Can't visit your side.

I only see this -

Faucet disabled for maintenance due to bot accounts.

Hello,

That's because you're only trying to use the faucet.
You have to go to https://www.bitraffles.com
3  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] ★ Bitraffles.com | FREE Bitcoin Raffles - Join, Play, Win! ★ on: October 08, 2016, 07:15:15 PM
Did you implement it or not? That a user only can win a  raffle once?

I haven't implemented it yet, it was a thought I had.
Was looking to get feedback from users on it.

ah well i think you shouldnt do it Smiley Think people dont visit the page so often anymore then.

Thanks for the feedback.
Yes users may visit less, though it would mainly be the users who win whom wouldn't be visiting as often. Though they still have other raffles they can compete in at the same time.

Update:
  • Changed win cooldown of the 15 minute raffle to 30 minutes.

5  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Will I get paid from Google Adsense? on: October 08, 2016, 06:29:11 PM
Google adsense has been banning a lot of Bitcoin related websites in general.
I have had adsense for almost 10 years now, and as of recently I was banned from their service.

The website they disabled and banned me for didn't even have a faucet or give away Satoshi on it, it was merely a blog about Bitcoin.
With that said, if your website is in any way affiliated with Bitcoin, and / or give away Satoshi, you will eventually get banned from Google.

It's just a matter of when.

Updates:
  • Fixed bug in Daily Raffle
  • Added Daily Raffle win cooldown

I apologize for my absence, as I have been working on a new project, and a possible new feature to implement into Bitraffles.
I have also been working on creating a basic Raffle Script to sell if users are interested in creating there own Raffle Faucet.
If anyone is interested, please let me know as I don't want to dedicate too much time if no one is interested.

It seems since the launch of tickets to enter raffles, more users have been participating in the raffles. Smiley
With this I have been debating on making it to where a user can only win each raffle once per day, this would give more users a chance to win each raffle.

Raffles in turn would have:
15 Minute Raffle - 96 Different Winners
30 Minute Raffle - 48 Different Winners
Hourly Raffle - 24 Different Winners
Daily Raffle - 1 Winner

Total Daily Winners: 169 Users

This won't do much justice if there's more than 169 users participating in each raffle, but at this point in time there is not. If and when that time comes, I will add either more Raffles, or code in a feature to allow multiple winners.
7  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Site owners discussion] Safe pop under networks? on: October 07, 2016, 01:30:30 AM
Propeller ads does pay well, but as stated they do serve shady ads... but in my experiences almost all pop under networks tend to have malware / shady ads to begin with.

I have yet to find a network that has decent pop under advertisements and pays well.
I'll be testing a network soon that I found recently, and let you know how it turns out.
8  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] ★ Bitraffles.com | Bitcoin Raffles - Join, Play, Win! | Faucet Added ★ on: October 06, 2016, 01:46:42 PM
Hey admin just wondering if your faucet will be going back up.. suck to hear you had so many bot accounts to deal with.keep us posted maybe

I removed the faucet for the time being, as there were over 600+ bot accounts created.

Updates:
  • Temporarily removed faucet
  • Added Tickets
  • Added Enter Raffle with available Tickets

Users can now enter raffles with either Satoshi or Tickets.
Every 5 minutes users gain +1 Ticket to use in the raffles.
All raffles cost 1 Ticket to enter.

I added the ticket system to supplement the faucet, as many were using the faucet to gain Satoshi to enter raffles regardless. With the extreme use of Bots on the website draining the site balance, a ticket system, in my opinion, would be more suitable to gain free Raffle entries.

More updates soon.

I think the admin should leave it.... You already got a dam good chance at winning..

I've made about 20k sats in 2 days..

I would have to say the system works the way it is... Making it so you can't win a bunch in a row was a good idea.

Yes, at the moment with such few players it's relatively easy to get wins, with the current system / user base it's easy for users to get wins, and have different winners often. This in time may change when there's more users on the websites, or some changes will be implemented to the raffles itself.

Referral contest is almost over, only 2 days remain.

I may changed the daily raffle to twice daily instead of once, or possibly add a 12 hour raffle also.
Raffle rewards may also be raised in time.

For the time being, I'll be working on implementing more ways for users to earn on the website like an offerwall, ptc, etc.

Updates:
  • Edited main index page.
  • Edited navigation menu.
  • Fixed faucet bug.

Updates:
  • Added Winner Cooldowns
  • Removed Free Entry Promotions

Added a Win Cooldown on all raffles to make the raffles more fair. If a user won the previous raffle, the winner will have a win cooldwon and not be able to enter the next raffle.

Removed the free entry feature to claim a free raffle entry through Ad.Fly, this feature was interfering with the new Win Cooldown code by still allowing a user to enter the raffle.

This means in order to enter a raffle a user has to either:
  • A. Use referral commission
  • B. Claim through the faucet in order to compete in raffles

But there is only 1 winner in raffles! So, 100 users will claim from faucet and enter raffle for 500 satoshi, then there will be 1 winner and that winner can participate hourly and half hour rafle and 15 min again, but the rest 99 users will have to wait 15 minute for faucet just to participate 500 sat raffle? How is this fair?

Is your definition of fair awarding every single user who enters the raffle a win every single time?

I've seen users win 3 to 4 times in a row, to compensate for this I changed it to where that winner can only win 1 raffle in a row.
It's a contest, not everyone is meant to win, if that were the case, what would be the point of even calling it a raffle?
Maybe I should change it to where that user can only win 1 time per day per raffle.

The faucet you can claim 50 Satoshi per 15 minutes, which equates to 200 per hour, which is almost on par with a lot of faucet averages.
Users do not have to use this in raffles, they can clearly save it up and withdraw.

The limitation of earnings comes from it being Ticket based and limiting tickets, otherwise, like most faucet websites, it would die in a few days.

I reduced the price of the Daily Raffle from 500 Satoshi to 200 Satoshi, so the raffle prices are as follows:
  • 15 Minute Raffle - 50 Satoshi Entry
  • 30 Minute Raffle - 100 Satoshi Entry
  • Hourly Raffle - 150 Satoshi Entry
  • Daily Raffle - 200 Satoshi Entry

I'm sorry you're not getting rich off of this free website, I wish you best of luck in your getting rich while grinding faucet endeavors.

14  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ★ BitMedia.IO ★ Bitcoin Advertising Platform - Official Thread on: September 24, 2016, 07:55:40 PM
They have the right to add/remove any site from their platform. It's their product.
That site looks clean and nice. That might be the reason they accepted it. It's not the everyday sh*t generic faucet page you'll see.

Thanks for the defense Smiley
I registered then applied, and I'm sure Bitmedia can clearly see a lot of work and effort went into creating our Bitraffles platform.

As mexicantarget stated, Bitraffles is not your generic faucet where someone just joins with a Bitcoin address, then leaves after claiming. It requires actual engagement and registration into the website in order to gain anything. Not to mention as I stated above Bitraffles also has a unique design and platform.

Registration and account verification alone, in ways, helps prevent spam traffic as a large part of the faucet using community is merely just bounce traffic.

Maybe this is why in part, Bitraffles was accepted as a publisher regardless of being new.

Successful made withdrawal, 2000 satoshi are in faucetbox, thnx.
May i suggest you something? Can you add password change in dashboard, it would be very nice if we could just come and change it, because if you do change with email, you get random password

Congrats on your win and withdrawal. Cheesy
When I get the time I'll rework the password change system, thanks for your input!

I like the idea of the raffles.. will be trying the site out when I get home on my desktop and I'll post a short review of my opinion on it..

Best of luck and hope you enjoy! Late night has been the prime time for entering raffles as with such few users, many grind wins. Smiley
I think LerBer has already won and withdrawn over 30,000 Satoshi since the launch of the website.

Updates:
  • Added a faucet where users can claim 50 Satoshi every 10 minutes.
  • Faucet is ticket based, gain +1 ticket every 30 minutes.
  • Users start with 5 Tickets and have the ability to earn more.
  • Earn 10% Referral commission from your referrals faucet claims!

We set the faucet to use tickets to prevent abuse and botters.

With the few users actually playing the raffles at the moment, some have been grinding them and winning multiple times in a row.
As of right now one user alone has withdrawn almost 30,000 Satoshi today from raffles.
18  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] ★ Bitraffles.com | Bitcoin Raffles - Join, Play, Win! on: September 23, 2016, 09:12:27 PM
I really like the idea of raffles, I was thinking in doing one, good to see you already did it!  Grin Better than common faucets!

Just one question: How much of % of the entries goes to the prize and how much goes to you?

Deposits are not available on the website, so 0% goes to us. Smiley
500 Satoshi is given to users when they initially register that they can use in the raffles, and we're currently working on other ways to earn Satoshi on the website.
19  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] ★ Bitraffles.com | Bitcoin Raffles - Join, Play, Win! on: September 23, 2016, 02:19:41 PM
Ill try this. Its actually new faucet concept where only 1 person can claim every 15-30-60 min. Maybe rewards are bit low because there is only 1 winner, i hope in future you will have more users so you could give higher rewards. Wish you good luck with project
cheers

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately we cannot afford to give away millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin for free at the moment, we may increase rewards in the future, or allow multiple winners of one raffle.

Updates:
  • Fixed a bug with displaying a users Raffle Entries.
  • Lowered minimum withdrawal to 1000 Satoshi.
  • Added Withdrawal history table.
