A troll with no substance that preys on others' misfortunes. Do you feel that small that you have a need to beat up those who are smaller than you? Otherwise, why oh why do you consistently attack people as if they hold less and therefore are less important than you? Does that make their point less valuable? There are plenty of people here with many many more Factoids than you have. Following your example should we make fun of you and your 1000 or 5000 factoids? Do you even stand by your words? I'll take 1, 13, or 26 free Factoids any day. In the meantime you keep beating your chest saying how great Factom is, when it is obvious that something is off. Do you enjoy watching the "lesser coins"(your opinion, not mine) enjoy prosperity while you keep on waiting? For many of them there are no signs of obscene manipulation, in stark contrast to Factoids. You would also see those signs if you put hundreds of thousands of $$$ in this "not-so-honest" coin. Not because of the amount, but because of the knowledge you gained before getting there. Good luck, I hope all of us walk out with at least a little bit of profit sooner rather than later.

I have no doubt that Factom directly doesn't engage in the manipulation.
I also have no doubt that someone associated with Factom does engage.

These never ending Black Swan events lead to the only one logical conclusion: Factom is complicit in the trading patterns of FCT. The trading volume for the market cap is incredible. Yet I'd wager that the absolute majority of the holders of FCT are not day-traders for a couple of reasons: their position is either too big to day-trade, or, by the looks of the comments on any platform, majority doesn't understand how the TA works. For comparison we can look at Dogecoin. A coin with a similar market cap, which is not pumped and dumped, and is respected for its concept. As it is, it doesn't have nearly as much potential as Factom. Yet it trades pretty healthy, respects the charts, makes significant movements up or down on hundreds, not thousands of traded Bitcoins. Factom? Following/trading Factom is a joke. It looks as if the price intentionally breaks support and resistance levels(causing fake 'buy' and 'sell' triggers, amplifying sell-offs), it dumps 20% on a fart, and then dumps some more. Anyone saw the announcement and immediately sold on the delayed Exodus wallet? Crickets? It has the backing from very, very rich and influential people and mutual funds. Yet there is no sight of them competing for Factoids. Instead we are supposed to believe it is some "secret" whale schmuck that just plays with it at his will. Against all of these institutions? Give me a break! If Factom wanted, they could end this BS today. Yet they don't. The wild wild west with no regulations... It's only business, right?

IMHO.

Factom is a company behind the tech.
Factoid is what you buy on Poloniex, it's a right to store data using the tech. There is a limited amount of these rights, so the more the tech is used, the more factoid is valued.

Fundamental things you mentioned do not hurt.
Charts just give it a more precise slope/timing when and where it is going, support and resistance levels. And then you get a perfect storm if you time/plan your news announcements into the chart strengths.

IF it reaches 0.01, it would be stupid not to sell some. If only to buy a bottle of champagne. Or to put some cash aside for a possible dip. Or to diversify. Sure, it might rise even higher, or you might end up just like those Monero fanbois.

The price movement is not about the news, or what is in the news. That's why time and again the majority of you will be baffled. Hey M2 is here, we're going to the Moon!... Not.
It's all about keeping everyone surprised and making the most money in the process. Play the long game, do not overleverage, take some profits on spikes, and you'll be OK. You'll be surprised again and again, on bigger spikes than you expect, and on bigger dumps than you expect.

Of course it matters.
First, I'd like to figure out if it's worth negotiating. If you have some unreasonable expectations, or maybe I'm not seeing the value that you're seeing. Second, I'd like to do the exchange in person, so neither of us get scammed.
