1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Continue To Fall In 2019? (Sharing my thoughts) on: December 31, 2018, 04:39:47 AM
All predictions are coming to the same conclusion: maybe it will or maybe it will not. Nobody knows as I see, but everybody hope for better result  Cheesy

I think with the increased user base, the price will rise gradually.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be worried about BCH? on: February 26, 2018, 02:55:12 PM
For some  of us who have invested in BitcoinCash - BCH? should we be worried considering the recent news of it going lower and the changes in its blocks?

thoughts?

I think if the Bitcoin hard fork again to change the PoW as suggested by Cobra, then some people might move to Bitcoin Cash. So it could be a hedge against the fall of Bitcoin.

With powerful CPU, you should mine Monero (XMR) or Magi (XMG).

I'm already making xmr, its giving $4/daily.

Is that CPU or GPU?

eight expansion PCI Express x16 slots
So you can save the riser bucks, and also minimize the risk of low quality risers (always the issue)

Inside a case this is perfect, outside a case is terrible. This needs to have a custom case.

I agree. outside a case, the air flow is not so good.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Rebrand - RX570 / RX580 - Official Thread on: June 02, 2017, 07:06:46 AM
Hello everyone,

I have 6x XFX RX580 8GB all with Hynix memory. Out the box they hash at about 22.1-22.7 MH/s. I updated the drivers to latest. I am testing two cards in my gaming pc until the TB-250 gets here. I have tried to under-clock the cclock and it does not affect the hashrate so pretty sure I'm good there. But in trying to overclock the memory, I put it up to 2050, and I drop to 19.5 MH/s. Only on the first card, GPU0, the second card typically doesn't get affected. I am doing this with the AMD settings desktop app. I tried also with MSI Afterburner but same results. Played around with under-volting and got decent power consumption drop.

Finally I patched the drivers, loaded up ATIWinFlash and modded bios(flipped switch on GPU toward rear) by copying the 1:1750 timings to the 1:2000 timings. Saved and loaded and still same hashrate while same situation as far as overclocking while dropping in MH/s rate.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!!
22MH/s for stock is possible, it should be more like 24Mh/s, but it could be also the motherboard, TB-250 will push it more. Hynix is the main problem, but you should be running at least 28MH/s with good timings. PM me if you want it.

Why the MB TB-250 will push more hash?

Hi Friends!

Can You advise me- what better to buy to have more H/s in minnig ZEC and spend less electricity?

Which card(s) is more profitable for minning ?

rx390x - 495$

rx390 -  420$

two rx470 4GB ram- 250$   or

two rx470 8GB ram- 304$  (do i need more RAM for mine ZEC or anything else?)

two rx480 8GB ram- 329$

Thank You So much!

The real price for 390 cards is around 250$. Don't look at the old amazon offers which are ridiculously high. However I warn you (and everyone planning to invest in new rigs) that most probably by the time of arriving of the cards, the profit will drop so much that the ROI will be impossible in near future. Look at the plummeting prices of ETH and ETC curently. The pressure on ZEC and XMR is too high now, so they will not hold the current price for long.

I agree with that. If you pay more than $0.12 per kWh, it is not profitable to mine the ZEC, let alone ROI.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Is buying bitcoins the same as buying stocks in stock market? on: October 14, 2016, 07:21:24 PM
I'm just curious, are they just the same?

They have something in common but I wouldnt say that they are the same because with bitcoin you can buy things by using it as money and also as a debit card, you have more freedom with bitcoin rather than stocks.

For the bitcoin, it is more like a buy and hold. If you bought the bitcoin 6 years ago, lots of profit have been made.

I will advice you to learn how to trade bitcoin with other currency. Bitcoin mining are for those that has large capital

Bitcoin mining is not for the newbie. It is better to mine the altcoins with the graphics cards. They are much cheaper.
