There will be a scrypt an x11 multipool for Gridcoin very soon, so price will start to rise. reputables. Prompt, which explains why such a price drop? agree introduced CPU blocks that uvelichelis number of payments, but it is a price drop in 2 times instead of 4-3,5!!!
yeah! need to know this too! hope you will be right! i remenber when the price was 0.001btc/grc. and the saddest thing, is the 24volume ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) when cpu-mining came on-board, the max coin amount simply doubled. supporters tried to hold the value up, but it has to sustain itself to go forward. awaiting the new buy-side multi-pool ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Hi Anonerd, you don't have your facts right. Since the new CPU mining has gone live, the estimated total coin count went back to the original of ~168 million, because the total of 576 blocks per day are now split between GPU&CPU miners. Andrew.

we should find I way to relate "economy" and "parallel computing power" to better alocate resorces to projects thats matter ... not just be a "zombie-hash-smash-heating-source" ... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi62.tinypic.com%2F9zx6w3.png&t=663&c=Xw63T3Q0qCOejQ) Hi, Yep, and that's what Gridcoin is doing...alocating resources to projects that matter and building a solid cryptocurrency foundations. I've been updating people on Twitter and in this thread. The wallet is not syncing, I'm in contact with the dev. Transactions cannot be sent if the wallet does not sync. I'm sorry the market has been frozen for so long, but we're doing everything we can.
Hi Busoni, Thanks for the communication and updates here. You're doing a nice job with your exchange...mistakes just happen sometimes - we're all just people. Keep up the good work, A. Are you kidding me? They did not release *any* information about why the market was frozen, for more than a week. They also did not respond to any of my support tickets for more than a week. And you think they're doing "good work"? What a joke. Running an exchange is not an easy task and mistakes sometimes happen...that's how it is. I really appreciate the way Busoni admited their mistake and apologized..that's something not many people would do and he has shown this quality more than once. I get that you're pissed, I personally have some GRC there also, however posting here and counting every day that the market is frozen especially when the exchange has communicated what's going on at numerous places now, will not do anybody any good. A.

Hello! I can't sync my wallet. I've tried adding various nodes from different posts and no luck. I also tried to type 'upgrade' in the console and after what looks like some file downloads I get an error saying 'An exception occurred during a WebClient request..' over and over.
I've tried with normal and beta versions on 2 different computers with the same results. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
Hi, please don't use the beta as this version currently works with testnet only. If you're getting this error while upgrading, run Gridcoin as admin and then upgrade again...worked for me every time. Hope this helps. Andrew. Thanks, Andrew! I was sure I had tried this already, but seems not! Wallet is syncing now. Np, I'm glad it helped! Andrew.

Hate to rain on u guys parade but... If I can't download the wallet from the manufacturers website now and have it sync, what's the point? Assume I'm not mining, Boincing or know this forum exists, that I bought or someone gave me some Gridcoin, where am I to store it? Not going to .conf this or delete that app data and then spin my head and enter this line in the whatever. Who's going to use this coin other than miners, geeks, tweebs, losers, etc. Back to the point, no wallet no coin no future except for miners.
Hi, You can download the wallet and have it sync. There's a new version with the new cpu mining and a more applike functionality being worked on very hard and is going to be live very soon. Along with a completely redesigned website. You're welcome to help with the latest testing. https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/9612-testers-wanted-test-net-gridcoin-testing-thread/Andrew.

GRC was number 1 several days ago on the mintpal voting. It had over 100,000 votes. Now it is number 12 with 38,000 votes? What happened?
Hi, it was GRS - GroestlCoin and it got listed. Andrew.

The testnet folder is no longer on the mirror; so it should not be possible.
Verified. Upgrade works again.
Fixed by erasing all GRC files except gridcoin.conf and wallet.dat then reinstalling wallet from the official site's .msi (v.2.1.0.0 - someone mentionned using 2.1.0.7, but I can't seem to find it). However, the blockchain download progress has been stuck at 0% with message "synchronizing with network" for about 6 hours now, even though I added all nodes and I have 74 active connections. Anyone else has had and fixed this problem? Hi, try upgrading from the console. That'll get you to the latest version. Andrew.

Sorry guys, we need to de-list gridcoin. We're running version 2000500 and cannot for the life of us get any connections. We've been trying for WEEKS, and no nodes we add work. Not sure if it's because we compiled from the git, or the nodes, or some weird thing that your wallet needs, but it's totally DOA.
If someone manages to get a compiled, working, connected version going under linux, please email me directly, but for now... it's been dead for a month. We can't connect.
Hi, you do know that you need the special version from the Rob(the dev) himself and that the older ones aren't going to work. We've talked about this more than 2 weeks ago. Have you tried finding out how to contact him on Github or tried the e-mail I sent you again? Andrew.

Hi Fullhdpixel,
thanks for your quick response and sending the spreadsheet. Everything works fine, thanks. I'd like to ask though: 1. Could you please also add Bid/Ask for Cryptsy - so far I can only see last trades and having Bid/Ask data would I'm sure be very helpful to many people 2. On the Mintpal list I can see that some pairs change position - when people do additional calculations with the data it would be easier to do if they didn't change cells 3. Also I have a suggestion regarding the trading platfom. A big part of retail, specifically spot forex trading is done on Metatrader platform. If you could connect major crypto exchanges into the platform in a way where all of its features and trading would work it would be a big deal and I'm sure you'd sell a lot. Basically why would you create your own trading platform when you can use something the industry is used to, it's finished and you just need to work out the connections to exchanges.
Regards, Andrew.
