2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I've read somewhere in 4 years the blockchain will be 700GB on: November 13, 2016, 04:35:21 PM
Here is a calculator to help you.

I would suggest 1.5MB is a good average to set it to for the next 4 years. You are looking at about 205 GB a year max or under ~800GB after 4 years.

6  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Reward Bounty for Hodl wallet feature - CLTV-enabled multisig addresses #7534 on: October 15, 2016, 08:12:19 PM
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/7534

Offering 0.5 BTC for any existing Bitcoin core dev to review and create a needed unit test for this in demand wallet feature. Will raise funds for GUI development thereafter.

FYI-- Greg brought up some valid concerns about Locking coins far into the future. Thus the plan is to only allow up to 1 year or less CLTV within the GUI so we don't have a ton of users dangerously locking up their coins far into the future.
