It is not the same but in some countries Bitcoin was treated like goods and goods could be also traded on different stock markets so there is maybe the link and some kind of similarity.
But when buying Bitcoins you don't have any requests and limitations that are typical for buying shares on stock market.
most people still don't understand about what exactly bitcoin it is ,
they considering bitcoin like oil , gold and any other stocks stuff ,
really hard to know what bitcoin for a common people ,
but it is better to assume bitcoin are like stocks market for the first time , just to make them interested to buy and invest in bitcoin.

I'm just curious, are they just the same?

Not really. but there are some coins that works that way such as ICONOMI. those coins that supplies are limited especially to 100M only such as wavesplatform.

stocks can be risky if you don't have inside information to companies you invest with.

IMO, it's different things. Bitcoin as currency while stocks it isn't. When we buy stocks then we have part of ownership in a company, but if we have bitcoin it's our assets not shared with everyone.

Yes, more particularly we can not use stocks as currency nor medium of exchange anywhere, but bitcoin will get you those chances. With the investment aspects, both are similar and bitcoin will get us more returns. If you are buying bitcoin only for investment purposes then it is exact you are investing into an electronic format stocks.

I'm just curious, are they just the same?

They have something in common but I wouldnt say that they are the same because with bitcoin you can buy things by using it as money and also as a debit card, you have more freedom with bitcoin rather than stocks.

For the bitcoin, it is more like a buy and hold. If you bought the bitcoin 6 years ago, lots of profit have been made.

I know the profit what it would be If I would invest in bitcoin in their early days, People have become very rich because of bitcoin, but we cant say that bitcoin is the same thing as stocks.

You can compare the two cause they are very similar yes the difference is bitcoin functions as a currency as well.
Bitcoin can make you a lot of profit if you know what you are doing of course.

Yes I also think that there are some signs that are the same but for the most part it is different without any doubts.
Of course its also how you look at it but that is just what I think..

Well I really wanted to start having stocking trading with our stock market here in my country. But it is really making me doubtful because I find it hard and I am not able to understand that easily. But upon knowing bitcoin, I understand and realized it immediately that this is just the same with stock market, so I didn't continue to stock market anymore but I focused more with crypto trading.

Bitcoin can make you a lot of profit if you know what you are doing of course.

But if you invest in good stocks also can make you very rich and there are many people already did it. Both are investments with different risk factors and advantages.  For me, both are just an investments but the only difference is bitcoins can be used to buy many other things in online instantly if you won it but stocks we have to sell before using that money. If you buy at the wrong time, then you can make lose in both, but buying stocks are slightly higher risky investments compared to bitcoins.

if I think yes. we might as well buy a market in the stock market. because bitcoin is widely used for planting stock in a company, bitcoin is used as a means of transaction. bitcoin price rise was also due to existing stocks includedif there is something wrong with my opinion, I apologize

I do not know how it works with the stock market because I have never done any research about it but I do think that it is somewhat the same.
I think that I am going to do some research on stocks maybe I will also invest in that,

it is true, bitcoin prices continue to change at any time. so we could call bitcoin is an investment.
with this, the bitcoin clearly different from buying stocks in the market.

well i would say no, it is different, when you bought stock it's mean you bought the part of the company, purchasing bitcoin is more like you buy gold or another country currency, so bitcoin is more like commodity that you can used to trade and purchasing bitcoin is easier than purchasing stock

in present tie we are purchasing bitcoin using fiat  but in future when we will starting using bitcoin as currency then we will earn it as we earn the fiat, but still as the users of bitcoin are very low therefore people are using bitcoin as investment.

Did you really miss something, even bitcoin is limited and so is the reason for the price to grow like this .Iconomi is an asset based on the Ethereum platform while bitcoin is a currency which is really used in transactions and other uses.while i doubt the same is used in Iconomi or the project is still under development.
