which do not bring anything new to the field. Right now it looks like everyone wills to get some buck. typical wild-wild west. such a sitution allows for existance of GIMPCoins.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 09, 2017, 08:15:29 AM
As far as Torcoin goes, well, that "anonymous" thing is one of the selling points OP is using to advertise his coin. And he is certainly within his rights to do so. If people want to use Torcoin for nefarious activities, then they are taking a huge risk, and that's on them if they get tracked and caught.
oh well, do not shine with your degrees I've also got a degree;P so if you've got a degree you know that sending bitcoin from one address to another address might be considered perfectly anonymous as long as these can not be tied  to any physical idenitity;d
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 09, 2017, 08:10:13 AM
You understand the purpose of the coin isn't anything Tor related?
I wish this coin all the best. You had some sort of an idea go ahead if you ask me.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 08, 2017, 09:45:33 PM
Quote
*** Helping the TOR Network
By running TorCoin, you are increasing the number of nodes on the TOR network, and thereby helping people across the world remain anonymous.
Now instead of feeling angry I'm feeling sorry and a deep sadness fills me. that I've jumped on such a rant:( This project is indeed sad. You just wanted to increase the number of Tor nodes so you copy pasted the source of an onion router and attached it to a cryptocurrency. But then the result is the same as if somone just downloaded a Tor router and decided to help the world you are aware of that right:(
sorry for jumping on such a rant. I didn't know. I've thought that it is some sort of a SCAM that you are rewarding Tor nodes. it was actually  written as such on the first page:D
UPdate: but after a longer thought I still do feel it is a scam as it makes people think it is something it isn't:P write on the first page what it does and what it does not.
If such is the case. That a Tor router is an adware to a cryptocurrency I wish this project all the best:P it is allways good to have more onion routers around! but describe what it does and what it does not. Do not say that you reward onion routers in any way because you do not. you increase the number of routers as your software comes with one and thats it:) then there is no need for a white paper as there is nothing to describe. sorry once again. it is allways good to see people willing to aid such projects as Tor. But describe what you do. Do not log off when people are waiting for answers. If such is the case I WISH THIS PROJECT ALL THE BEST. even though we are working on a Tor-killer. Tor is a GREAT project. it aids many people world-wide and if your currency is to increase the number of routers then I wish ti ALL THE BEST.

The most confusing part was that you reward TOR nodes. Now see I'm not a troll:P I'm just researching what's going on in the field:P you might want to check out the link I gave you from time to time. maybe when the countdown finishes who knows maybe it might make you rich..  you do not see a cryptocurrency with a completely entirely new source code that often do you:P I'm out. peace be with you. At our project we are not developing a coin; we are reinventing the Internet... from Internet as we know it to IoT
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 08, 2017, 09:35:23 PM
Tor is a dictionary word not a trademark name!
It's not "advert-guys" it's users of Torcoin and members of our signature campaign.
Even if Torcoin was anything you've written, it wouldn't make any difference, what's true is

Torcoin provides: anonymity, fast transactions, and has a nice catchy name
A devoted community is all it takes to push this coin high up  Smiley

While you're attacking Torcoin, we're at 0.0009BTC and 8.5BTC in trade volume!

It is not a registered trademark name that is for sure. You know here in the open source field we try to respect each other.
If there is a project going on a well established project such as Tor. We do not steal their logo, their name, half of their source code and market is as a cryptocurrency.

And now the most important part: at the same time suggesting that you in some way reward Tor node operators. Which is a complete bullshit.

Now all you can say is that the project has a great name... I am more than sure all of the investors are sattisfied by this answer;]
A mix of two open source projects.

I've asked some conrete questions. and your master just logged off. complete silence. are you still so sure I am the guy how logged on just to say bad things? go figure
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 08, 2017, 09:22:14 PM
BUMP !

After sending way toooooooo many private messages to "thetorcoin" (pm & his personal address @protonmail.com) then never got any reply from him ... I'm starting to desperate so the FUDders are probably right. I'm even wondering if "thetorcoin" is a real person considering the fact that I never get any single reply from the staff when I ask for more information about the ad campaign  Grin (or the translations that supposedly need to be done  Wink)

not everyone was paid after all xd hey there!:P we are waiting for a response you see.
unfortunately the master of TorCoin has just logged off:P:P  so there is an ad-campaig going on... whaaaat a shame:P you also wanted to become brained washed and insert an advert in your footer?Tongue stay on the good side. but then... why is your nickname torcoin_addict already?Tongue jeezus
Update: wait; the master is back we shall get a response pretty soon.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 08, 2017, 08:57:38 PM
hey folks, TorCoin is up 170% today, great news!

However, we need to get TorCoin listed on some bigger exchanges, which would drive the price way, way up.

Especially Bittrex!

Anyone with an interest in TorCoin success should email support@bittrex.com and ask them to list TorCoin!

oh so you are the guy behind this. would you please answer my questions so to show everyone that I AM WRONG?
1) what is the relation of this project to Tor
2) who is rewarded and for what
3) in the initial post you said you reward TOR node operators; how is it possible?
4) you've copy pasted entire code of a Tor router. Do you want to operate onion routers of your own? If so -what do you reward them for. just for uptime or for what

How do you intend to integrate your routers with the rest of legit Tor-network.

simple quesitons answer here one by one. so that everyon knows I'm a guy who created an account just to say bad things about this GREAT technology:D come one. answer. one by one. I'm not asking questions I should such as why choose X11 if ASICS for this already exists what is the sligtest point is beyond me. or are you just one of the few guys operating an X11 ASIC and willing to get some buck.
sorry for being so picky:P I've been just for too long in this field not to know what you are up for:P but anyway. answer just to show the rest I'm wrong.

Oh look your post counter is 47 mine is 28 we are both NOOBS xd:P
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 08, 2017, 08:43:21 PM
White paper = Science  Grin Grin

well in the field of crypto etc? ****YES*****
It does not need to be a white paper published on a conference. It can be done anonymously (look at Bitcoin) *BUT* describe what is going on under the hood.

Do not steal name of a well established project such as Tor and claim that you aid their nodes. Some of your advert-guys already responded to me that it is 'Tor' after all;] another guy asked how to claim his reward for operating a browser ! not everyone is so computer-literate and you are feeding yourselves on their lack of knowledge. go figure.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 08, 2017, 08:30:49 PM
Your last post other than this thread is in September of 2016 Wink
So you rediscovered your account just to spread FUD Smiley
I'm  monitoring the neighborhood on what is going in the field. Our project is not directly realated to onion routing but comes close. And so I got excited. but after I noticed no one is able to answer my questions and only people with adverts in their signatures I've jumped on my rant.

I'm not scared. You see. Our project is backed by science, white-papers, there is not a SINGLE line of code common with any other open source project so go figure.

Like I said - I might be wrong. After all there is not a single line of words explaining the relation of this coin with onion routing, Tor project. nothing. Maybe that is enough to make it feel like a SCAM well isnt it?

Honestly the altcoin-scene is full with scams, various proof-of-shit concepts which have NOTHING todo with science. Loot at the SAFE NET scam. cryptocurrency and patents?;] no white paper? still 20+mln usd dollars from crowd funding. I KNOW how much it takes to develope a scheme which would work in the scenario of onion oruting anonimity etc. and guess what? here is even not a single white paper? You say I'm FUDing this coin?

Tell you what? This is crypto. And if someone puts the name of a well established project such as Tor.. into the name of his product.. ohhhhh well.
I would expect some serious explanation.

Vega for fuks sake, just shut up already
Gosh  Roll Eyes

You understand I'm the bloody Signature Campaign Manager?

Stand still and wait silentily for TheTorcoin to come online Smiley

You believe Torcoin is such a shitcoin you had a need to sign up only to FUD it?
Doesn't sound realistic to me
Sounds more like you felt threatened by it Wink
nah; I've been registered with this account for a couple of years:P

And you just made your first posts now, how convenient Smiley
NO I did not make a first post now I had 7 posts before I noticed this shitcoin.

tell you what.
I will present you with some facts.
This coin is a mix of another altcoin's source and an onion router:) That is A FACT.
The name of the project includes 'Tor' well I think it is not allright to relate to a project one has nothing to do with. dont you think?

Third.  The OP suggests that this coin is rewarding Tor nodes. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.
