1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help RECOVER please... I have ALL of my info + private key to my btc wallet on: September 24, 2016, 09:27:30 AM
Thank you Edwardard.  I have the real private key (it is an encrypted private key of alphanumeric #s).  Apparently that translates into the original 6word phrase that their own system glitched and neither I or their tech can uncover/recover Sad

And also I appreciate your help shield132.  That recovery tool link you sent (I have been on that) but thank you.  I can fill out ALL of the info that requested like 6 of the total 7 entries it asks for...except for the backup passphrase to my private key.

Now, IF I have my alphanumeric, actual private key can't I go here to retrieve?  Does anybody understand the computer lingo and what they are asking for here?  Here is the link https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=import%20private%20key%20bitcoin apparently releasing a private key out in the open a dangerous way to lose bitcoins...but I have it knowingly and legitimately (my private key) and cannot access my own bitcoins.

Anybody?

Thanks for any further development with this.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Help RECOVER please... I have ALL of my info + private key to my btc wallet on: September 24, 2016, 06:21:48 AM
I have all of my info and private key that is "encrypted".  I can log into my Carbon Wallet account however they (site) says it is so secure that my 6word Passphrase is needed to transfer my funds.  Well, I have (again) ALL of my info including my single private key (encrypted) that will need decrypting.

Please help and I will gladly take care of you.  Promise.  This is out on the forum here.

I am not computer savvy at all.  I don't know how to follow these commands/steps https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=import%20private%20key%20bitcoin

Please, PLEASE HELP.  NOTE: I also have what's called my "Public Key generated in browser".

Thank you -- Jeff
3  Economy / Web Wallets / I have my encrypted private key to my bitcoin wallet and ALL info (help recover) on: September 24, 2016, 05:56:40 AM
Hello bitcoin and program experts.
I have joined Carbon Wallet who claims to be the most-secure with their 2 key sign-in.

Well that is 100% untrue.  a) I have my personal carbon key (please click here and see how quick to get one) carbonwallet.com  it links to your cell phone device as this is ONE way that nobody else has your cell but you to log in (my phone has 12 words Passphrase)
b) However, the 2nd additional way is then asked when you are already LOGGED in to be able to transfer out funds using a 2nd encrypted 6 word passphrase

WELL...they have a "glitch" where I was not given a 6 word Passphrase...and now even stranger, after contacting their support...they say they cannot access the account.

c) Well, if somebody is able to help me...I would gladly agree here (this is a public forum for proof) to send you $200 to your bitcoin wallet.  However, you will have to help me decrypt my 6word Passphrase

I am logged in...again, I have initial access to my account with my phone...I have my 12 word Passphrase... I have my encrypted private key....I have ALL of my info....JUST NOT the 6 word Passphrase to transfer out.

I see this as 1 option.  I am just not computer language literate http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/5324/how-do-i-import-private-keys-from-bitcoin-qt-to-multibit-client/13303#13303

Then I see this as well https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=import%20private%20key%20bitcoin

They make it seem easy...but please do a step by step with me.  I promise to take care of you.

Thanks so very much to this forum -- Jeff
4  Economy / Web Wallets / Please help. re: Carbon Wallet :( glitch where I cannot recover my account on: September 21, 2016, 06:02:49 AM
Dear Team of bitcoin Pros.

My name is Jeff and I just recently joined Carbon Wallet after seeing how secure their site is and (what I thought was reliable).  Well here is the bottom line:
1) I created a Carbon Wallet account on pc that my cell phone communicates with (I scan a qr code with my cell) that acts just like a key aka "Carbon Key" (ok...makes sense...NOBODY has my phone but me)
2) when I am logged in however, the site asks for a Passphrase (6 words) that is different from my (phone/carbon key which is 12 word passphrase).

3) Does anybody here have a Carbon Wallet acct.  If not please go to carbonwallet.com  It takes seconds.. and you will actually see the quick process.  My problem is this:  I was able to transfer funds (receive bitcoins) easy....

BUT sending funds out requires a 6 word that I never got from the start.  I have my private key (encrypted) but not the actual words or passphrase that that translates into.

I know if I provide this info to a Pro...they can help me decrypt this into 6 words.  And if/when they do, you have my words that I will be happy to give them a tip.

WHAT IS WILD IS THAT CARBON WALLET SUPPORT cannot even help me??  IT is that secure??  How do I trust giving my private key for this account to send to another wallet or exchange.  My funds for now are locked in.  This is my hard work/earnings that is sitting in the air.  Nobody, not even myself OR Carbon Wallet (creator of this site) cannot get to it....so they say Sad

Please HELP.  Need that Hero.  I will stand by.  THANK YOU.
