there was some commotion about this and they finally named ethereum as number one!!! and as soon as they did this everyone started dumping ETH....

why do you think that is? was this a confirmation of its centralization?

i just realized this very interesting relationship here which i wanted to share with everyone and know what you think.

everyone knows that ETH price has only been going up because of all the ICOs that have been using this platform. but we all doubted how effective it was.

right now that ICOs are under attack, their ads are being banned on biggest platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google,... and they also are getting banned in many countries and right now they are illegal.
with all that ethereum price is also falling pretty hard.

so it seems like everyone was right all along, ETH price has been pumping only because of ICOs...
what do you think?

to be clear this was not a "correction" that you experienced with altcoins. it was a dump and a small bubble burst instead.

more fall
more people saying it will fall to $X that will never happen
more people saying it will go up to $Y that will never happen in their time frame

basically the same bullshit that has been going on for 9 years which whales use to make more money out of the newbies.

in other words Ethereum is a shitcoin with lots of bugs and when you invest in it, you may lose all your money because someone else could steal your coins using the ethereum features.

i have seen Electroneum being hyped a lot these days and when an altcoin is being advertised this much they usually have a pump going on already. i have made good profit from it also.
but we should remember that pumps come to an end and advertisement can not keep the bubble going.

i don't have any issues with paying taxes, maybe because they are not that high or a problem where i live, so i don't see any issue with me paying taxes on bitcoin profits too.

but first bitcoin needs to be regulated and adopted first.

it is very hard for me to imagine the price of ethereum in long term like in 5 years. with no mining, and not ICO anymore in a short while things are going to become very hard for it to continue staying alive even. and there is not much usage for ethereum anyways.

most of the airdrops are too small to even dump
you have to try to dump them though, because it will just lose its value.

there are exceptions where they gain real value for a short time but it is risky to hold them for long.

Monero is one of those useful coins that actually offer something to you. so yes if you want to buy it then do.
and as far as its price goes, it has been one of the most stable ones out there and right now it is having a good week of rising.

just keep on holding your bitcoins for long term and enjoy the profit that you will gain when bitcoin reaches $10,000-$50,000 in a year or so.

meanwhile only look for altcoins that are getting pumped, not those that have already been pumped, don't be a naive bagholder

if you want to see bitcoin as a currency then it doesn't matter how much it is worth. you buy $20 worth of bitcoin and you spend $20 worth of bitcoin. if bitcoin is worth $20 you get 1 bitcoin and spend 1 bitcoin.
if it is worth $1000 you get 0.02 bitcoin and you spend 0.02 bitcoin.
